Cheap Hotels in Weihai

"When I came to Weihai three or four years ago, I booked this guesthouse, and I was very satisfied with it at the time. So this time, I chose it again. However, the check-in experience was not as satisfying as the last time. The first obvious issue was the elevator – it took forever to catch one. The second was the room's cleanliness; the glass door of the bathroom was completely grimy, and the shower area was right outside the bathroom door. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet if you needed to use the toilet. Plus, the shower drain was clogged and didn't drain, leading to standing water. The third problem was the sewer smell. It was somewhat tolerable with the windows open during the day, but at night, with the windows closed, the smell filled the entire room. Luckily, I only stayed for two nights. If you're booking the same room type as mine, I suggest you inquire about these issues beforehand. The location is convenient; the beach is right downstairs, and there are people singing on the beach at night. For this room type, parents with small children should be aware of the steps, as kids might trip easily at first."

"The room was clean and tidy with a faint, pleasant scent. The bedding was fantastic, and I slept soundly and comfortably. I really appreciated the daily fruit delivery. From the window, I could see the sea and seagulls. Just downstairs was a great photo spot, and it was convenient to get everywhere. The breakfast was generous, making for a very comfortable little getaway."

"This hotel is very close to Weihai Railway Station. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are clean. I had a good experience during my two-day stay. The front desk was very responsive to requests; dental floss and a charging adapter were delivered to my room with just one phone call. The service was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by a huge commercial area, Hanlefong, with plenty of food and drink options. It's also not too far from the seaside park. Avoiding the summer heat, it's very pleasant to take a walk to the seaside park to look at the sea at sunset. Sharing some views of the marine park."

"Beyond amazing, exceeded all expectations, highly recommend! Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay for more days. Environment: The boardwalk downstairs is absolutely stunning, and the small beach was a hit with the kids. It's also very suitable for seniors. Weihuai was just for relaxing; I just wanted to spend all day strolling around the hotel. Service: Another thing I have to specially praise is the hotel's service. The front desk lady at the main building, the concierge, and the housekeeping ladies were all incredibly friendly. The kids loved them too. 👍 Food: The hotel breakfast was decent. The only downside of the whole experience was the Korean restaurant – a real disappointment!"

"The hotel is very new and the service is very good. I contacted the airport pick-up in advance and the minion car was very popular with the children. There is a beach right outside. Children can dig in the sand freely. There are not many people there and there are many photo spots. The hotel also provides travel photography. Previously, Sanya offered 5 free negatives for travel photography, but here they actually give them all because the new store has opened to give back to customers, which feels like a profit. The only drawback is that there are too many windows that let in light, and the children wake up too early and start digging in the sand🤭🤭"

"The location is excellent, very close to the beach and Hanlefang. They also offer free bicycle rentals. The service is warm and friendly, and everyone is dedicated. When we left clothes behind, they immediately contacted us and helped us ship them, which we greatly appreciate. If some details could be improved, it would further enhance its image as a 5-star hotel. For example: the room cleaning wasn't thorough enough (there were dropped invoices and medicine tubes under the bed). The bathtub drain was clogged. The pool didn't have towels or a swimsuit spinner, making it feel more like a public pool than a hotel amenity. There were no instructions for electronic devices like the TV in the room."

"Here's my objective review of this stay. Pros: 1. Upon check-in, a staff member helped me with my luggage from the lobby. 2. My child lost a toy accessory in the room during our stay and we couldn't find it. When checking out, I asked the staff to look for it again when cleaning the room. In the afternoon, the hotel informed me that they had two teams search for it and finally found it. I'm very grateful, and they even helped arrange for it to be sent back to me with payment on delivery. 3. During one of the cleanings, they left two extra bottles of water and a note, indicating they noticed formula milk powder in the room and that more water might be needed for mixing it. 4. The male staff member in a black suit I met in the hallway and the female cleaner I met the next morning greeted me very politely. 5. During breakfast, a very tall manager and other service staff saw me with my young child and proactively offered to cook the noodles longer and even brought them to my table. When I mentioned that the yogurt was gone, they responded and refilled it very quickly. 6. The room has a great view, offering panoramic views of the beach and the pier. Cons: 1. There were no Little Prince children's amenities or daily yogurt, which I had read about in other reviews. 2. The non-smoking floor was a joke. There was always a smell of smoke in the hallway, and there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on the windowsill in the hallway right in front of our room. After I moved it to the trash bin near the elevator, a few hours later, a plastic box full of cigarette butts had replaced it in the original spot. After I reported this to the hotel, their only response was that the guest across the hall was smoking in the corridor and they had aired it out, with no other action taken. 3. The provided baby bed rail couldn't be fixed securely and was ineffective. At our request and prompting, they brought ropes to tie it down (at the previous hotel we stayed at, the bed rail was already tied and secured before our arrival). 4. During the mid-stay cleaning, they didn't notice clothes dropped on the floor, and the duvet was just folded haphazardly. However, they did proactively drain the water from the bathtub. 5. The hotel room card could open a door leading to the beach, but we weren't informed about this. We only found out from a passerby."

"This was my first time visiting Weihai, and I chose the Crowne Plaza Weihai Binhai, near Xiaoyao Bay, for easy access to attractions along the eastern route by car. Overall, my stay was excellent. The hotel is new, comfortable, and the service was very attentive. The room had a nice view overlooking Xiaoyao Lake, where I could see people fishing – a very relaxed atmosphere. It's about a 3 km drive to Xiaoyao Bay beach, and parking fees weren't expensive. We even caught a beautiful sunset in the evening. I highly recommend the hotel's indoor pool. It’s clean and comfortable, and besides the standard pool, there are two shallower splash pools, which are great for kids. The pool is connected to the main building by an indoor walkway, so if you enjoy swimming, you can go directly from your room and easily return for a shower and rest afterward. For dining, the breakfast was generally good. When I was hungry in the evening, I tried ordering a pizza from the all-day dining restaurant for room service, and it was surprisingly delicious. We also had two lunches at the Chinese restaurant, and both the noodles and pig trotters were excellent. During our two-night stay, all the staff we encountered were incredibly warm and friendly. A special thank you to Molly, who promptly answered all our questions and handled our requests during check-in, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring."

"This stay exceeded our expectations! The shuttle service was very prompt. Both the pick-up driver and Mr. Liang, who drove us to the station, provided excellent service, actively helping with our luggage and giving directions. Upon check-in, considering we were a family, the staff thoughtfully arranged our two rooms on the same floor and even gave us a free room upgrade, which was incredibly considerate. Manager Ren, in particular, consistently checked in on our stay, showing great attention to detail. The hotel cleaning was also excellent, with items in our room replaced promptly every day. All staff maintained a smiling and high-quality service attitude. The breakfast buffet also deserves praise; there was a wide variety of delicious options."

"The room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, offering a cozy and quiet retreat. All the facilities were complete and in excellent working order, with the Wi-Fi and hot water being particularly impressive! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right in a building to the left of Weihai Station's exit. It's about a ten-minute walk to Hanlefang, and getting to Weihai Bus Station or Weihai Coach Terminal for the tourist bus lines is a breeze. This makes it super easy to visit attractions like Liugong Island, Maotou Mountain, Nashanghai, the Bluevessel, Chengshantou, and city sights such as Weihai Park and Huoju 8th Street. The staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security, were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. Full marks! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weihai!"
