I was so surprised to find a hotel in France that offers free tissues, disposable slippers, unlimited bottled water, and hot coffee! It's super close to the train station, just around the corner, which is perfect if you're planning to visit Monaco or other nearby places. The hotel breakfast was also delicious; every little pastry was perfectly crispy, and the yogurt was great. The only downside is that it can get noisy at night if your room faces the street, so it's not ideal if you're an early sleeper. Also, be aware that they require a deposit upon check-in, and you can only pay by credit card – no cash or Apple Pay. Finally, Trip.com customer service was excellent 👍

We had a truly wonderful stay at Maison Albar Hotels Le Victoria.
Upon arrival, we were thoughtfully upgraded to a single-occupancy room for our 3-night stay, as the twin room category was fully booked — a gesture we really appreciated. The room itself was exceptional. The mattress and pillows were among the most comfortable we’ve experienced, ensuring a great night’s rest throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the balcony, which added a relaxing touch to the overall experience.
The service was outstanding — attentive, warm, and consistently professional. The team truly made us feel well taken care of.
Location-wise, it is perfectly positioned in the heart of the city. Luxury boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Balenciaga are just a few steps away, with many other shops and attractions within easy walking distance — extremely convenient for both shopping and exploring.
The only area for improvement would be the gym facilities, which are relatively limited. However, we easily found a well-equipped local gym just a 2-minute walk away, offering a great alternative with a more complete setup and lively atmosphere.
Overall, a fantastic stay with comfort, service, and location all coming together beautifully. We would definitely return. ✨

Guest UserMy stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel, nestled in Nice’s Carré d’Or, was pure bliss. Just steps from the Promenade des Anglais, the location is unbeatable. My Deluxe room was incredibly spacious, big, and super comfy, with a plush bed and sleek marble bathroom. The staff, were warm and attentive, making every moment seamless. Pet-friendly perks and a fair-trade espresso machine added a special touch. This elegant, modern haven is a Riviera gem—I’m already dreaming of my next visit! 🤩

Guest UserThe hotel elevator is very vintage; it was my first time riding such an old-fashioned lift. The hotel is located in an alley, making it not particularly easy to find late at night. Once we finally found it, our family was the only one checking in, yet we waited for about 20 minutes just to get our room cards. I'm not sure why we were left hanging there waiting for a room at 9 PM... Also, the pillows and bed were uncomfortable; the pillows felt all lumpy.

naaaeThis was a stylish hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay!
Unlike in Japan, amenities like bathrobes, loungewear, and slippers weren't provided. However, I was grateful that the hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all L'Occitane products.
The power outlets require you to push the plug firmly all the way in. I brought two types of adapters, but one of them didn't work with these outlets.
There was a water dispenser in the hallway, which was really helpful for refilling my water bottle.
The cleaning staff were very kind and flexible, for example, they were able to just exchange the towels when I requested it.
The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right in front, a tram station nearby, and easy access to the ocean!

Guest UserOverall, my experience at Hôtel Monsigny in Nice was fantastic! My friend and I stayed for 5 nights. With the heatwave in France this year, air conditioning was crucial, and the AC in our room was incredibly powerful, making it very comfortable to stay indoors despite the muggy weather. The room itself was spacious, with plenty of storage and room to move around. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and provided attentive service. I stayed on the first floor and had to carry my own luggage up the stairs, which was a bit tough with heavy bags, but other than that, there were no downsides. The location is convenient for getting around, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Nice.

Fantastic Hotel with a Great Location and Excellent Service
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance. The sea, the city center, and excellent transport links are just a 15-20 minute walk away. If you’re up for a bit of travel, the nearby train station makes it incredibly easy to reach Monaco, Cannes, or other destinations. There are also plenty of local shops nearby where you can buy food and essentials.
The service truly exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and friendly the staff were. The room was small—perhaps even tiny—but for a short stay of 3-4 nights, it was absolutely fine since I didn’t spend much time in the hotel anyway. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and even changed the towels every day, which was another pleasant surprise.
One of the absolute highlights of my stay was the amazing breakfast. The variety was incredible—different kinds of cheese, appetizers, sweet and savory options, and fresh juices. The breakfast was top-level, and I honestly felt full for most of the day!
Another great convenience was that after checking out, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel until the evening. Since we had a late flight, this was incredibly helpful—we were able to enjoy the city for the whole day and just pick up our bags before heading to the airport.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future. A huge thank you to the staff for their outstanding service!

The hotel room was okay, but the front desk staff's actions really made me suspect hidden racial discrimination.
We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM. We were very tired from an early morning flight that was delayed, so we asked if we could check in early. The front desk immediately told us we had to wait until 3 PM.
My friend and I went out for lunch and returned to the hotel around 1:30 PM to ask again if we could check in. The answer was still that we had to wait until 3 PM. We had no choice but to sit in the hotel lobby and wait.
While waiting, we noticed other Asian guests also waiting, who had also been told they couldn't check in early. However, at the same time, non-Asian guests continuously came to the front desk and were able to check in early without any issues.
We inquired again, and the front desk explained it was due to different room types. But after we asked them to check the system again, the staff immediately gave us our room keys. This clearly showed that rooms were available at the time, and it wasn't a case of no rooms at all 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I can't be 100% certain this was racial discrimination, but when almost all the guests waiting in the lobby were Asian, while non-Asian guests could check in early, it's really hard not to suspect such differential treatment. The entire check-in experience was very poor, and I hope the hotel treats every guest fairly.

ChuWLThis hostel is conveniently located just 5-10 minutes from Nice-Ville station and is perfect for making trips to nearby cities and towns such as monte-carlo and menton.
There are also many food options near the hostel and its is conveniently located near the city centre and also the beach.
The locker is spacious and hangers are provided for you as well. Luggage storage before and after check-out is free so that is a big plus.
Somethings about the hostel are bothersome such as the triple-deck bed. This triple deck bed is so wobbly that the whole bed shakes at the slightest movement such as turning your body or even just lying down or sitting up. This experience required everyone to have minimum movement throughout the night. The bottom bedframe being slightly curved shows that the bed obviously needs to be attached to the wall for better stability and support.
The top bunk of this triple-deck is also not fitted with a nightlight and charger. This means that if you sleep on the top bunk, not only can you not see, you also do not have the convenience of charging your appliances while sleeping. This also means that this third deck is not part of the original bedroom design.
The bathroom is a tiny bit mouldy and there is minor drainage smell but it is manageable so long as you keep the door closed.
Overall, it is a nice hostel and the convenience to nearby towns, Nice city centre, and old Nice, makes up for the terrible triple-decker bed that honestly just should not exist and also seems like a last minute addition for more profit.

QiuqiubeifengguapaolemaThe room I received didn't match the photos. I booked the 'Sea View Executive Room' based on the pictures, but the room they gave me was more aligned with a room type that's 700-800 CNY cheaper. While it was on a higher floor, it wasn't what was advertised. I tried to resolve this with the front desk, but they couldn't switch me to the room type shown in the pictures. They ended up giving me a 50 Euro credit on my bill. Overall, the front desk service was mediocre, and their problem-solving skills were lacking. I suggest the official website update their room type photos to accurately reflect what guests will receive to avoid similar misunderstandings.
The sea view room faced a busy highway, so it was quite noisy. The hotel's private beach was also closed off with caution tape.
Breakfast was disappointing, not much variety and didn't taste good.
Would not recommend.
