"I took my kids to Meizhou Hakka World for a May Day trip. The hotel environment is very good, clean and bright. The staff's service attitude is also very good. The food is delicious and the price is not expensive. It's especially good! On the way back, I ate at Along Restaurant. The food is delicious and affordable. The Hakka people are very enthusiastic. 5 dishes are only 233 yuan. The quantity is large and delicious! I like Meizhou and will come again next time"

"This time in Meizhou, I decisively chose the newly opened Hampton by Hilton. The experience was absolutely amazing, and I have to give it a thumbs-up! Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the lobby's bright and welcoming design, perfectly in line with Hampton by Hilton's consistent high standards. During check-in, the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and efficient, and she even explained the hotel's amenities and breakfast hours, making for a truly comfortable stay. Now, let's focus on the room! It was truly brand new, and everything from the bedding to the toiletries exuded a clean, high-quality feel. What surprised me most was the intelligent features, including the smart lighting and curtains, which were incredibly convenient. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I couldn't get up from the moment I touched the pillow, which was perfect for a light sleeper like me. The hotel's location is also excellent, with convenient transportation and Wanda Plaza nearby for dining and shopping. The breakfast menu was also extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, and the flavors were excellent, catering to every taste. In short, whether traveling for business or pleasure, the Hampton by Hilton Meizhou is an excellent choice. The service is considerate, the facilities are smart, the environment is comfortable, and the cost-effectiveness is super high. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Meizhou!"

"My first visit to Meizhou City, home of the Hakka people. Stayed in Days Hotel. Supposedly a 4 star hotel, this place offers great value for your stay. The room is large by comparison. The hotel has a laundry room on the second floor and all you have to do it to pop your laundry into the washer and leave a note with your room number and type of wash. An attendant will finish off the wash and dry cycle, fold your clothes and deliver them to you packed nicely in a laundry bag. Free! My travelling friend complained about the smell of smoke in his room. Hotel was apologetic and arranged a nicer (larger) room for him immediately. Manager on duty gave special attention to us and chatted with us whenever he saw us. Talk about personalised service. Location wise, I find Days to be rather close to all the sightseeing and food places I earmarked. As the city does not have a subway and the bus comes in rather long intervals, the location becomes more important. Fortunately, ride hailing is easy and cheap in Meizhou. I plan to return to Meizhou again in the future. Definitely staying in Days again."

"I was on a business trip to Meizhou, and the hotel was very nice. It was clean and tidy, and I felt very comfortable. The decor was new, and breakfast was provided. There was a large-screen Xiaomi TV, and the air conditioning was very powerful. The location was convenient, with free parking and restaurants nearby. The water pressure in the shower was also strong enough. It was a great hotel and I would highly recommend it."

"This was our first time visiting Meizhou; understand this hotel was opened 6 weeks ago (early Oct). The rooms were good size, beds & pillows were firmed, showers had great water pressure. However, their air conditioning weren’t working so we had to open the windows and curtains — the hotel across had lots of lights and the streets are noisy so we weren’t able to sleep well. We also picked to have buffet breakfasts at the hotel which was supposed to be available from 7 am to 10 am. They were still bringing out foods out at 7:15 am. Selections were ok but coffees made from the coffee machines were not hot enough. Overall happy with our stay of 2 nights."

"The room was very quiet, and they arranged it exactly as we requested, meeting all our expectations. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was a bit too powerful. Right downstairs, there's a street full of restaurants, which was super convenient for grabbing late-night snacks with the kids."

They upgraded both of our rooms to Executive Deluxe, and every single staff member — from the driver, reception team, to the housekeeping staff — was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. The people of Meizhou are so warm and genuinely appreciative of Hakka descendants returning to their roots. You can really feel a special, divine energy in this beautiful province. You MUST try the hotel’s restaurant — absolutely delicious and authentic Hakka cuisine! And the buffet breakfast was amazing too! We are soooo happy and grateful! Thank you so much for making our trip home to our motherland even more wonderful. 💛✨🇨🇳"

"The room is in the town, with a villa architectural design. The roof is tiled on the 5th floor. The hygiene is OK, but it smells a bit musty. It may be because there are many wooden furniture in the room. The ventilation is not timely and it is a bit damp. It may be because the guests who stayed all day just checked out. It can be seen that the details of management are not detailed. The staff who clean the room should be required to ventilate the room after cleaning it, and spray it with aromatherapy. It is recommended to add a disposable shaver or razor instead of some bagged coffee, and it is better to add one or two bags (the cover can be advertised); it is recommended that tourists living in the town must check in before 9 pm, otherwise you can't see the performance inside! Overall, the experience is still very good, especially the ticket to the town is free, otherwise it is not worth the room price!"

"The hotel is decorated in a high-end style. The furniture and beds are all made of solid wood. The room is big enough, clean and odorless. The service attitude is very good. My child is not used to eating outside, so they specially served white porridge for my child. Thanks to the beautiful sisters in the restaurant. Because we were in a hurry to catch a flight, they specially prepared lunch for us in advance. Thank you. I will choose this place again next time I travel. It is also convenient to enter and exit and is close to the airport."
