Hotel near Sydney Chinatown,Haymarket
Central Studio Hotel Sydney is a contemporary city hotel located directly opposite Central Station, offering unbeatable connectivity across Sydney. Guests can enjoy a direct train to Sydney Airport, easy access to Chinatown, and a short walk or light-rail ride to Darling Harbour, ICC Sydney and the CBD’s shopping and dining precincts. The hotel features modern, air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and rain showers, ideal for both business and leisure travellers. With key attractions, universities and transport hubs right on its doorstep, Central Studio Hotel Sydney is a smart, convenient base for exploring the city.

"Central Studio Hotel Sydney has a great location — close to the CBD, Chinatown, and main Sydney attractions like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic facilities. The room view and window view were nice, giving a good city outlook. The bathroom was clean and modern. The lobby area looked pleasant and had comfortable seating with space to work while waiting. We arrived early around 9 am, though the check-in time was 3 pm, so it’s better for guests to check this beforehand. The front desk team was friendly and arranged early check-in around 12:30–1 pm. There are several small shops and food options nearby, which was convenient. Overall, a good stay and a nice place to explore Sydney. (Room view, bathroom, lobby, and window view photos attached.)"

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThey say Australian hotels have bad service, and I experienced this first-hand. Even at a 5-star hotel, the mini-bar was constantly forgotten during daily cleanings in both rooms I booked, which were on different floors. Also, during breakfast, genuinely friendly staff were few and far between. Out of all the days I stayed, only two female staff members greeted guests with a smile. On April 5th, the front desk was manned by a male attendant in a brown suit, with a brush cut and a beard. My parents arrived before me, so he gave them three English menus. When I arrived, I asked him for a Chinese menu. He said 'okay,' but I waited for a very long time, and he never brought it. During this time, I asked two other staff members about it. I told them I needed a Chinese menu, and they both said 'okay,' but none of them brought it to me. I waited for a very, very long time! I couldn't wait any longer, so I took an English menu myself and went to the front desk to exchange it. As I walked towards the front desk, the same male attendant with the brush cut and beard also walked over. I then told the female attendant at the front desk that I needed a Chinese menu. The male attendant then came over and *actually said* he was also looking for a Chinese menu 🙄. In reality, menus in various languages are usually available at the front desk. And normally, when they check guests in, they ask what language they prefer and provide the appropriate menu. The staff on duty that day hadn't placed Chinese menus on the counter and then delayed providing them when guests asked. I don't want to bring up 'discrimination against Chinese people,' but the attitude of prioritizing foreign guests while neglecting Chinese guests is unacceptable. I will absolutely never choose Capella again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is really easy to find and super convenient for transportation. It's close to Chinatown, which is great for picking up souvenirs, and the transport hub makes getting to the airport or anywhere else a breeze. The facilities are good, and they offer a lot of activities. The overall cleanliness is also quite good. Roommates depend, 99% are pretty nice (some can be a bit noisy).

FForestDrifter⭐Wake Up Sydney has a very convenient location, close to Central Station and within walking distance to many attractions around the city. The staff were friendly and helpful during the stay. However, the shared bathrooms were not very clean and the facilities felt quite old. Soundproofing was also poor, with loud door noises throughout the night. There is a bar downstairs, so I would not recommend this place for anyone who needs a quiet and restful sleep.

GGuest UserWe booked W sydney months in advance with breakfast included and is worth it . Food choices are plenty during breakfast and can order different eggs style and cooking preparation during breakfast and can order different hot or cooled selection of drinks as well. Hotel is clean and location is near china town ,paddys market , and harbour easily accessible to townhall in a walkable distance of 7-10 mins away. There is a fireworks show on saturday night that lasted 5-7minutes.. There are lots of restaurants around the area and ice cream shops as well . There is even a park at the back of the hotel and a playground for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. There is 2 pool in the hotel at 22nd floor and 29th floor .  The hotel is beside  Imax cinema .

GGuest UserThe hotel is very new with top-notch facilities and spacious rooms. The service during check-in was just average, but the staff were very friendly during check-out. I hope the service can be more consistent. Also, the hotel windows need a good cleaning; the view outside is beautiful, but the dirty glass really spoils the experience.

GGuest UserFacilities: The hotel is new and well-equipped. All the in-room amenities are well-maintained and easy to use, making for a very comfortable stay overall. Environment: The environment is excellent – clean and tidy. The surrounding area has all the necessary amenities, and transportation is very convenient, with the subway station just a 3-minute walk away, making it super easy to get around. Service: The service is also top-notch. The staff are warm and professional, making both check-in and communication smooth. They are prompt in responding to any requests, making you feel right at home. The only minor drawback is that it can be a bit noisy at night due to constant traffic, which slightly affected my sleep.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located right in Chinatown, with a supermarket downstairs and plenty of places to eat and grab a coffee. We often went down to the supermarket to buy water, fruit, and snacks. The room was great, and it even had an electric kettle, which was a nice touch.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to St James station, and right next to Westfield and QVB. The room was also quite spacious and comfortable. We opted for a quiet room, but the slight inconvenience was having to take an elevator to the front desk, then walk up stairs to another elevator, which was a bit awkward with luggage.

GGuest UserWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
