We definitely wish we had better weather but because we got our tickets for a specific date with express passes none of the scare actors came out for the haunt which was the main reason we were there. There were more jump scares in Hellraiser than you didn’t even time to look at them or the scenario because they jumped at your face every 5 seconds. The park itself is its own little village for sure and I love all the themes everywhere you go. I’d love to find out how this becomes a career because I would absolutely LOVE to do the designs for some of the stores and restaurants and inside the riding wait zones!! I was really intrigued!

Booking tickets on Trip.com is convenient and fast! Instant confirmation and direct ticket issuance! At the park, you can simply scan your e-ticket to enter! Very convenient! Highly recommended! Orlando's summer weather is incredibly unpredictable. One minute it's blazing hot, the next it's pouring rain in the afternoon, lasting for an hour or two! Whenever it rains heavily, the park's outdoor attractions are closed until the rain stops! It's advisable to bring a raincoat or umbrella when entering the park!

Park tickets are very expensive. Some facilities are a bit dated. Free lockers are quite small. Hogwarts castle is under maintenance so no light shows

Universal Studios is the world's largest and a must-visit when you go to Orlando. The staff are very friendly, and there are many photo spots in the park. Even if you don't get to ride the thrilling rides, you should still experience them! I only visited two parks this time, but if I have the chance again, I will choose to visit one more!

What are the opening and closing times for Universal Orlando?

Universal Studios Orlando's park hours can shift depending on the day and the season. Typically, from September 11 to September 15, 2024, the park welcomes guests from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though these times often change on weekends and during special events. For instance, you might find the park opening a bit later at 9:00 AM and staying open until 6:00 or 7:00 PM on select dates. Plus, keep in mind that Halloween Horror Nights often means the park stays open even later!

Since these hours shift frequently depending on the season and special events, it’s a great idea to check the official website or the Trip.com Universal Orlando page for the most current park hours for Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.

Get Ready for Halloween 2026 at Universal Orlando Resort

Halloween Horror Nights 35 is taking over Universal Studios Florida from August 28 through November 1, 2026! Keep in mind that this is a separately ticketed after-hours event, so your daytime park admission won't get you into HHN. We’re celebrating the event’s massive 35th anniversary this year, featuring the return of icons Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow!

  • Tickets: Single-night tickets start at about A$128. Want to get a head start on the scares? The Scream Early add-on begins at A$100. For those looking to skip the lines, Express Passes start at A$243, while multi-night passes are available starting at A$329.
  • Haunted houses: 10 in total. Our IP-based houses feature Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness. For our original houses, get ready for Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control, Cybergoria, INVASION: Alien Abduction, MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, and H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular.
  • Get ready for a fright! Our scare zones include the Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, Downtown Clowntown, Fortnitemares, and the Sideshow of Decay. Plus, don't miss our street experiences like Club Horror, Mel’s Die-In, and the Chainsaw Hordes.
  • Catch these thrilling live shows: Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir and Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins.

Pro tip: Get there early! Weeknights in September are much quieter, but if you're planning to visit on a busy October night, an Express Pass is a total lifesaver. Be sure to book your tickets in advance—these event dates sell out fast!

When you're buying Universal Studios Orlando tickets, keep in mind that prices can shift based on the season, the type of pass you choose, and how many days you plan to visit. Generally, 1-day and 2-day tickets are perfect for quick getaways, while multi-day options like the 14-day Park-to-Park ticket are a fantastic choice for longer adventures. To truly make the most of your trip, we highly recommend grabbing a Park-to-Park ticket if you want to hop between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on the same day—it's the only way to experience the magical Hogwarts Express ride between the parks!

The Universal Express Pass is a fantastic add-on that lets you breeze past the regular lines for most attractions at Universal Studios Orlando, cutting down your wait time significantly. It’s a total game-changer during peak seasons when the parks are buzzing with excitement! You have two great options to choose from: the standard Express Pass, which lets you skip the line once per ride, and the Express Unlimited Pass, which gives you unlimited line-skipping access for every ride throughout the day. It’s the perfect way to save hours of waiting, making your adventure much more relaxed and enjoyable.

  • Uber/Lyft: For ultimate flexibility and ease, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are fantastic choices. You'll typically spend between A$40 and A$86, with the final price depending on the time of day and current demand. If you're heading out during off-peak hours, this is a super quick and efficient way to reach Universal Orlando, usually clocking in at just 25-35 minutes. Just keep in mind that prices can jump during peak times, especially on weekends!
  • Taxi: Traditional taxis are available 24/7 from designated pick-up points at the airport. The fare is usually between A$55 and A$72, and it takes about 25-30 minutes to get to Universal Orlando. This is a reliable option if you prefer a standard service over rideshares.
  • Mears Shuttle: Mears runs a convenient shared shuttle service 24/7. It's a budget-friendly choice, costing between A$33 and A$39 per person for a one-way trip, with departures every 30 minutes. Just keep in mind that because it's a shared ride with multiple stops, the journey can take anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes—perfect if you're looking to save a little cash and don't mind a slightly longer, scenic ride!
  • Rental Car: Renting a car is a great option if you're planning to hit multiple attractions around Orlando. Daily rates typically range from A$36 to A$143, depending on the vehicle type and rental company. Just remember to factor in parking fees at Universal Orlando, which run between A$22 and A$40 per day.
