Dalian Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel is clean, spacious, and conveniently located in the heart of Dalian, with excellent surrounding amenities. It's very convenient for inviting clients, with easy access to and from the airport, and a wide range of choices available. The only minor drawback is that it's on a lower floor, so there can be a bit of noise.

I'd stayed at an Atour 3.5 in Qingdao before, so when I saw this new Atour 4.0 opening in Dalian in 2025, and it was close to Dongguan Street, I booked it well in advance, thinking Atour's service is always great for a trip. I had high expectations, but the actual stay was a bit disappointing. 1. I booked a room without breakfast. Last year, during the off-peak season in September at the Qingdao branch, they directly offered complimentary daily breakfast for two throughout my stay, which was a great experience. This hotel only offered one day of complimentary breakfast for two. I tried the coffee machine in the public area downstairs both morning and evening, but for three consecutive days, there was no milk, so I couldn't make coffee properly. The self-service beverage experience was poor. 2. The room hardware was brand new, and basic cleanliness was acceptable. However, there's still a lot of room for improvement in the maintenance of public facilities and service details. The cleaning staff came daily during my stay and did clear the trash, but they only re-made the bed simply, and visible hair on the bed wasn't cleaned. 3. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear noise from next door. On the last night of my stay, the TV inexplicably turned on by itself in the middle of the night for some unknown reason, severely impacting my sleep experience.

🌟 Five-star review! The hotel experience exceeded my expectations! I originally booked a deluxe scenic suite, but upon check-in, the front desk surprised me with an upgrade to an even more luxurious Executive Ocean View Suite! From the reception on the first floor to the sky lobby on the 66th floor for check-in, every staff member was warm and attentive. The room was incredibly spacious, meticulously cleaned, and absolutely spotless. The high-altitude view was breathtaking, offering panoramic ocean views. I could even see the Venetian Water Town right below – the location is super convenient, very close to Xiding and WHERE·WHERE restaurants. Highly recommended!

The hotel facilities are brand new, clean, and quiet. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation and plenty of great food options. There's even a morning market nearby where you can experience local culture and buy specialties. They offer free umbrella rentals on rainy days, and the TV allows for screen mirroring from your phone. The mattress is very comfortable, just the right balance of soft and firm, and the hairdryer is powerful and efficient! There's also a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient! The front desk even upgraded my room for free! The only minor issue was that the shower drain was a bit slow; by the second night, after showering for about five minutes, the water started to pool around my feet. It definitely needs some clearing!

My stay at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian was fantastic! The hotel looks just like a fairy-tale castle, and the night views are especially enchanting. The room was spacious and comfortable, fully equipped and well-maintained. A special shout-out to the noodle chef at the breakfast restaurant—his service was warm and attentive, he recommended noodle dishes based on my preferences, and the noodles he cooked were exceptionally delicious. Dansey provided thoughtful service, with quality shining through every little detail. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Dalian and will recommend it to my friends. A thoroughly satisfying stay experience!

Highly recommended! Very comfortable for family trips with children. The location is excellent, right next to Exit 4 through the back door. In the evenings, there's live music indoors and a band outdoors. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere from the balcony, and it's vibrant but not noisy. The in-room amenities are quite thoughtful. The tissue brand offers great value for money – soft and dust-free. The air freshener has a pleasant, non-irritating scent, showing careful consideration in procurement. Overall, there are no significant downsides, except for the foot pedal on the bathroom trash can, which is a bit stiff. Upgrading to a better model would be ideal, but it didn't really impact our stay. Additionally, the front desk staff, both men and women, were very diligent and responsible, especially Chow Pak Ho. Since we arrived early in the morning, he promptly arranged our check-in and upgraded our room as soon as a vacant one became available. We are very grateful. Our child had a wonderful time and gained a lot. We plan to come back next summer with friends and their family. We hope the standards are maintained and even improved upon!

Dining:★★★☆☆ * Hotel restaurants and bar offered a nice atmosphere. * Food and drinks were expensive for the portion sizes and overall value. * Ordering through ******* or dining outside the hotel provides better value. Value for Money:★★★☆☆ * The spectacular location justifies part of the cost, but improvements in cleanliness, balcony comfort, breakfast variety, complimentary beach activities, and dining value would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. With a few improvements in comfort, cleanliness, breakfast options, complimentary recreational activities, and pricing, it would provide an even better guest experience.

Overall, it's a pretty good stay! Location: The hotel boasts an excellent, bustling location right at Friendship Square. It's within walking distance to Zhongshan Square, Nanshan Road, and Dalian Department Store, making it very convenient. The rooms are quite spacious, and staying on a high floor offers even better views! Amenities: The facilities are a bit dated and the furniture shows its age, though this doesn't really affect the stay. Right after checking in, we found that the outlet in front of the bathroom mirror had no power—when I finished showering and plugged in the hair dryer, it wouldn't turn on. A maintenance person fixed it later, but the hotel really should inspect essential in-room facilities promptly. Service: First of all, the doorman was completely oblivious to his surroundings! Around 9 AM when we arrived by car, there was no staff member at the front entrance. There's only a single-lane driveway at the entrance, and during peak hours, a van was parked right outside waiting for someone, blocking our way. We honked a few times, but the van wouldn't budge, while the doorman was just standing right nearby and completely ignoring it! I honestly don't know what his purpose is. Secondly, when calling housekeeping from the room phone, you always have to deal with an AI robot first and specifically ask to be transferred to a human agent, which is very inconvenient. Next, after finishing my shower and finding out the hair dryer had no power, I called to request a replacement. After waiting ten minutes with no word, I called again, and someone finally came to knock on the door. When I opened it, the staff member didn't even bring a hair dryer; she just walked straight into the room and told me the bathroom outlet probably had no power—which implies she already knew it was broken and the hotel hadn't fixed it yet! Walking into a guest's room without asking isn't very polite, and I hope they will ask for permission first in the future. However, once she realized there was no power, she happened to run into us the next day after we returned from our outing and let us know that the room outlet had been fixed, which is definitely worth a thumbs-up! Finally, the hotel pool is quite deep! Everyone, please be careful! The deepest part is right in the middle, reaching 1.8 meters! Please stay safe!

Jennie provided excellent service, and check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel is in the city center, and our room overlooked Dalian Labor Park, making getting around very convenient. The front desk even upgraded us to a deluxe suite for free, which was absolutely wonderful. We were extremely satisfied. It definitely improved our impression of Dalian.

I originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
