Facilities: The hotel's 5th-floor observation deck offers unparalleled views, making it a perfect spot for photos. What's more, the cafe itself is lovely, a great place to sit and enjoy the magnificent Meili Snow Mountain. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and bright. The in-room amenities are also quite good, definitely justifying the price of the room. Environment: The balcony directly faces the snow mountain, allowing you to witness the spectacular 'Sunlit Golden Mountain' (golden peaks at sunrise) phenomenon right from your bed. You can wake early to capture some photos and then comfortably go back to sleep. Service: The staff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly. There are also two big, adorable dogs! The organized activities, such as fireworks, the Wéisāng ceremony (a sacred smoke offering), and 'Snow Mountain Night Chats,' were all excellent. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends who want to experience the snow mountains.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and it's a great bonus that breakfast and afternoon tea are included. Our room was spotlessly clean. The view of Meili Snow Mountain from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking; a truly thoughtful detail was the provision of a phone stand. A special shout-out to the two resident dogs, Tudou and Jingang! We even got to treat them to extra chicken legs. They are incredibly well-behaved, super friendly, and always there to greet you upon arrival and see you off when you leave.

The room facilities are all new and kept impeccably clean. The hot water for bathing was excellent, and the toiletries provided were quite premium, making it well worth the hotel's price. **Environment:** Being the off-season, it was very quiet. The view was good, although we couldn't see the mountains due to poor weather. The lobby felt warm and cozy, and two friendly large dogs added a charming touch. **Service:** Excellent. The pickup and drop-off service was prompt, and our butler was incredibly responsive to all our needs, even reminding us daily about special activities. Breakfast was decent, but dinner at the restaurant was just average.

We were upgraded to a better room by the staff, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room offered direct, unobstructed views of the snow-capped mountains. We could simply sit and admire the beautiful scenery from the comfort of our room. High-end Bvlgari toiletries were provided, along with disposable bath towels and other hygiene essentials. As we drove here, having a small underground garage for parking was incredibly convenient. I also noticed they had charging stations for electric vehicles. Furthermore, at this high altitude, having an elevator is an absolute lifesaver.

Everything turned out wonderfully, all thanks to a stroke of luck! It truly felt like destiny. Our room offered a direct view of the snow-capped mountains. Waking up, the first thing I saw was the majestic peak of Shennv Peak with just its tip peeking out – what an instant boost to my spirits! You could tell the owner put a lot of thought into the soft furnishings and amenities. Tudou and Jingang are two incredibly cute dogs! Tudou is endearingly goofy, while Jingang is lively and nimble – and quite the snuggle bug! Please be extra nice to our sweet, goofy Tudou!

Hands down the most satisfying hotel on our Yunnan trip. Both the service and the indoor and outdoor environment were absolutely impeccable. The service quality was on par with any five-star hotel in mainland China. The personalized butler service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They offer pick-up and drop-off services for guests, and organize daily entertainment activities within the hotel, such as Wei Sang rituals and fireworks displays. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, and they proactively inquire about guests' preferences for late-night snacks. Every single staff member was incredibly polite and friendly, and even the hotel's resident dog was exceptionally well-behaved. As for the environment, you can enjoy stunning views of the sun-kissed golden mountains right from your bed in the guestroom. The views and lighting from the rooftop café and observation deck were absolutely stunning; every picture is postcard-perfect. They even provide phone stands on the guest room balconies, making it incredibly convenient for guests to take photos.

This hotel is fantastic! You get stunning views of the snow-capped mountains directly from your bed. In the evenings, they even offer a complimentary warm, sweet soup as a turndown service, which is absolutely delicious. They also put on a small firework display at night, which is breathtaking! What's more, the hotel offers a free professional photo shoot experience (no hidden fees at all, seriously!). They take amazing photos and transfer them instantly to your phone. It's rare to find such a genuinely thoughtful and generous place these days! There are two resident dogs, and despite their size, they are incredibly gentle! I'll definitely be back next time I come to chase the 'Golden Mountain' views!

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, offering stunning views of Meili Snow Mountain from the rooftop, the restaurant, right outside the entrance, and even from the balcony of my room. The service was incredibly attentive; the afternoon tea, complimentary nightly sweet treat, and breakfast were all excellent. The prices at the hotel's in-house restaurant were very reasonable, especially considering its location in a scenic area. My room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly sufficient, and the hotel has an elevator. Staff were enthusiastic in helping with luggage upon both arrival and departure. Highly recommended!

I rarely write a review on my own accord but I'm reviewing on the bus back because I was quite impressed with this hotel. The staff was very kind to offer free cancellation for the next day when i reached out via wechat and told him i was a little unwell and may not be able to stay, even though it wasn't free cancellation by default. I recovered the next day and decided to still book a night with them. When I reached, the staff offered a free upgrade (same room style but with a bathtub and 1 level higher than what I paid for). They will pick you up and drop you off at the bus pickup point which is otherwise at least 6 mins walk away from hotel. There are lots of young staff working and everyone is polite. The dinner in the restaurant is a little expensive but decent (we are 2 small eater so we went for the 198yuan 1-person set - the tomyam soup was good!). There is a small fireworks show at 7.40pm everyday. There are 3 cute dogs in the hotel. The breakfast is a good spread and the afternoon tea was decent too. When you're here, remember to walk the left of feilaisi observation deck towards all the colourful flags. Just 2 minutes walk and you will get really nice photo of the 神女峰 which i shared here. Many people do not know of this spot. Put 3号观景台 in your GPS which is a further 15 mins walk and you get a really good photo of the main peak. It is extremely important to use moutain forecast to check the weather at 3000m and only come here when it's not cloudy. Our forecast the next morning was "some clouds" and it's good enough -saw a little bit of 日照金山 but indeed the sky was generally clear like the forecast. You can see sunrise at level 5 observation deck of the hotel and do not need to squeeze with the crowd at feilaisi 观景台. For comparison purpose I attach a photo on a "rain showers" forecast which is my day of arrival and you really cannot see much. So you must check the forecast before coming. Even though the hotel is a little expensive (I paid sgd171), I think the awesome location, decent hotel condition and all the freebies and good service made up for it.

The hotel location is super amazing, with the view of Meili Snow Mountain right in front of our room balcony. Or even on the hotel rooftop cafe. Plus, we got a super wonderful experience of their hospitalities during the stays. The staff is super helpful and the facilities and accommodation is beyond the standard. Will have a revisit thought again by any chance 😊✨

View from the room was incredible. Staff super friendly. Really enjoyed the roof top lounge area in the afternoon and perfect place to watch the sunrise over snow mountains. The food in the restaurant was also quite good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Overall it is very good

We stayed at the Wake Up Mountain Hotel in June 2024 for a week. The Hotel is wonderful. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are excellent, and the view from the windows of the mountains is fantastic. The Hotel also has a viewing area (and a bar) on the roof, providing the best sunrise view of the entire region's mountains. The restaurant has a great menu and excellent food; it is the best restaurant in the area. Finally, the staff Wenwen and others are wonderful, friendly and helpful. They arranged car and driver tours for us to travel around the area and addressed our requests. Excellent stay. They are highly recommended. Ken and Jacqueline
