"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The lobby is grand and elegant, the room is spacious and bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a superb view. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. The bathroom features a convenient wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries are premium brands. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, proactively helping with our luggage and offering excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a sophisticated and exquisitely prepared Chinese and Western buffet. The gym and swimming pool facilities are new, well-maintained, and were never crowded. The location is also incredibly convenient, within walking distance to the main shopping district and the metro station. It offers superb value for money, and I highly recommend it!"

"Just stayed in this hotel, I haven't checked out, I can't help but talk about it. 1. The so-called Morandi color swimming pool, which is too stingy, similar to domestic hotels in the 1990s. Little Red Book claims to be ”I haven't been here before, I haven't been to Brisbane.” You can say this kind of crap, how much money you have collected, haha 2. Room facilities are ok, with electric curtains. It's just the same photo fraud. If you know how much I look forward to living here, it's the same as an ordinary hotel with more than 800 yuan. Why should I pay double the price? Who makes money is easy! 3. The ceiling and balcony are all cement floor paint. You can say that it is industrial style, but it is indeed low cost and not worth his price. 4. The parking space is $ 25 a night? It only cost $ 1.8 an hour to park by the side of the hotel, and it was free after 10pm to 7am. 5. The only good location is the location, there are many shops you want to visit, davidjones is just opposite, it is very convenient. After vomiting, I hope you do n’t spend money on thunder, just watched Ctrip, many good hotels are only 800.1000, you can watch the beautiful night view of Brisbane, you do n’t have to stick to the net red hotel."

"Below par for Mercure brand of hotels. What I like: Location and ease/convenience of public transportation Could improve: - flooring from lift to room - drinking water in room should be made available in the room - smell, too strong ozone cleaning smell in the room, foul smell in lift and corridors - service attitude from front desk to concierge Would I be back? - unlikely"

"hotel faced an unexpected black out that we all had to evacuate out for a night. things were a little messy and the beginning but they managed to do some proper service recovery thereafter. certain things in the room was a little dusty (eg. hangers and some cables), otherwise the room and location were great."

"Located right by Queen Street Mall in the CBD, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient with all amenities readily available nearby. However, there was a minor hiccup. Prior to check-in, I had clearly requested a twin room via email, but upon opening the door, I found a king-sized bed. I then had to go back down to the front desk to resolve the issue. They offered to split the king bed into two single beds but mentioned I would need to wait a while. After waiting 20 minutes in the room with no one arriving, I had to call again to follow up. Fortunately, it all worked out in the end. Apart from this, the hotel's other facilities and services were impeccable. I called for two blankets one evening as I felt a bit cold. Being on the 10th floor, my sleep was undisturbed and the surroundings were very quiet."

"Good value, right in the CBD which is good for first time visitors. Amenities are average and during my visit in December, there was a lot of renovation work during the day so it was a bit noisy especially when my room was right next to the renovation zone."

GGuest UserThe room facilities were decent, and the location was excellent. It's a 6-minute downhill walk to Central Station, making it very convenient to catch public transport to the Gold Coast. However, I'd highly recommend taking a taxi or ride-share from the airport to the hotel, because it's a steep uphill climb all the way from Central Station. This would be quite a challenge, especially when traveling with family and luggage – imagine navigating a very hilly city!

AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.

BBogeFacilities: The apartment-style room was well-equipped, complete with separate laundry and kitchen facilities. Cleanliness: Very clean overall, though I found the Australian bedding style a bit unfamiliar. Ambiance: The environment was pleasant, and high floors offered nice city views. Service: It's essential to contact the front desk ahead of time. Arriving late might mean the front desk is closed, and you could face a significant wait to check in.

11PresentWandererSecurity and the admin were very strict on who could come into your room during the day, (night I can understand). Had friends who came to visit while in the city early afternoon and they weren’t allowed in unless they were listed as guests on the room, with a number limited based on your room size. Had to leave the apartment and find somewhere else to catch up with them. Otherwise rooms were well presented with great views, and super convenient location.

PPippa-louisePlace is amazing clean , fresh and of high standard . But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to Card then said she would come out and make sure it worked as I said the night before man had to come And make sure carry worked she forgot card for The card so Went back into get then came out .. followed me down then gave me a card .. I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10 Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues Not sure what or how I was uograded as the room was smaller and no window as in first room 506 to 606

JJene JowNo staff at the front, ever. If you need assistance you are on your own trying to call them. Everyday there was someone else struggling to get in because the code didn’t work or the keypad was temperamental. Check in wasn’t complicated but required time and effort following their links, if you are booking for someone else, like businesses do, you can’t get the entry code until you get the text messages and follow the check in process. Balcony’s are useless and there is no sound insulation because of the balcony doors. The noise coming from the street to my room was the equivalent of just sleeping on the street. Location was good for airport proximity and a Woolworths and some restaurants. Room was clean, bathroom was cramped but did the job. Lacked power outlets near the bed.
