Couldn't be happier with my stay! I received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe king room. The fresh and tranquil atmosphere made for an incredibly comfortable sleep, which is why I immediately extended my stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, the facilities were new and modern, and the service was absolutely excellent! Highly, highly recommended!

The room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The service was incredibly attentive and warm, with staff proactively anticipating our needs. Everything was perfectly arranged, and when we checked out, they even offered us bottled water for our journey. Adding the hotel's concierge on WeChat allowed us to easily contact staff anytime we needed assistance. The room was incredibly spacious; both large beds were extra-wide, offering even more room than a typical Courtyard hotel. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle; just downstairs, across the street, there's a vibrant snack street with plenty of delicious food options. The lobby also offered complimentary snacks and drinks.

Absolutely delighted! The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and proactively upgraded us to a spacious family room, which we were very happy with. We stayed for two consecutive nights, and after our room was cleaned on the second day, the housekeeper even left us a small, thoughtful gift. Such a nice touch! 👍👍

Checked in after 9 PM, hoping for an upgrade since it was late and they had rooms. I asked, but was told they were fully booked. So I just accepted the low-floor room they gave me. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong musty smell and the carpet was very dirty. I called to ask if I could switch rooms. The front desk said there'd just been a cancellation and offered an upgrade to a media room. 😓 I was with my child; what use is a media room late at night? But fine, I just wanted a room without the musty smell. The room on the 6th floor still had a bit of a smell, but it was much better than the 3rd floor room. Given it's an old building, I guess. I just wanted to get my child to sleep quickly. But then the air conditioning unit hummed loudly all night, making it impossible to sleep. At first, I thought it was the exhaust fan. After searching for ages, I realized it was the AC unit. I kept feeling itchy in bed, like there were bugs. In the middle of the night, I felt something I couldn't identify. (See picture.) The next day at check-out, I stood in front of the reception desk. The front desk staff didn't offer any proactive service; they didn't even say 'hello'. Does this hotel actually train its staff? Underneath the bathroom door, it was pitch black – I couldn't tell if it was mold or just poor cleaning.

The ladies at the front desk were exceptionally kind; they were all smiles during check-in and even proactively offered assistance, making me feel like I was among friends. To my surprise, the lobby even offered complimentary Changsha stinky tofu, freshly made and piping hot! It tasted incredibly authentic, even better than what I'd buy outside. Snacking on a piece during a break from my business trip was an absolute delight.

This hotel offers a truly unique ambiance. The lush greenery and succulents throughout create a wonderfully refreshing and soothing atmosphere. The front desk service was warm and attentive, genuinely making us feel their sincerity and friendliness. Room facilities and amenities were also excellent; the 'Forest Oxygen Bar' room, in particular, provided a very comfortable stay. Its location is exceptionally convenient, perfect for transportation, dining, and shopping. Highly recommended for business travelers!

The service was excellent. The bed in our room was massive – the biggest I've ever seen! It was incredibly wide, easily accommodating four adults, and I'd estimate it was around 2.5 meters across. The entire room was very comfortable and quiet. My only minor complaint was the sound of doors closing, but everything else was perfectly fine. They even gave us a small bag of snacks when we checked out! Overall, it offers great value for money!

We visited Changsha with our kids for the weekend. First off, the location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is incredibly close to Xingcheng Tiandi and De Si Qin, just a five-minute walk away. Downstairs, you'll find Bus Xincun and Yang Yuxing. In the evening, the Xingguang Night Market is super lively, making dining, shopping, and entertainment incredibly convenient. The hotel service was also excellent. Since our high-speed train was at 5 PM, they kindly extended our check-out until 3:30 PM and even offered complimentary afternoon tea, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Changsha Maikeda Wyndham Hotel will definitely be our top choice for our next visit!

I frequently visit Changsha for business, but this was my first time staying in the Desiqin area. First off, the hotel is situated in quite a bustling neighborhood. There are restaurants immediately to your left as you step out, and a lively night market street directly in front, making the evenings very vibrant. While the hotel lobby had a rather grand feel to it, I found it inconvenient that after check-in, there was quite a long walk to reach the elevators. Furthermore, the elevators themselves were incredibly slow, making the wait unbearable – a problem I've never encountered at any other hotel and which I found completely unacceptable. Secondly, upon entering my room, I noticed a significant amount of standing water outside the bathroom. Thirdly, there was no hot water available for showering after 11 PM.

staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Their gym is first class. It is located to shopping street and malls. Rooms are big and comfortable.

Excellent front desk service, fantastic dining and cleaning staff. Food at breakfast was ace. Lots going on outside eg food stalls vibrant area, easy to get cabs. recommend Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain
