InterContinental Bali Sanur Resort Reviews

Service is good. Pool is nice. Spa is comfortable. Beach restaurant got good ambience.  Bathroom lack of hot water. Bugs in room.

Perfectly located with direct access to the beach and extensive beach walkway. The swimming pool and breakfast are both outstanding. Without forgetting the smile and kindness of the hotel team.

Very disappointed! The beach is dirty and they don’t clean it . Impossible to swim . We should walk to another hotel near by to swim . By the beach only IC haven’t clean it , the rest of hotels have care about it . The breakfast was the same every day and not that much choices in my opinion. For the price we paid it’s just not worth it. The room is nice and big. But in our room somehow the hot water wasn’t working and they couldn’t fix it . I couldn’t enjoy their bathtub as well . Not recommended!! We paid more than 350$ per night and couldn’t not enjoy beach and not even hot water in shower . Very.. very disappointing!!

Massive resort, rooms very nice, staff super friendly and helpful and go above and beyond. Location right on the water front and very relaxing and peaceful. No annoying constant street vendors trying to sell you crap etc etc. appeals to the higher and upper end or families and doesn’t have the bogan feel other areas have. So the negatives would be resort is so large to walk to your room to the beach is quite a trek. The pool is not very well catered for the resort as it’s so big and I would guess has a few thousand guest capacity and yet only 30 seats at pool side - doesn’t make sense. Also there’s no real Swimming area at the beach as it’s full of tied up boats, nice to look at but not really a swimming beach so heavily rely on having a well catered pool area with seating, which were limited.  But overall having stated these 2 negatives I would still highly recommend as it was pleasant place to stay and had a very relaxed vibe.

Everything is fine except that the water heater was suddenly out of order so that we could not enjoy bathing in the bathtub leaving us with some regrets

overall experience was great, just breakfast needs a to be more options than daily potatoes... such as needs more greens

We chose this hotel as it’s close to the pier to Nusa Penida. Overall a nice hotel with friendly staff but the hotel is a little bit old.

Except low wifi connection. All was perfect

I booked a 6-night stay in a sea-view room at the InterContinental Hotel! The service and facilities were good, and the location was excellent, right near Sanur Marina! However, there were too many small insects in the room, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor, making for a very uncomfortable stay! Everything else was fine! So, it depends on your individual needs when choosing this hotel.

A wonderful hotel on the beachfront with a large Olympic-size pool. Delicious and varied breakfast. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English.

I have lived in InterContinental for so many years, but this is really the worst experience. The room facilities are old and the service is not perfect. For more than 3,100 yuan a night, this experience is really speechless. It just has the name of InterContinental, but it does not have any InterContinental service and value.

The room is big but the facilities are old and the management is also lame. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 and waited for two and a half hours before checking in. I waited for an hour to get a afternoon tea. All snacks and drinks in the room are charged. There are many details of the room facilities that need to be repaired. The courtyard door cannot be closed. The roof leaks when it rains heavily. The water is covered with tiles when taking a shower, and the water overflows. The tiles must be moved away by hand, revealing a very disgusting sewer outlet. The porcelain bottle of shower gel is placed on a high marble countertop and is very slippery. When taking a shower, I accidentally broke one by slipping and pressing it. I originally planned to compensate, but the hotel said that the bottle costs nearly 250 yuan, which is really outrageous. Although the hotel did not enforce compensation when I left the hotel later, it sent another email the next day to remind me that I broke their shower gel bottle and reminded me to compensate, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

This hotel was so satisfying during my stay!🤍 I've been to other resorts in the Sanur area, but Intercon felt very private, so I think it was good to go with my boyfriend :) First of all, the room was very spacious, so it would be great for a honeymoon, and the room cleanliness, staff friendliness, and facilities were all satisfactory! I think I'll visit again next time I go to the Sanur area٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ Good!
