Road Lodge Bloemfontein Airport ★
"It was a good stay over. Room smelt a little too much like someone had smoked in the room. Other than that a good stay."
Protea Hotel Bloemfontein Willow Lake ★★★★
"Stopped for one night on a long road trip and chose this hotel for its location and comfort, but value for money fell short. Staff were pleasant and moved us to a second room after we reported the weak aircon, however the aircon was inadequate in both rooms and we ended up with a poor night’s sleep. The hotel itself feels dated and lacking upkeep, common areas aren't inviting and it seems overdue for a refresh. For a 4-star property at these rates, the overall quality didn’t match expectations. Renovations seem to be underway, so hopefully this improves for future guests."
Protea Hotel by Marriott Bloemfontein ★★★★
"Our visit and our stay at protea hotel Bloemfontein was excellent. Elizka and Thabiso welcomed us by warm welcoming. And also warm welcomingness in the restaurant, Tsepang on the food dinner and breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room on arrival, the room was clean and neat ready for us. On our departure at the reception, they were very helpful. In this regard. I recommend everyone to come and visit here. From Aaron Selepe."
Villa Bali Luxury Guesthouse ★★★★
"Villa Bali provides all the comforts of home, with little extra attention to guest satisfaction. The Concierge was warm and welcoming, and was proactive in providing for additional requirements without even having to ask or remind him."
Cottonwood Guesthouse Oasis ★★★★
"This was my first time sleeping in Bloemfontein and I will genuinely commend the establishment for taking good care of us. Beautiful place, very intimate. Little cracks here and there, they can improve (I'm sure they fixed the minor issue) however I'm not complaining at all. Big ups to Cottonwood. Thank you."
Tredenham Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"Today I will like to mark this day as one of my Best experience I ever had in this establishment, from Reception the Gentleman by name of Katleho, Very professional, hospitable, friendly, welcoming wooooww I am sooo excited, Dining Department also another Katleho very polite, hospitality High Level, Those Kitchen Staff who are behind Doors are amazing Food Top Noch, I enjoyed my Penne pasta, friends had steaks all good. Everything was Top class, Property very Clean woooooww Best Hospitality. Kind regards Rosinah"
Bon Hotel Bloemfontein Central ★★★
"Look into your cooking style especially food prepared for dinner. I was not impressed by the kind of meat I ate for the whole week as I was conducing training in FS."
City Lodge Hotel Bloemfontein ★★★
"From the friendliest staff welcoming you, to the amazing dinner and best service in the restaurant, to the comfiest bed and superb room to overnight in!! Everything was top notch and I would definitely recommend City Lodge Bloemfontein as a must!"
Premier Splendid Inn Bloemfontein ★★★
"The front desk was friendly and professional. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas. The breakfast was rich in variety and the transportation was convenient. The overall experience was excellent and it is worth recommending. The only drawback is that breakfast ordering is not supported on Ctrip, and breakfast needs to be purchased separately at a price of 210 rand."

B&B at Bloem
"Never book with Agoda travel Agents NEVER. We booked at this guesthouse while traveling thru Agoda, the guesthouse replied immediatly that they are fully booked, Agoda ignored the email, and still debit the amount from bank card, we arrived just to find out they fully booked, we were stranded and had to drive in the middle of the night to our next destination. Since the 28 of March 2026 we try to get a refund from Agoda with no luck. I went on facebook and there are litteraly 100 and 100 of people that lost money to Agoda due to this bad service. So please dont make the same mistake and loose money to Agoda scammers. Booking never took place because fulle booked, but i paid for it. Invoice attached"
Bains Lodge
"Very disappointing. Booked on the back of the previous rooms on offer. Those buildings were sold and the offer is now in inferior rooms."
Altissimo Guesthouse
Angels Haven Guesthouse

"Enjoy my stay every time. Very clean and comfy. Great hospitality and fantastic people. Great location and breakfast."
Bayswater Lodge
"Very well run, attention to detail and very homely feel. Hosts were wonderful. Comfortable, clean and a definite recommend"
Oakwood Lodge
"It was written in a good position, but it seemed a little isolated, good for those who go in the car."
City Living Boutique Hotel
"Recently I stayed at City Living and I have only good things to say about it. It met all my expectations. The location is good as there are restaurants and a shopping mall nearby. Places that I needed to visit were close by. Staff were super pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. "
Southern Sun Bloemfontein
"This hotel, compared to the other Southern Sun hotels we have stayed at recently , is definitely not at the same high expected level. Rooms are quite outdated and are not kept extremely clean. Staff are available and visible, but they are not very friendly or keen to assist guests. The pool and garden area is beautiful and peaceful, but you wait a long time to get a waiter to assist with drinks and snacks. The hotel has direct access to the Mimosa Mall, which is a great benefit and super convenient."
Belmont Guesthouse
"Overall god value for money. Well received and the room was comforAble and can be recommended at any time."
Blue Rain Guesthouse
"One of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed in (and we own our own!!) From the efficient and friendly booking experience with Marianne, to the superb comfort of the room, and ending off with a FABULOUS full breakfast, we literally cannot fault this establishment! A homely feel with lovely special touches, it’s an absolute bargain at the price! AND doggie friendly too!!"
Tsessebe Guesthouse
Jock-Inn Guest House
"It was comfortable, especially since we didn't have to share beds — everyone had their own." Warm beds was extra special. "
Primavera Guest House
"Beautiful, cosy house with spotless rooms and an amazing breakfast. The hosts offer true Freestate warmth and genuine hospitality. It’s officially our new home away from home in Bloemfontein. Highly recommended!"
