"The hotel as such is incredibly clean that the staff is very friendly, breakfast could improve and have a little more variety, the staff attention if it is first. But I have to make a note in front of the place this remains in a place called a free zone, which is a conglomerate of customs shops, for this reason at the entry of this place there is a security service that is served by porters very gross, it is a trouble to have to register passport card every time you enter and leave and that the services of Taxi Uber cannot enter and have to register and you cannot enter with the transport by putting your safety at risk. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I would recommend that you notice the guests of these disadvantages."
"The hotel is in their safe zone. There is a small park next to it, which is very safe at night. There is a McDonald's and a seafood restaurant (a little expensive) in the hotel. The hotel room is good, with a good balcony (very convenient for smokers). The only problem is that there is not enough mineral water in the room, only a coffee machine but no kettle. However, there is coffee and water in the lobby. The business area also has a balcony, which is very convenient. The breakfast is also rich... So far, it is the best NH hotel I have stayed in Bogota, comparable to a 5-star hotel... It is also convenient to take Uber wherever I go. I will choose this hotel next time"
"The hotel is at a good location in Chapinero being close to main streets, ATMs, banks, hospitals, etc. The staff was always very warm and respectful. The bed and pillows were very comfy and you can have a good night rest. The wifi is pretty fast once you’re connected. "
"They are not careful to the details in cleaning the place.
The breakfast was always the same and it was not to disgrace you.
I wouldn't come back, but all because I would like to try other options."
"The Faranda Hotel is a good option to stay in the North part of Bogotá. However, the access to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the road work at the moment of writing this review (07/2023). The room was basic/average. The hotel advertised to have a sauna but it did not. The gym was underwhelming. The restaurant looks really nice but the way the breakfast buffet is set is not the best. It look cramped in a small part of the restaurant. The choices for breakfast are very few."
"I was lucky enough to stay at the same hotel as the Independiente Santa Fe football team from Colombia and even managed to get a photo with some of the players! The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, offered a pleasant and quiet environment, making it an excellent choice for business travelers."
"Well, all in general is perfect except the check out that leaves you waiting all the row of those who make check in instead of having a qualified part for those who are already going"
"A beautiful hotel in ideal location.
The hotel is excellent:
- quick settlement
- perfectly clean room
- comfortable temperature
- Great breakfast.
But the main thing is the location, the hotel is in a safe area and a number of restaurants, coffee shops, clubs, shopping centers"

Great
AAnonymous UserRecommended by a client, this hotel is conveniently located about 8 km from the airport, a roughly 20-minute ride-hail away. Getting to surrounding areas by taxi or ride-share is also very convenient. With a police station directly across the street, I felt incredibly safe and secure! P.S. Just a heads-up: many areas in the city center are currently under road and subway construction, leading to significant traffic congestion.
XXiejunwen sevenLocated in the rich area, in the office building, the safety and health of access is tall. There are Japanese dishes downstairs, Mexican dishes, local South American dishes, very convenient, and the service is polite and thoughtful. recommend.
GGuest UserThe best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of food options and great taste as well. They also serve some rrally good Colombian food and soup. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
The room is ok but not impressive. The problem is that they do not provide consistent amenities. We have two rooms booked, with one room has sufficient shampoo and body wash supply as well as coffee machine, the other does not have either. When I called the front desk, they could not help as they did not know where to find the supplies.
Other than the above, the location is very good, conveneint and safe.
GGuest UserGreat location. Breakfast was ok at best, and they were very strict about only offering one hot drink and one water/juice. You had to pay if you wanted a second coffee. No continental offering either. I also had to pay extra to have a side of bacon with french toast. Tried the local breakfast offerings the next day and also not great. On service, they knew the room was for two people but only provided one coffee cup and one glass. The second day they didn’t replace the bath towel. We used the laundry service which was quite slow compared to other hotels that we stayed at in Columbia, but fine apart from being slow. We stayed on the mezzanine level in a queen superior room, the bed was comfy but there was intermittent music blasting from somewhere and the view was of another building so not great. I wish I had paid a bit more and stayed at Click Clack (which was fantastic in Medellin) or the four seasons.
MMileKruminaI stayed at this hotel with my mom. It’s really close to the airport and a few blocks from “El campin stadium” transmilenio station. Also a shopping mall is a few meters away. I stayed on a Wednesday so there wasn’t much music but I can see how it can be quite loud during the weekends as there are many clubs near by. The breakfast was good and the room was okay. I must say that this hotel feels more like a motel or bed and breakfast as it is extremely basic. No decorations or any living areas that are inviting so it’s good just for a night or two but not for a holiday. There isn’t any elevator and no men that can carry your luggage so my mom carried my suitcase up to the third floor and the receptionist and I carried the big luggage up to the room. The water pressure is great and the hotel has hot water. Also there is satellite tv with options in English and Spanish. I have no idea if the hotel staff speaks English or not as I speak spanish. Overall it was good as the area is safe and close to most places I wanted to go like Monserrate.
GGuest UserI really wanted to like this place. I specifically chose it because of its location in La candelaria close to everything and because of it's historical significance as a colonial house with unique decorations and furniture. And that aspect was fine. What was not fine were the rooms. I was first taken to room 19, the last room on the second floor which has a large balcony opening that looks over the courtyard. The problem is that the door does not seal tightly and the weather was quite cold, rainy and damp. The room was freezing and so I asked for a room heater which was inefficient because it did not radiate any heat it just simply warmed up. In addition to that, apparently there was a pigeon nest on the other side of the wall and I can hear them cooing, moving, scratching and chirping. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, she told me about Las Palomas and assured me that they would not make noise at night. I was extremely uncomfortable and freezing cold the entire night and the next day I spoke to the clerk and asked that my room be moved. He agreed and told me to come back at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. I came back at 5:00 and was told by another woman that it would not be possible for my room to be moved and after I explained the situation she brought me to room 18 right next door. It seemed fine and I agreed to stay there. It rained overnight and when I woke up in the morning the nightstand next to the bed was soaking wet. The roof had leaked onto the nightstand.. Thank goodness my phone was not there. In addition there was a light outside the door that kept blinking on and off and was very disturbing. At that point I asked for my room to be changed again and I was brought downstairs a very nice large room, which they called a suite, although it was really just one large room. That room was warmer and much more comfortable. I stayed there another two nights. Meals were taken outside with a plexiglass covering to shield against the rain. It was very cold outside and as mentioned before the weather was damp and rainy. The food was homemade which was nice, but it was the same menu every day. I specifically wanted to mention Erika. She was very sweet and did whatever she could to accommodate me, but the house is really in need of maintenance, and because of that I would not come here again unfortunately. It has great potential but the weather in Bogota is cold and damp and leaking roofs and drafty windows do not make for a comfortable stay.
GGuest UserLong established downtown hotel (not to be confused with its namesake the Tequendama hotel - one block away). The location is convenient for accessing public transport and the airport - although it can at first feel a little intimidating particularly at night when the area is much quieter and there are not so many options for eating. The hotel itself offers spacious suite style rooms which although a little dated are well maintained and kept very clean. I also was not aware of any noise from other guests. The WiFi was a bit patchy, and the hot water could take a while to work through (possibly because I was on a higher floor).
Breakfast was substantial with a number of local dishes, which for me were a little heavy - so perhaps more lighter options could be considered. I didn't use either the gym or spa so can't comment.
Finally, all of the staff I had contact with were very approachable and professional. I generally communicated in Spanish but I believe that the reception staff at least had English language skills. Overall, I consider that the hotel offered good value for money for the price I paid (c.£43 per night)
AAmybellOur experience was really disappointing, I paid in this platform the full price including taxes and the receptionist charged a double taxes saying was not hee Douro and hotel’s fault just law, here I’ll be adding the capture I took when I bought my service here and it said including taxes, she was so rude and also blaming me for don’t “understand”, read good , don’t understand I had to know they will be charging it , so unprofessional and gross with a client, I’ve been travelling for more than 10 years so try this platform and never had a bad experience till now, I recommend the hotel change their administrative staff they are not the people to treat with other humans. But I have to say the service staff I mean maids and the people in charge of breakfast were awesome, they would fix better in the reception they are so polite and clean, they k it how to respect other people. Gym is so basic but useful, breakfast so delicious, the fudge in the room was broken and no useful and nobody did nothing… last thing they referred my sisters iD, promised to deliver in the room and never did it so we had to go to claim it, this details from the receptionist, that rude woman and the unuseful manager too who said would be reviewing the reservation and who also said we have to claim to the website trip because was trip fault
