Sonesta Hotel Tower & Casino Cairo Reviews

The rooms were really spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very polite, friendly, helpful and had great attitude. The lighting and decor are beautiful. The bathroom had a great shower and they provided all the necessary ammenities. The hotel is well maintained and is in a very nice area. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Sonesta Cairo.

The location is excellent, close to the airport, and convenient for traveling to business locations. The hotel facilities are a bit old. Hotels in Egypt are not cheap, but if the price difference is not too big, I will still choose an international 5-star hotel. I chose breakfast but didn't eat it. According to my friend's description, there are not many breakfast options.

Very satisfactory hotel, with a swimming pool downstairs, a good lobby environment, and many restaurants on the first floor. The room environment is very comfortable. I will stay here again when I come to Egypt in the future

I booked a room on short notice and it was quite good. The room was spacious and the hotel environment was acceptable. I booked a room without breakfast, but I had to buy breakfast at the front desk. It was cheaper than a room with meals included.

Very bad experience, the room was very dirty, the waiter had a bad attitude, yelled at guests, the waiting time for check-in was very slow, the attitude was casual, no response to questions asked, the front desk staff did not understand English, this hotel is the worst of the 100 hotels I have stayed in recently, and the breakfast selection is very limited and unhygienic. There is a lot of garbage in the swimming pool and human feces. I will not recommend it to anyone!

None of the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion provided by the hotel worked. My hair was extremely dry after using the shampoo and conditioner, and my whole body was allergic and itchy after using the body lotion! I also used up the last loratadine I prepared in advance for this trip... If you want to stay here, you have to bring all the toiletries yourself! Be sure to avoid the toiletries provided by this hotel. The breakfast is very bad, not at all the level of a five-star hotel... The sound insulation is very poor, and you can hear the sound of vehicles on the road. The lamp in the room is poorly designed, too short and without a lampshade. I don’t know how short a person needs to be to use this lamp without being stabbed in the eyes. Finally, the service was also average. I took an Uber to the airport at the hotel entrance and was overcharged by the driver (required to cancel the software order, pay in cash, and pay a higher price than the software). The language barrier, the driver couldn’t speak a few words of English but still overcharged me. In another five-star hotel in Cairo, I encountered security at the hotel entrance who would come to actively protect the rights of customers, help translate, and drive away drivers who wanted to overcharge customers. The doorman of this hotel in Sentosa just stood next to me and did nothing. He just helped to convey the amount the driver asked for and then stayed out of the matter. . .

Disadvantages: The room facilities are a bit old, the wash basin is loose and shaking; the quilt cover and bed sheet are pilling, and I asked to change them twice before I got a non-pilling one. There is nothing to visit around, it is far from the city, and there are almost no restaurants to choose from. The breakfast is also relatively monotonous. Advantages: The service staff is friendly and willing to help. High cost performance. Overall, 4 points.

Check in again and it's still so comfortable

It is very close to the Cairo Convention Center. There are also many restaurants in the hotel with considerate service.
