"Stay was great. Breakfast was good too. Gana hospital was just 4-5 minutes walk where my training / workshop was. If you are coming especially for that then definitely going to recommend it. Many places of food and shopping centers were located around the hotel. Easy to catch taxi but do allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for airport in taxi as traffic is hilarious."

"I recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing. The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel. While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis. Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!"

"The location is superb, and the service truly deserves five stars. The staff are highly professional and incredibly polite, and the security is top-notch. Every aspect, from room service and cleanliness to the front desk, security, and bell staff, was excellent and incredibly helpful. Specifically, Mohamed from room service was outstandingly cooperative, respectful, and efficient. The service is remarkably prompt, despite the hotel's modest size. It offers great comfort and a very peaceful atmosphere, which I'd highly recommend even for solo female travelers. This was my second stay, and both times have been extremely comfortable, thankfully. My only note is the lack of parking; the street outside can be quite busy. The value for money is excellent, and I sincerely hope they maintain their current pricing."

"The Ultimate Pyramid View Stay: Turquoise Hotel Review Rating: 5/5 - Exceptional Value and Unbeatable Location If your priority in Cairo is an unforgettable view of the Giza Pyramids and warm, genuine Egyptian hospitality, then the Turquoise Hotel is the place to book. This is more than just a hotel; it's a front-row seat to one of the world's greatest wonders. Location, Location, Location (10/10) The proximity to the Giza Pyramid Complex is truly the hotel's crowning glory. Waking up to a clear, stunning view of the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx right outside your window, or from the magnificent rooftop terrace, is an experience that money can't truly buy. It is perfectly situated for easy access to both the ancient sites and the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Service & Staff (10/10) The staff is the soul of this hotel. From the moment of arrival, we were treated like family. The reception team (a special mention to [Name, if you know one, otherwise say 'the entire reception team']) went above and beyond to assist with everything—arranging airport transfers, organizing highly recommended tours, and providing local tips to navigate Cairo. Their kindness and proactive hospitality truly made our stay stress-free and memorable. The Rooftop Experience Do not miss the rooftop restaurant and terrace. Not only is it the best place to enjoy the sunset over the pyramids, but the food is also delicious and generously portioned. Watching the Pyramids Sound and Light Show from this vantage point is a must-do and saves you the price of a ticket! What to Expect Best Value for Money: The prices are extremely reasonable for a hotel offering this level of proximity and service. Delicious Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast is generous, tasty, and served with that incomparable view. Simple Comfort: While the rooms are not five-star luxury, they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything you need after a long day of exploring."

"Hotels in Cairo are generally expensive. For just over 200 RMB per night, I only managed to get a small single room with a small bed, though breakfast was included. The hotel is located near the Egyptian National Museum, also known as the Old Museum, a 10-minute walk away. Downstairs is a very noisy and chaotic street. The staircase was under construction the afternoon I checked in, and the air was filled with a lot of white mineral dust. There were no protective or cleaning measures in place, so the overall environment wasn't great, but this is likely typical of budget hotels in Cairo. Disposable toothbrushes were provided in the bathroom, but the paper towels weren't unopened. The air conditioning was decent and usable. There was a small refrigerator in the room and free bottled water, but they wouldn't give it to you unless you asked at the front desk. Overall, it's a bit pricey, and the amenities and service were average. However, it's a good place for a quick night's stay during a two-day trip to Cairo. The hotel is not far from Ma's Noodle House, where the noodles taste similar to those in China."

"The room is OK, this price can not ask too much, the location is good, just next to the Cairo Museum, there is a small supermarket next to it, but you need to take a taxi to the pyramid, go to the left, go to the largest shopping mall also need to take a taxi, go to the right, the cost is about 30 yuan, I went to the attractions the first day and took a taxi back and forth to the mall for 1 day on the third day. If you want to save money, you can live here, of course you can also choose a better hotel next to it."

MMohamedAkl1We spent one night at the Rivana Residence hotel. The location was confusing at first as it doesn't have big hotel signs. Once we got in we were welcomed by reception. We had a nice apartment which looks like we were one of the new users of the room or even the whole building. Everything was very clean, the room had a kettle and a microwave as well as some cutlery. The room also included a sofa and a big desk. Overall the stay was very nice and if I want somewhere near 5th district this would be definitely one of the first choices to book. Only one improvement I can think of is that there were no teabags or instant coffee packets. This is usually included in most hotels and would've been great to have a cup of tea in the morning

KKharina97For the price we paid for three rooms at over US$100 a night and considering it was a Hilton we were extremely disappointed in the rooms. The lobby looked promising, and the staff was very nice. However, the rooms looked borderline ******* and did not feel super clean. There were weird hallways and random rooms that we had to walk into before going into the hotel room itself well the staff was amazing. I cannot say that it is Hilton standard or quality and was extremely disappointed. Considering Hilton is a worldwide brand.

AAnonymous UserIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building. * Location & Transportation Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum. And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price. In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones. Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it. * Building and room conditions Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room. It is quite convenient a washstand in each room. However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler. It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel. * Cleanness & Safety Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this. * Services There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water. Wifi is too weak to use the internet. Other services like laundry are satisfied. * Others During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally. In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better. And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable. Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

GGuest UserThe staff of this hotel was not good, At about 8 PM in the evening, the hotel front desk staff called the room and said that the hotel we booked only allows one person to stay. If two people stay, they need to add an additional fee of 70 US dollars. Very unlogic, so I leave my friend and I booked another hotel.but the facilities and environment is good .only their service is bad
