"The room was very spacious, and the customer service upgraded me to a sea-view room on the 24th floor. I could see the Shandong University campus and the sea from up there, which was a fantastic view! Downstairs, there's a supermarket, restaurants, and other amenities, all very convenient. Transportation is great too; the K2 bus takes about 20 minutes to Torch Eight Street, it's a ten-minute walk to the beach, and just a few minutes' walk to the entrance of Shandong University. This place offers excellent value for money. Five stars, highly recommended!"

"The room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy and quiet retreat. All the facilities were complete and in excellent working order, with the Wi-Fi and hot water being particularly impressive! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weihai!"

"The room was spotless, and even the water glasses had paper covers. The bathroom exceeded my expectations, with a wet and dry separation, a heated towel rack, and a smart toilet seat. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and proactively offered recommendations for local restaurants when asked. Oh, and I think the housekeeping staff's service level surpasses that of five-star hotels. They left handwritten notes to communicate when guests were out and even provided local fig tea for us to sample. The breakfast selection was also very rich. This Baile Hotel seems to be a chain in Shandong; I've seen it all the way from Dongying, Penglai, and Yantai to Weihai. The only minor drawback is that the self-service laundry's dryer could be replaced with a more efficient model (like LG, Hilton Garden Inn's dryers are quite efficient). The hotel's location is also excellent; Huancui Pavilion is just about 1 km behind it, and from the higher floors, you can even see Liugong Island."

"Service: From the hotel staff to the restaurant waitresses, everyone was lovely and very enthusiastic. Location: It's in a prime spot on Torch 8th Street, very convenient. You can directly access Torch 8th Street from the hotel's second and third floors by elevator, so no need to climb hills, and it's great for photos. Room: We booked a sea-facing room, but trees were blocking the view, so we could barely see the ocean directly, which was a bit disappointing. You definitely need to stay on a higher floor here! And those rooms are even cheaper than ours! Cleanliness: It was just before peak season, so it was getting a bit crowded, and the cleaning wasn't as thorough. There were wrappers from kids' snacks near the sofa and some unidentified hair on the bed. If you like lively places, this is good, but if you prefer quiet, I'd suggest the Golden Sands area; it's less crowded and the hotels there are better. This place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel. Overall, the value for money isn't great, so I wouldn't highly recommend it."

"First, the good points: the breakfast was excellent, and the location is absolutely superb! You step right out to the sea, and the view from the window is fantastic! Service: The service was great. They provided fruit daily, and even offered late-night snacks (though I only redeemed it once, it was truly amazing!). When ordering takeout, a robot delivered it to my room, which was a fantastic experience. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. A big thank you to the cleaning staff who worked hard every day! There were a few minor drawbacks, but they didn't detract from the overall excellent experience: 1. We booked a Business Seaview Room, which should have been on floors 16-20. However, when my family checked in earlier, they were given a room on the 15th floor, right next to the elevator, which was quite noisy. This might have been because my family checked in about 10-20 minutes early and the room wasn't ready. But later, they upgraded us to a Family Twin room, which was a nice little upgrade, and I'm very grateful! 2. I felt the 'seaview' was more of a partial seaview. I couldn't find corresponding photos for the room when I booked. Perhaps the 'Scenic View Room' offers a more direct seaview, but this was still very good. 3. When we checked out, around 12 PM, they called to ask if we had checked out. This was a bit strange because we had left much earlier. However, these are minor issues that didn't affect the overall experience. 4. I hope they will provide clearer descriptions for seaview rooms in the future, especially for partial seaviews. PS: I absolutely love seaview rooms! I've traveled to many cities and almost always choose a seaview room."

"When I came to Weihai three or four years ago, I booked this guesthouse, and I was very satisfied with it at the time. So this time, I chose it again. However, the check-in experience was not as satisfying as the last time. The first obvious issue was the elevator – it took forever to catch one. The second was the room's cleanliness; the glass door of the bathroom was completely grimy, and the shower area was right outside the bathroom door. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet if you needed to use the toilet. Plus, the shower drain was clogged and didn't drain, leading to standing water. The third problem was the sewer smell. It was somewhat tolerable with the windows open during the day, but at night, with the windows closed, the smell filled the entire room. Luckily, I only stayed for two nights. If you're booking the same room type as mine, I suggest you inquire about these issues beforehand. The location is convenient; the beach is right downstairs, and there are people singing on the beach at night. For this room type, parents with small children should be aware of the steps, as kids might trip easily at first."

"Gave a perfect score! Upon check-in, they proactively introduced the hotel facilities and nearby tourist attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with ocean and mountain views from the window. The front desk staff were very attentive and answered all our questions. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping the room spotless. Our stay was an excellent experience, definitely worth coming back again. I've already recommended it to friends to try out."

"Here's my objective review of this stay. Pros: 1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby. 2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery. 3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it. 4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely. 5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly. 6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier. Cons: 1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews. 2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken. 3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival). 4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub. 5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby."

"This hotel is super pet-friendly and well-equipped, making it perfect for both short-term stays and longer getaways. You can enjoy a stunning ocean view right from your bed, and having breakfast on the small balcony is simply a treat. On this trip to Weihai, I unfortunately came down with acute gastroenteritis after overindulging in seafood on my first night and had to go to the hospital. I ended up spending the next two days recovering in the hotel, unable to go anywhere. However, I have absolutely no regrets; just lying in bed and admiring the beautiful scenery was enough for me! I'll definitely be back in Weihai, and I'll be sure to stay here again! **Amenities:** Excellent, with everything you need including a washing machine and refrigerator. **Cleanliness:** Spotless and well-maintained. **Environment:** The sea view is absolutely stunning. **Service:** Very attentive."
