"Check-in was smooth. The room was spacious enough for the whole family, no problem at all. Downstairs, it's connected to Daikoku Drugstore and Matsuoka Shoten, making souvenir shopping very convenient. The hotel also has a nice commemorative stamp. We checked in during their 10th-anniversary celebration, and the kids got raffle stickers for answering some questions. There are many dinner options near the hotel, but expect some queues. The hotel's breakfast was absolutely delicious 😋 – I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The location is also fantastic; it's right across the bus station after you exit the train station. It's super convenient for getting to all the attractions in Hakodate, and also very easy to get to Hakodate Airport."

"A bit distance to walk from station. Even if u take a tram, still walk a small distance. Because is winter time, I have hard time walking the icy water. Hotel is good, Very big room, nice. Very spacious. Can leave my luggage open on floor completely. Got a window but CANNOT open. Upon entering room, there is a special cupboard to put down staff. Shown in photo, where my luggage is. Oven is stated at certain floor, vending machine and laundry all at different floor. Lobby has a lot thing to pass time, since it's raining and snow at the same time. But I can't read Japanese comic."

"A great overnight luxury transit hotel within 7 - 8 mins walking distance from JR Hakodate. Good service rendered by friendly highly trained staff. Worth a stay to experience Another 10 mins walking distance to the Red Brick House 🏠 for awesome retail shopping spree 🛒🛍️ to buy the local 🇯🇵 Hokkaido delights & savour local cuisine. The Hakodate Morning Market is right across the street with succulent fresh king crab affair feast awaiting 👑 🦀. A must visit destination for all in Sapporo not to be missed 🐙🦀🪼🦞🐠🦐🐳"

"The hotel is conveniently located, literally about 5 minutes from the station, which is great if you are travelling with luggage. The room had the basic essentials, and the area is surrounded by many restaurants. However, for the price, I expected more. The room for two people was extremely small: basically just a bed, a very narrow table with almost no usable space, one chair, and a fridge. The space under the bed for suitcases is a smart idea, but it does not really solve the problem, as there is simply nowhere comfortable to sit or spend time in the room. Another thing I found strange was that there was a Bible and The Book of Mormon in the room. At first, I thought previous guests had left them behind, so I went downstairs to ask, and was told that this was official hotel literature. I found this confusing and unnecessary. A charger was also provided, but it was not clearly marked as a hotel item, so at first I thought it had been left behind by another guest and that the room had not been cleaned properly. The hotel provides various disposable amenities, but surprisingly there were no toothbrushes. Overall, the experience was not great. The location is convenient, but the room size, check-in experience, and some strange details made the stay disappointing."

"I visited Hakodate during Golden Week, and it was my first time traveling here by Shinkansen from Sendai, via Aomori. That's why I chose a hotel right next to the JR station. Its convenience in terms of transportation is simply unbeatable. Hakodate Morning Market is just across the street from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. Since there were many guests checking in, both the check-in process and waiting for the elevators took quite a bit of time. The room amenities were complete and comfortable. The only downside was that the room rate during Golden Week was 3-4 times higher than usual, which was definitely not cheap."

"Facilities: Okay Cleanliness: Okay Ambiance: Okay Service: Okay The hotel is just diagonally across from Hakodate Station, less than a ten-minute walk away. Since we arrived at noon and couldn't check in yet, the front desk staff guided us to a dedicated room for self-service luggage storage. We then asked for a map and advice on how to best plan our sightseeing in Hakodate. She suggested we take a taxi directly to Hachiman-zaka Slope, as the bus services there are infrequent. After visiting that attraction, we could then go to other sights like Mount Hakodate, Motomachi Park, and the Red Brick Warehouses. For tomorrow morning, we could simply enjoy a sea urchin rice bowl at the Morning Market before heading off to Asahikawa, making for a relaxed trip."

"- microwave and washing machine in the room(recommended to buy Hakodate milk and heat it up using microwave, make your own milktea using free tea bag from hotel) - great location, right beside hakodate morning market - there is a Hot spring bath with sea view - free coffee and a comfortable lounge with sea view - unpleasant check-in experience, one of the staff is impatient - No bottled water provided in the room. Check-in experience was a bit unpleasant when we arrived earlier (we knew we were early and weren’t requesting for early check-in). One of the male staff was quite unfriendly and kept repeating “no early check-in” when we were just asking whether we could store our luggage before check-in. He seemed quite impatient throughout. However, the rest of the staff were good, and even lent us a knife and cutting board to cut the melon we bought. Location is great, right beside the morning market, and only about a 7-minute walk to the JR station. We came during spring so the walk was totally fine."

"Hotel Enoe is a distance away from the station (need to take the tram), but close to the Bay Area where most of the things to see in Hakodate are located. Walkable to the red brick warehouses, churches and the mountain cable car station. Really liked how clean and huge the room was, with an open lounge with free alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks as well."

"Hotel is located close to the station so it was easy access from the airport. We checked in around 20:00 and we booked a bus runs by hotel (2,000yen per person) go to Hakodate mountain to see this famous night view. It was the last two seats so if you are thinking to go better to book in advance. Hotel also runs complementary shuttle bus around the city - easy access to every sightseeing place. Breakfast buffet was great, they have a little their own inconvenient store in the hotel so you don’t have to go out to buy something that you need. The lounge area was also great. after we took a bath we both and ice cream and we sat down there walking at the traditional sea glasses lamps which was pretty good time."

"Love the hospitality of the team, makes us feel welcomed! The room is very decent, the complimentary breakfast is amazing!! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hakodate, the Izakaya next to the hotel is also highly recommended! The tram is just outside the hotel, lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel also provides umbrella for free use, which is extremel thoughtful and highly appreciated!"
