"As great as the reviews say this hotel is! The rooms are exactly as pictured, clean and tidy, with a very lovely timeless aesthetic. The service is top notch; any time we asked for something, the staff would send it up right away. Everyone was very friendly and it’s located close enough to the main streets that everything was within a 15 min walking distance (including the train station) but also in a quieter street so it wasn’t noisy in the mornings and evenings. The air conditioning in the room was very nice as well. My partner and I were very pleased with our stay and would be more than happy to return!"

"After a mistake of booking an accommodation in Cannes, I had to urgently book Hotel 66 Nice just one day in advance to salvage my own clumsy mistake. The room was simple and no frills, but fully complete with what one needs for a short stay. The front desk was fantastic in making me feel so welcomed - particularly Aziz, who gave fantastic recommendations and tips to get around the city. Located within walking distance to the train station, and highly walkable to many sites in Nice, the location was perfect. Additional amenities like free water and coffee being 24/7 available in the pantry was a nice perk too. Super super worthwhile for the price with what you get back in service, location and amenities."

"The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The design is very stylish and appealing. Breakfast was absolutely superb! Everything was served hot, and I particularly loved their bread – genuinely delicious. Service was excellent too, and their recommendations were spot on. The hotel feels very new, and there's a supermarket conveniently located right downstairs."

"My stay at Hotel Saint Gothard is pleasant, nice and enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent as it is near the shopping area. For cleanliness it is average, aircon is old and quite dusty. The daily cleaning service is slow as not complete when I went back for afternoon rest. Snacks, drinks and food can get easily near the hotel. Environment is quiet and peaceful which allow a good rest. It also had a small balcony which personally I find a nice place to have a drink. Overall, I enjoyed staying in this hotel with the price being reasonable."

"Stayed with my daughter (21) in August 2025 for 2 nights. The hotel is cozy, clean, conveniently located (near the sea and the central square). In principle, the service and the hotel left a rather positive impression. But there were also negative aspects: 1) very poor soundproofing; several times at night we were woken up by the sounds of opening and closing doors in neighboring rooms; 2) we did not have a refrigerator in the room (for cooling drinks (although, of course, cold water was always available in the general area; and there was even sparkling water); 3) beach towels could only be taken for money at the reception (5 € per day)."

"Very clean hotel and the reception is very helpful. Nonetheless, I had a very bad experience with Trip.com - where we needed to modify our booking from 2 nights to 1 night, and the hotel is supportive, but Trip.com was not able to send our request to the hotel (it seems nor did they have interest to help with this), despite that I spent 2 hours at night and half an hour in the morning asking them to send my request over the phone. Overall I am quite happy with the hotel, but very disappointed with Trip.com and would alert those who are planning to use this App/website in the future."

SSurajnThe location is near the Nice airport, which is very convenient. The tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, so you have easy access to the airport, and to the city centers of Nice, Cannes and other locations. The hotel, overall, was clear. They did a good job with the rooms, which were fairly spacious, only there was a bit of confusion about which glass bottles were clean or dirty outside, near the water machine, which is the only way you can get drinking water for the room. The clean bottles were supposed to be on top of the machine outside, near the elevator, but I was unsure if those bottles were actually clean. The service was very good, the team at the front desk was very helpful. There was a small scare when we first arrived, as the hotel said that they did not have our booking in their system (which I had fully paid for in advice, on Trip.com). They made a few phone calls, and we managed to get the 2 rooms that we booked for the five of us (2 adults, 3 children). I should point out that they said I was lucky that they had their last 2 rooms available, which they keep for such emergencies. I did not pay for breakfast, but we did eat the breakfast there twice, and if one adult buys the breakfast (19 euros), then the children are free. That worked well for us, and the children enjoyed the breakfast, as did the adults. There is a swimming pool, which is a small to medium size, and although we didn't use it, saw that many others were enjoying the pool. The gym was a decent size, but there were no free weights, which I like to use, so I did not use the gym. The restaurant connected to the hotel is only open Monday to Friday, and the menu is limited. There is not a great selection of restaurants nearby, but you can order in from others further away, though you will find that they make mistakes. Overall, a good choice for a reasonable hotel near the airport with good access to the cities around.

GGuest UserAdvantages: It is very convenient to walk to the hotel in 5 minutes by L2 line. The hotel is very close to T1, 5 minutes walking distance. We took the flixbus next to T1, which is very convenient. If you don't have to stay at the beach to see the scenery, you can stay in this hotel all the time. It takes only half an hour to take the L2 line to the coastline, which is quite convenient. Moreover, this hotel is at least half the price of the hotels on the beach, but the facilities are much newer than the hotels of the same price on the beach.

However, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed by the level of customer service provided during my stay. From the moment I checked in on a rainy day in Nice, the hotel's thoughtful amenities like umbrellas for in-house guests and the warm availability of coffee and tea made a significant difference. These small gestures of hospitality were not only practical but also deeply appreciated. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the exceptional service from the reception staff. AAnonymous UserThe hotel location is strategic, just a 5-minute walk from Nice Saint-Augustin train station. The tram to the airport is free from Grand Arenas station, making transportation very convenient. We booked a Mountain View Twin Room but were given a lower-quality room instead (please refer to the photo). Additionally, we had to request a room change due to a serious bed issue—the mattress was split in half, which was quite shocking as they were still using a damaged mattress for guests. To their credit, the front desk responded immediately and changed our room. However, the new room still did not meet our expectations. The bed quality was poor, too soft, and provided no proper back support. Breakfast was also disappointing, with very limited options. The only hot food available was scrambled eggs and sausages, while everything else was cold. Coffee and juice were from a machine, which didn’t add much to the experience. Overall, the stay was tolerable for the price, but definitely not worth it given the quality of the rooms, beds, and breakfast. Would not recommend unless you’re on a very tight budget.

They were given a room on the first floor overlooking the courtyard, which had air conditioning and had no view. The hotel does not pull on four stars, a maximum of three.Next time I would definitely not stay at this hotel.

AAnonymous UserIbis Nice-Center Notre-Dame really exceeded my expectations for an Ibis property. The daily breakfasts (while the items didn’t change much) had an adequate spread with very lovely cut fruit, pastries, excellent nuts and seeds selection with yogurt and an egg boiling station which you could make eggs as how you would like them. Their coffee and tea machines were excellent and they even had a cocktail hour with free pastries and bonbons in the late afternoon if you ever wanted a quick snack. The location was excellent. The hotel was on a perpendicular street to the Main Street with the tram line and shopping streets. Lots of eateries around and proximity to the train station meant we were able to go for day trips to Cannes and Monaco with very little hassle. The bathroom was very spacious and I loved that our room had 2 balconies - one in the main room and one opens in the bathroom which helped to keep it dry and not humid after a hot shower. View from our room looked into the next residential building but we didn’t mind that. I often sat on the balcony to enjoy my hot coffee in the cool mornings. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and look forward to retuning in the years to come.

GGuest UserA small, pleasant hotel a few meters from the sea promenade. There are restaurants in the vicinity and 2 supermarkets opposite the hotel. Distance from the railway station 15 minutes on foot, from the tram from the airport 8 minutes on foot. The hotel rooms are smaller, which is standard in France. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful, on the last day we got breakfast at 6:00 a.m., despite the fact that it was officially only from 7:30 a.m. The hotel provides luggage storage for early arrival or late departure. We got a free upgrade to a superior room facing the courtyard. The room is new, clean, comfortable. The bathroom is also small but clean and well equipped. Cleaning and towel change was done every day and the cleaning was detailed. The breakfast was excellent (yogurts, cereals, ham, cheese, sausages, scrambled eggs, croissants, cakes, fruit, fruit puree, jams,...), the weak link was the coffee. The drip coffee in a thermos was weak, the coffee from the machine (cappuccino, latte, cocoa) was made of powder. At the bar, they have an espresso machine, with such a small number of guests, the bartender would surely manage to make everyone a normal high-quality espresso, and the guests would appreciate it.
