"This is my fourth stay. The hotel has been well maintained in recent years, and the price is cheaper than before! Everything is good, the only thing I think is wrong! The slippers provided in the parent-child room are not disposable. I can accept plastic slippers, but those cheap straw slippers are unrealistic in terms of disinfection. I feel uncomfortable and smelly when I wear them! I remember that they were all disposable before~ and the noodles for breakfast were not enough during the holidays, and it was not a buffet... the chef was in charge... a bit stingy!

GGuest UserDuring the May Day holiday, I came to Xiling Snow Mountain with my family for vacation and chose this homestay. The environment is very good, close to the stream, and it is very pleasant to blow the wind and drink tea by the river at night. The owner planted a lot of flowers and fruit trees in front and behind, which is very comfortable! The room is very clean, and the housekeeper provides free breakfast in the morning. It is not far from Xiling Snow Mountain, and the cost performance is very high.

Apart from this relatively large hotel, there are only a few restaurants and supermarkets nearby, characteristic of a small town or rural area. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the hotel:
1. **Room Rate**: We stayed during a mid-August summer weekend. A King Room with a terrace cost 860 RMB, including breakfast for two and all-day hot spring access.
* **Post-stay impression**: I felt the price was a bit steep. The hotel's facilities and amenities don't quite match its 'luxury hotel' promotion; it's more akin to a boutique lifestyle hotel at best.
2. **Room**: It featured a 1.8-meter king-sized bed, a long vanity counter, an armchair, and a chair in front of the TV. The washbasin was integrated into the main room, while the toilet and shower were separate. The terrace had two chairs. The toiletries (pictured) were unfamiliar.
3. **Environment/Surroundings**: Other than a central courtyard lawn, the hotel's immediate surroundings are quite natural. However, this also includes dilapidated, unfinished buildings nearby, so I wouldn't describe the overall environment as good.
4. **Hot Springs Pools**: Since it was summer, I only glanced at the outdoor area; there were probably just 3 to 4 small pools. I didn't check out the indoor pools.
5. **Swimming Pool**: There's a riverside pool, approximately 4 meters long, which essentially served as a children's splash pad during my visit. Curiously, there were sun loungers by the pool, but no cushions, perhaps to discourage long lounging.
Let's move on to the pros:
1. **Summer River Access**: During summer, it's convenient for playing in the river and stream trekking. The hotel offers direct access to the riverbank, and the water felt shallow. Being close to snow-capped mountains, the water was likely quite cool.
2. **Service**: Upon check-in, guests are added to a WeChat group. Any requests made in the group were handled promptly, which I consider excellent and timely service.
To summarize, if the room rate were under 500 RMB, I might consider staying again. However, for 860 RMB, I don't feel that the environment and facilities justified the price.

When checking in, the front desk lady surnamed Wu learned that we were traveling with a family, so she upgraded the villa suite. It was very considerate! In general, the hotel environment is good. The suite with a small yard is very quiet and private. There are many hot spring pools. The elderly like the seawater original soup pool, and the children like the bubble pool and the forest glass waterway. I personally like the hot spring pool in the mountains, which is quiet and artistic. I will come again next time!

When I came out of Dafeishui and checked in, I didn't notice that the room type I booked was sold out because I was too busy, but the aunt at the front desk still checked us in (a better room than the one I booked). I can say that this is the best accommodation near Dafeishui, and the environment is still very good. 2. The location is a little low, because this place is indeed a bit far away and it is not convenient to take a taxi (this is also impossible, after all, Dafeishui is relatively remote, but this accommodation is near Dafeishui). 3. The uncle who is most grateful is that he knew we couldn't get a taxi last night and helped us find a way very seriously and patiently. It was really because there was no way, and we were students, and we still had to look at the cost when we came out. Later, the uncle directly offered to take me to Xiling Town for dinner and sightseeing, and sent us to the back mountain this morning. (Only charged us for transportation, which is really very cost-effective) The uncle has a very good attitude, speaks very politely, and also tells us precautions, etc. I really thank him very much. Of course, thank all the staff! If you want to live near Dafeishui, I still highly recommend Xiling Villa.
