Staying at this hotel while visiting Chengdu made my entire trip perfect. It truly lives up to its reputation as a high-quality, five-star hotel in the south of the city.
First off, the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and comprehensive. The rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive park views. Amenities like electric toilets are all present, and the mattress is quite soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The public areas are tidy and elegant, the gym equipment is brand new and complete, and the executive lounge offers a quiet atmosphere with a wide variety of food options.
What truly stood out was the attentive and thoughtful service. The doorman immediately helped us with our luggage when he saw we had a child. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the staff were all gentle and polite. The hotel's location is also excellent, just a 30-minute drive from the airport. For an early morning run, the park right opposite is perfect, and enjoying breakfast after a jog is incredibly pleasant. Oh, and there are even a few cute turtles sunbathing next to the breakfast area!
In summary, with its complete facilities and warm, meticulous service, this stay was exceptionally comfortable. I will definitely choose the InterContinental Century City again on my next visit to Chengdu. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThis hotel is quite large, making it inconvenient to get in and out. Although there's a shuttle bus, sometimes the wait can be very long. The lobby is also quite far and hard to find from the entrance. One night, our food delivery was 40 minutes late, and my child was starving.
The management seems a bit chaotic, and the staff's service attitude isn't great. I encountered several issues; here are two examples:
1. When checking in, we had to wait in a long line. Even though we had a child with us, the staff didn't ask if we needed to buy tickets for the Ocean Park. After checking in and leaving, we realized we hadn't bought tickets. When we went back, we were told we had to queue up again.
2. At breakfast, which was by the pool, I was queuing for wontons. I was first in line, but after cooking, the staff handed the wontons to the third person in line. When I asked why they weren't following the queue, they simply said, 'Anyone can take them,' which was baffling.
On the positive side, the room was good, and it's quite convenient for visiting the Ocean Park. However, if you're not going to the Ocean Park, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
