It was really pleasant to soak in the hot spring and enjoy an iced coffee in the room on a rainy day, especially with Dalian's comfortable weather. Facilities: The room facilities had a charming, retro feel from an earlier era. While a bit old, they were fairly well-maintained. Hot Spring Ticket for Two (Single Entry): The hot spring itself was quite good, though the massage services closed a bit early. Service: Brynn provided attentive and warm service, which definitely enhanced our entire trip. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the scrambled eggs with shrimp from room service were surprisingly good.

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel. Service: Good. The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children. It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'.

The oceanfront high-rise location offers unparalleled views. The room itself is simply decorated yet practical, and having a fridge and washing machine is super convenient for families or long-term business travelers. The lovely lady at the front desk helped me upgrade to a sea-view room, and the housekeeping staff were warm and professional. Excellent value for money!

As a foreign visitor, she helped me sign for a package delivered to the hotel in advance and meticulously arranged all my requests before arrival. Her communication and service were incredibly thoughtful, making me feel completely at ease even before I got to the hotel. When I mentioned during check-in that this trip was for a birthday celebration, I was so surprised to find that she had thoughtfully decorated my room! Opening the door was a truly delightful and touching moment. This level of care made my birthday trip even more memorable. It really felt like the hotel wasn't just going through the motions, but genuinely put themselves in the guest's shoes to provide warm and considerate service. The hotel's location is also excellent, directly connected to Galleria Mall, making dining, shopping, and grocery runs incredibly convenient. You can easily get around regardless of the weather. For first-time visitors to Dalian, this location is highly recommended. The hotel itself is an apartment-style hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with full amenities. The washing machine, refrigerator, and other appliances are very practical, making it perfect for stays of several days or even longer. The overall environment is quiet, and the hygiene is excellent, ensuring a very comfortable stay. This trip was with my mother, who has some difficulty with her legs. The hotel staff provided a lot of help and care from check-in to check-out, which made our entire journey much easier. This kind of service truly feels very warm. Finally, I want to thank Flora Sun again for her consistent patience, meticulousness, and genuine help. Her professionalism and enthusiasm made this stay even more perfect. If I ever have the chance to visit Dalian again, I will definitely choose to stay here, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated. However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons: 1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway. 2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic? 3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken! 4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay. For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the entire staff – from the concierge to the front desk and housekeepers, everyone was warm, welcoming, and promptly attended to any requests. The hotel pool is a definite highlight; the water is clean, and the facilities are well-maintained. The kids absolutely loved it, and it was a perfect spot to spend some leisure time splashing around. While the room's hardware felt a bit dated, the thoughtful and attentive service more than made up for any shortcomings. This is a great choice if you're traveling with children, and overall, it was a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Overall, my family and I had a very satisfying stay. Lynne was incredibly thoughtful; seeing that we had a child, she proactively offered complimentary children's toiletries, which was a lovely gesture. The room was clean, dust-free, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The breakfast offered a good variety suitable for all ages, and the hotel's quiet environment ensured a very peaceful night's rest. I genuinely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here in 2023 when it was still a Kempinski. The spa and bakery left a deep impression on me. Since 2026, it has rebranded to Pullman by Accor, without closing for renovations, so the facilities remain unchanged. This time in Dalian, I revisited the hotel. Having been open for over twenty years, the facilities are indeed quite old. The room has a lot of heavy wooden furnishings, which must have been a significant investment back then. Many of them are no longer very smooth to use, such as the wardrobe sliding doors and bathroom drawers. They are difficult to move, and any attempt to do so would require major renovation. This also applies to issues like only having a charging port on one side of the bed, which many guests complain about. Personally, I quite like this old-fashioned, substantial hotel decor style; it lacks the cheap feel of some newer high-end hotels. Old is fine, as long as it doesn't affect normal use. The faucet is a Danish brand, possibly a concept product more focused on styling. It has a strange push-button operation. Some are smooth, others are very stiff and difficult to use, making it hard to control water flow and potentially scratching hands. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. It took me a while to find the light switches in the room, only to realize they were on the central control panel – a small, inconspicuous box by the bedside. The service is still good. It's peak season now, but I was still able to check in at the regulated time. This time, I bought a package through Trip.com, which included breakfast for two and dinner at Paulaner. It was a great value. The front desk even upgraded me to a better room type in a separate building, the VIP building, which has less than ten rooms per floor. Regarding the food: The breakfast variety is decent. The menu listed omelets, so I asked the chef to make one, and it tasted good. For milk, there was hot whole milk and cold skim milk; cold whole milk would have been a nice addition. The bakery, no longer part of Kempinski, has changed its products. My favorite chocolate croissants are gone. I bought some sliced cakes, and they tasted good. Paulaner has an excellent environment with a great atmosphere and live performances. The service is also very attentive, and guests get a 25% discount. However, pizzas take a long time to prepare; I waited over an hour for mine. The spa and pool are still the same as before, with an exotic flair. Several hot tubs and my favorite steam bath were all open and functioning. The pool is deeper than usual, at 1.5-1.8m, and it wasn't crowded, making it very peaceful. My main suggestions are all regarding the facilities: 1. The wooden furnishings that are not smooth to use should be repaired. 2. Add a charging port to the other side of the bed. 3. Replace the strange faucets. 4. The two panels of the curtains should not be on a single track; they need to overlap to prevent a gap, otherwise, how can light be blocked effectively?

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Zhongshan Square, with convenient access to dining, accommodation, and transportation. My only issue was having to switch rooms upon arrival (I was traveling with a child and had specifically requested a room without any unpleasant odors when booking, but the first room reeked, even with an air purifier running – surely the hotel should have noticed this before guests do). Housekeeping was prompt, and the pool was clean and tidy. Aside from the price, I was quite satisfied. Since breakfast wasn't included, we explored the local eateries. KFC, Hezhanjia (Japanese), Qicaihe (Korean), and Yizao Yiwan (for tofu pudding and fried dough sticks) were all great. For groceries, Xinlongjia supermarket had fresh fruit. Dalian Shopping Mall wasn't far and offered plenty of dining options. All in all, it's a suitable hotel for families.
