"I was in St Andrews for business, and with limited hotel options there, I opted to stay at this hotel in Dundee for a total of 7 nights. It was absolutely perfect.
The location is superb, right outside Dundee train station, making it extremely convenient for trips to St Andrews or other nearby areas. There are also many great restaurants near the hotel, and a Tesco supermarket conveniently located on the ground floor.
The hotel is quite new and very well-appointed with all the necessary facilities, and the room layout is very practical. Despite its proximity to the train station, the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a very quiet stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly every night. The front desk staff were all very friendly.
What particularly impressed me was the hotel's cleanliness; they have a dedicated housekeeping team, and the rooms were spotless! The hotel also offers excellent value for money.
If I have the opportunity to visit Dundee again, I would not hesitate to choose this hotel!"
"Overall satisfied. Staff are happy to provide assistance; although parking space is limited, staff try to make arrangements for clients. Each staff member takes on many roles and is very busy, and they do their best to serve their customers.
When we arrived, the only elevator with direct access to the top floor broke down, and the staff arranged the top floor rooms as usual, requiring you to walk up one floor. Since it is more difficult and strenuous to carry luggage to the upper floor. I informed the staff and they were happy to transfer me to another suitable room.
There was a broken light at the entrance of the room, so they informed the staff. Since it was evening, the staff said they would find someone to replace them on Wing Day, but they didn't."
"The hotel was very close to The Caird Hall where we were going and near eating places and pubs. The room was lovely and clean with a comfy bed. The breakfast in the morning was a bit chaotic due to no tables being available but the food was good when we got one. Would highly recommend and book here again."

"Really love this hotel. It's right after you cross the bridge and turn right. You can see the river from here. The room is spacious enough, clean, and tidy. There's a large parking lot, big enough to accommodate all guests' vehicles."
"Quite decent, spacious and clean, friendly staff. It seems like there’s been some time since it was last renovated but everything is very well maintained and in working condition. Hot breakfast was okay, it was fun to cook my own waffle."
"Always my first port of call when flying to Dundee. Stayed many times never been disappointed
Many things to admire about the hotel but the friendly welcome from receptionist Lesley is a treat after a long day travelling. "
"The experience was great! It has its own small town characteristics. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The service was thoughtful and friendly. The location is near the Dundee bus station, and it is very convenient to take a bus to Dundee and then to the hotel. If I come again next time, I will probably choose here"
"Booked double room for me, my partner & my baby. The room was so tiny, the bed was extremely uncomfortable & had dirt on it. The dust in the room made it clear the rooms were not cleaned properly.
The room had a door that led into the room next to us, which was not safe for the baby. There was also no privacy, my sister and brother in law had a room opposite and you could hear them talking in there room.
Upgraded to a deluxe room after 1 night in a double room, which was so much better. It was a lot cleaner, a lot bigger and a lot more privacy. The only downfall was we were right next to the maids room and we heard a lot of bickering between the maids as the rooms aren't soundproof.
If you are planning to book here, I'd suggest just paying the extra for the deluxe room as it makes a massive difference.
The pool is decent, it isn't massive but is a good temperature so it is good for kids."
"The location is good, very close to the train station, right by the river. But the sanitary condition was not ideal, the equipment was average, and the unkempt water pipe for bathing was broken, so I changed it overnight. The mobile was filled in the room, and then I went back and asked, saying that I didn’t see it..."
