Overall, the standard is incredibly high! It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The public bath facing the sea 🌊 is an absolute must-try. You can give the Japanese set dinner a try; don't set your expectations for the taste too high, but the ambiance is quite nice.

The room was very spacious and clean, and the front desk staff helped carry our luggage to the room. They were also very clear and helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was just okay, not particularly delicious, but not bad either – pretty uninspired. The only downside was the hotel's somewhat remote location. There's no shuttle bus to Beppu Station, so you have to take public transportation or a taxi to get to the Seven Hells. Most resort hotels in Japan offer station pick-up/drop-off, so it was a bit disappointing that this one didn't.

The service was incredibly attentive. Since it's in a new building, the facilities are also brand new. The view is unbeatable, and I'll definitely stay here again. Just a heads-up: after September 1, 2025, any additional towels or bottled water beyond what's provided in the room will incur an extra charge.

The room was fantastic! It's brand new and fully equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find it even had a mini-kitchen! Since the room comes with its own hot spring bath, the dressing table was exceptionally large, which is a wonderful feature for women. All the services were excellent; I couldn't fault them. The only minor point was that dinner was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite measure up to other hot spring hotels I've experienced. The flavor was a peculiar sweet and savory mix, which might be typical of the local cuisine. Breakfast, however, was quite varied and definitely a highlight!

This is an excellent hotel. The staff, from various nationalities, were all fantastic. The front desk staff provided a detailed overview of the hotel and room amenities. The private in-room onsen was also a wonderful highlight. Breakfast offered a good variety. I would absolutely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Beppu.

Our room had large cockroaches. While the hotel staff dealt with it promptly, my child was scared to tears. The lack of any compensation significantly diminished our overall experience.

The hotel offers stunning sea views and natural hot springs, with the added luxury of a private in-room hot spring bath overlooking the ocean. Our room provided the absolute best spot to watch the sunrise. It's truly a great value-for-money hotel, and the breakfast was excellent!

A truly renowned hotel in Beppu! It boasts a fantastic resort atmosphere, and personally, I find it far superior to Hoshino Resorts Kai. The staff are incredibly polite, warm, and friendly. Their breakfast is absolutely delicious and a definite must-try! While the location might be a bit out of the way, everything else more than makes up for it. The amenities are superb, no need to elaborate. For its price point (3000+), it truly delivers on all fronts. Beppu itself is a tranquil and romantic seaside city. You can just soak in the onsen, gaze at the sea, and simply relax. It's incredibly comfortable!

The room cleanliness, as always, was up to Japanese standards. View: The sea view was quite unremarkable. Service: It was just average. Perhaps due to a language barrier, we didn't receive much assistance. Chinese-speaking staff were only available after 10 AM local time and seemed to leave their shift quite early. Facilities: They were standard. The door used a traditional key, which felt quite dated. No one informed me that I needed to double-lock the door when leaving. Luckily, I always make a habit of checking if a door is properly locked by giving it a tug, and that's how I discovered this oversight. Overall, the price during the summer holiday simply wasn't worth it.

A distinctive resort hotel in Beppu, located approximately 4 km from the city center. It's surrounded by popular sushi restaurants where you might have to queue, along with a KFC. The hotel rooms are exceptionally comfortable, each equipped with a living room, a traditional Japanese-style room (washitsu), a balcony, and a private open-air onsen. This allows guests to enjoy a hot spring bath directly on their balcony while admiring the stunning sea views. The hotel's public baths are also a major highlight. These natural hot springs offer a truly unique experience, particularly the outdoor bath where you can soak while facing the ocean. For breakfast, a delicious traditional Japanese-style spread is served. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel that offers a truly memorable stay.

This is one of Beppu's most renowned onsen hotels, and I was extremely satisfied with my choice for this trip. The rooms were spacious, the facilities were excellent, and it truly had a resort-like ambiance. You can even soak in the hot springs while enjoying stunning ocean views. The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse and plentiful, offering both traditional Japanese dishes and Western options like omelets. I'll definitely be returning for another stay.

I found the public onsen small not enough facilities and amenities. Befire, all other onsen I stayed usually provide drinks juices and ice cream. but here, after the sauna I didn't see a bottle of water !. and the rubbish bin for so full and the water refill was empty. secondly, we booked dinner 2 x but the food is just average and the size portion is small. not as good as others I stayed before in Japan.

Booked this place immediately after seeing it on a social media app, and I wasn't disappointed! The views are absolutely stunning when the weather is good. Breakfast was also quite nice. Since there are so many dinner options in Beppu, we decided not to have dinner at the hotel.
