"It's extremely old, feels like it's 50 years old. The whole of Rome feels very old, and the area around the train station isn't great either. The ground is very difficult to navigate, there's a big landfill, and many homeless people. Every day when I leave, I encounter feces. The hotel itself also feels 50 years old; it's barely habitable. However, the staff are very friendly and always smiling."

"This time, I stayed at a hotel that seems to be a popular choice among Chinese travelers, and my overall experience was pretty good. The only downside was the front desk staff's attitude – they were consistently cold and indifferent. There were no greetings when we came and went, and even when we initiated a hello, we only got dismissive responses. What was even more frustrating was the rather large staff member at the restaurant entrance who just stood there expressionless every time we passed by, which gave a very unwelcoming impression. However, the restaurant and housekeeping staff were all very warm and friendly, which definitely redeemed a lot of my impression of this stay."

"Unfortunately, the check-in experience was disappointing. The lady receptionist who checked us in on the evening of 29 Dec 2025 came across as quite rude when I asked about the room I had booked. I paid more for a specific room configuration (1 double bed + 1 single bed), but was instead given a smaller room with only a queen-size bed, which did not match my booking. While the hotel offered complimentary welcome drinks to compensate, there was still around €50 price difference compared to the room I originally booked, so the gesture didn’t fully make up for the inconvenience. That said, credit where it’s due — the male receptionist on the morning shift was very helpful and professional in assisting with settling the room arrangement. On a positive note, breakfast was the highlight of the stay — genuinely the best part 😝"

"The room is tidy and nice, the bathroom is clean, there is a large balcony, and the surrounding is quiet. There is a grocery store downstairs that is open until late, and there is a Carrefour a few hundred meters away. It is very close to the subway station. A bottle of water is given, and other things are charged. The only drawback is that the room is small, and the price is OK in Rome in summer"

"We have read so many reviews about this hotel some good some not that great. At the end I would like to say that forvthe money value and the location the hotel is great. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel inside is very antique I would say. The rooms are clean yes there are some imperfections but you dont come to Rome to stay all day in the room but to see the city. So my opinion its with it. Its literally 2 min walk from Train station Termini. If yiu want to have a good breakfast 4 min walk from the hotel there is a cafe washington. Amazing staff and quality of breakfast. If you want to have good quality of great pizza there is in a distance of 4 min walk restaurant Llangollen di Napoli. The staff is amazing and yhe food is great. The photos are not related to the hotel but to the places to go for good food."

"Ruby, Giulia is a great hotel in the heart of Rome close to Termini railway station. The hotel is very clean organized and it has all the amenities you need. A great team of staff that are always there whenever you need help. I wanna give a shout out to three individuals who made our stay so great one is Giuseppe, he upgraded our room and just genuinely a lovely guy. Second is Nada, she took her time out to give us a few recommendations about restaurants and life in Rome, etc. so a huge shout out to her. last but not least the manager Miks. He was so helpful after our data finished on our phones and we were leaving the next day. Thank you all Team Ruby!"

"Perfect location for travelers! Great location with easy access to buses and trains. It's very convenient for both sightseeing and getting to the airport. The nearby station is newly renovated—clean and feels safe. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A special thanks to the reception staff, who were very friendly and resolved my issues promptly. Highly recommended! The key card power switch in the room was a bit unresponsive. I had to reinsert the card multiple times to turn on the lights"

"The hotel building is quite nice and has a garden. However, the room is a bit dated, as are the facilities, especially the bathroom. The cleanliness is acceptable. I think it's suitable for a very short stay, just to spend a night near the train station, but the comfort level is a bit low. The old man at the front desk was very kind."

"The room was quite spacious and matched the pictures online, with a double bed. If you're taking the airport shuttle bus, you just walk straight for about 150 meters after getting off, then turn left, and you're there. Turning left when you exit puts you right in front of the train station. The elevator is quite old-fashioned. It seems I actually stayed in a room belonging to the hotel next door, and I'm not sure how they differentiate between them."

"It was quite a challenging stay. The requests I made in the booking were completely ignored. Upon arrival, we had to change rooms, which seemed to upset the front desk staff quite a bit. A South Asian porter helped us with our luggage. I didn't have any small change, as I mostly pay with cards and rarely use cash, so I only gave him a 2 Euro coin as a tip. From that moment on, whenever he saw us, he showed absolutely no expression. I mean, it's not like I was going to give him a 200 or 500 Euro bill, right? Was it even worth that much? The hotel breakfast was excellent. The room, although not as good as the original one after the change, was still acceptable. The location is fantastic: just a few dozen meters from the train station, and there's an airport shuttle right outside. There are no issues with the location, and the area isn't as chaotic as some say. The only problem is that all the staff had rather cold and indifferent expressions, making you feel, for a moment, like you weren't even in Italy! I won't be staying here again, even with its many advantages. I just don't want to deal with their attitudes!"
