The hotel is very nice, including the location. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Returning after two years, it felt just as familiar and wonderfully comfortable. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and even helped with our luggage. We got up early to visit Wenshu Monastery for prayers, and found the famous *Guokui* without any queue. The surrounding area has an abundance of hotpot and *chuanchuan* restaurants. Plus, it's less than 100 meters from the subway station, offering excellent value for money. It's small yet perfectly formed, refined and beautiful. The genuine warmth and thoughtful touches make it a truly delightful and joyful place to stay.

A truly great stay! It offers the consistent cleanliness of a chain hotel combined with the personalized warmth of a family guesthouse. The front desk staff, Xiao Xin and Xiao Yue, were incredibly friendly and helpful; they even went the extra mile by offering to look after our laundry in the washing room and take it to the dryer. The hotel's location is fantastic: just a 50-meter walk from Exit K of Wenshu Monastery Metro Station, and Wenshu Monastery itself is less than a 10-minute walk away.

Sanyueju Hotel is a great value-for-money option in Chengdu. It’s conveniently located near Wenshu Monastery and just a short walk from Wenshu Monastery Metro Station (文殊院站). From Exit K, turn right and you’ll find the hotel within minutes. Just a heads-up—Exit K doesn’t have an escalator, so it’s best to pack light if you’re bringing luggage. The hotel is clean, quiet, and tucked in a charming area with easy access to food and attractions. Housekeeping is thorough, and I really appreciated that they provided hair conditioner, which many budget hotels tend to skip. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, this is a solid pick!

The service was excellent. The hotel boasts a tranquil atmosphere, and the rooms are well-equipped. The staff were incredibly thoughtful, making check-in a quick and smooth process. In particular, Xiao Xin and Xiao Yue were exceptionally warm and helpful. Its location is very convenient, being close to Wenshu Monastery and the metro station. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. Despite the lack of an elevator, they were kind enough to help us with our luggage, and even delivered our takeout orders to our room.

Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained, and the air conditioning was quiet. Cleanliness: The room was spotless, with daily housekeeping service. Environment: It was incredibly quiet, with absolutely no noise disturbance. Location: The K exit of Wenshu Monastery Subway Station is less than 50 meters away. A delicious Laozhao Hotpot restaurant is just 200 meters in the opposite direction, with Wenshu Monastery directly across from it. This prime location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring various attractions by subway, which was a key reason I booked this hotel. There's also a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea shop right downstairs. Service: Xiao Xin and Xiao Yue provided exceptionally warm and enthusiastic service. They even helped us carry our luggage downstairs when we checked out. (Kudos to the management for such amazing staff!) Drawbacks: 1. The room was a bit compact, but despite its size, it was fully equipped and had everything we needed. 2. There's no elevator. However, the highest floor is only the second, so it's not a strenuous climb, and the staircase is quite short. What truly stood out was that the front desk attendant, who seemed like a superwoman, single-handedly carried two of our heavy suitcases up to the room – we were incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness! Overall: This hotel is a solid choice and definitely won't disappoint. My family and I were all very satisfied with our stay, and we'll certainly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Chengdu. We were so exhausted from our travels that we forgot to take any photos, but rest assured, the room looked exactly as depicted in the promotional pictures.

The location is excellent. It's just a few steps from Exit K of Wenshu Monastery Subway Station. Metro Line 1 is incredibly well-connected, meaning about 90% of your sightseeing can be done via subway. Right by the subway exit, there's a 'chuan' (skewers) place; turn around the corner and you'll find Yan Taipo; and walk one block south for two hotpot restaurants. The street outside, Baijiatang Street, seems to have an old residential area. Head out the door, turn right (east), and you'll find tons of food options, mostly noodle dishes and snacks. To the left at the intersection is Wenshufang Street; turn left all the way down and you're at Wenshu Monastery. Turn right for Wangji Beef Guokui (yes, I basically spent my whole stay eating! 🫤) The accommodation itself was very satisfactory. For family travel these days, there's hardly any choice when it comes to triple rooms. Here, it's a two-room setup (an inner and an outer room) with three beds, accommodating four people. And CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING!!! (a huge plus). Although there's no elevator to the second floor, the two lovely ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful. They'll guide you and even carry your large luggage up. My mother had been wondering for days if the front desk lady was working 24/7 without a break. It wasn't until the day we checked out, when she saw two ladies at the front desk simultaneously, that she quietly told me they must be two very similar-looking people! (Amused)

The cleanliness was top-notch, absolutely spotless. Service was also excellent; a lovely staff member at the front desk even helped carry our luggage right to our room door. Wenshu Monastery is incredibly close, practically right outside the entrance. The subway station is also super close, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Given the price, it's truly excellent value for money!

It's roughly a 100-meter walk from the metro station exit and very close to Wenshu Monastery. The place itself is decent. No elevator, but the front desk staff kindly helped with our luggage. Overall, it was good.

Its location right at the subway exit is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff, Xiao Xin and Xiao Yue, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. They proactively offered umbrellas when we were going out in the rain, for instance, and also allowed us to store our luggage after checking out. This was truly fantastic.

The room is compact but well-equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, very close to both the subway and Wenshu Monastery. The lady at the front desk was truly wonderful; she helped me with my heavy luggage and even proactively offered assistance when I was checking out!
