Anonymous UserThe hotel environment is comfortable, and there's a good variety of restaurants. The service is very attentive, and they offer a lot of complimentary items. Breakfast is also delicious, with both à la carte and buffet options. The hotel's decor is very new, and the facilities like the pool and gym are all excellent.

Guest UserWe stayed in Room 323, just next to gym and pool room. Was worried with noise as We stayed from Wednesday night till Sunday morning check out. My worries were unfounded. Had a pleasant 4 night stay. Living room was spacious and equipped with a clean kitchen and dining table. Washing machine and dryer are separate and hidden behind door. Useful! Bedroom has a king bed, spacious and comfortable. Aircon control in bedroom is separate. Best location of hotel as surrounded with lots of eateries. We highly recommend Malaysian restaurant selling delicious chicken rice and sambal kangkong! Another shop is Into Laksa. Delicious and reasonably priced. Woolsworth supermarket is just a short walk away!! Meriton Mascot is considered an airport hotel as it’s near airport and just 2 stops to city, circular quay stop. I used the super bus shuttle via klook. Convenient hotel drop off and pick up. Only passengers. No need worry uber driver complained too many luggage. Meriton is kind to load long umbrellas on raining days. Just remember to return after each day use and borrow again the following day. Otherwise you may be charged AUD50 for not returning. They do ask your room number.

Abyss777The hotel's amenities are really subpar; it's nothing like a 4-star hotel. Sofitel properties in China are much better configured. I stayed at their hotels in Sydney and Gold Coast this trip, and I definitely won't be staying with this brand again. The bathroom sink was like something out of a hostel – small, single basin, and so low and shallow that when you wash your face or hands, water splashes all over your waist and stomach. We arrived quite late on the first day, and the air conditioning wasn't central, it was very noisy, and the fridge also made a lot of noise. Plus, we were at the end of a hallway. I contacted Ctrip customer service; we couldn't switch rooms on the second day, but they moved us on the third. However, in the new room, the toilet seat didn't have a soft-close mechanism, so it would either slam shut or just fall down. The towels were placed on a tiny shelf – I don't know if that's a deliberate design choice by the hotel? Anyway, it's hard to put into words… all the rooms are at the end of hallways. I absolutely will not stay at any Sofitel brand hotels again… This is my second time in Australia this year, and it's winter, the off-season. Hotel prices were higher than what I booked in February, and my experiences in Gold Coast and Sydney were disappointing… Cairns was even worse, essentially a hostel-level hotel by Chinese standards, with twin beds less than 1 meter wide each… When booking a hotel, it really has to be an international brand, but Sofitel is a chain, and the one in Sydney was truly bad…

Great for a family trip! The rooms are a bit dated, but not in a worn-out way. It has an old-money vibe with new-money amenities, haha! The breakfast definitely deserves a special mention; it's excellent. I much prefer it to the breakfasts at many other 'star-rated' hotels. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. It’s perfect for family travel, and it’s convenient to walk to many places. The only downside is that it can be noisy at night. The first night, there were police sirens wailing, and on weekends, there's noise from the bars… Aside from the noise, everything else is perfect! If you're exhausted from exploring all day, you'll probably fall right asleep, so it's still a good option.

The hotel is in a great location. Central to circular quay and darling harbour. Very close to wynards train station. Although on a steep road it’s not too far to walk from York street. Everything about the hotel was spotless from having the doors open everytime you entered or left the hotel. The only disappointment for us was the breakfast. We felt for what you are paying for the food wasn’t value for money. All in all a very nice hotel and would reccommend.

IreneZzzzzThe window view was great and the facilities were excellent. However, I arrived early and couldn't check in beforehand. I left my number, and they said they'd call when the room was ready. But I ended up waiting in the lobby until almost 3 PM and had to ask the front desk myself before they told me the room was ready. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.

Guest UserThis is not my first time staying at One Global Resorts Green Square, and it still meets my expectations perfectly. The location is unbeatable, only a short walk to Green Square station with easy transport to CBD and airport. The room is well maintained, clean and fully furnished with kitchen and laundry amenities. Staff are efficient and friendly, shared facilities including pool and gym are kept in great condition. With convenient shops and restaurants nearby, this will always be my top choice when visiting Sydney as a solo traveller

Like: location is perfect, lots of good restaurants around within walking distance.
Dislike: be aware of what street the room facing. It’s loud at night, ppl talk and laugh can hear very clearly.
Services: overall are good, I’ve been staying meriton many times in many locations, but this one Meriton on Kent was disappointing. I’ve asked baby amenities before my trip start but never got any as they promised they’ve been noted and prepared.
Special note: at the checked in they gave us a small room facing loud street and construction site( we booked a higher price of room and staying 5 nights)。
They had originally agreed to change our room. However, due to a communication gap among the staff the next day, it took quite a long time to resolve the misunderstanding before the room change was finally completed.
*the cafe next to Meriton has the best fresh squeeze juice ever, we bought it every morning! And the muffins are my babies favorite!

Anonymous UserOverall, we were very satisfied. The front desk staff were friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine and a card for our anniversary. The room was spacious and bright, with a washing machine and dryer, and all the amenities were excellent. There was also plenty of living room and kitchen space. The location was very close to the railway, with many food options nearby. Although basic cleaning was only provided every four days, it was sufficient. The only drawback was that on our last two nights, we noticed cockroaches crawling out from the drain. I believe they came in because insecticide was placed in the wine, so hopefully, this can be addressed to avoid giving the impression of poor hygiene.
