The room huge and located in the city .

The room was not big. I checked in at the front desk for cleaning but it was not cleaned.

The room was very clean and it was very convenient to go anywhere! There is a park opposite the hotel and the environment is very good! But there are two Premier Inns in Essen, this one is slightly outside, and the other is a city hotel (near the station). I almost stayed in the wrong place!

A lovely, modern hotel in a great location near the city center. The rooms are pleasantly spacious and even offer a suitable desk for laptop work. The breakfast is appealing and varied. You know what to expect from Premier Inn, and this one in Essen certainly doesn't disappoint.

This hotel is conveniently located just outside Essen center, only a short walk from Limbecker Platz. A public covered car park is round the corner, connected internally to the hotel lobby by a short corridor. The staff is polite and efficient. The rooms are clean and spacious. Ideal for visiting Essen center on foot. This summary sounds like going to a four point rating. Yet I have two issues with the hotel, causing a three point rating. The first issue is that the beds were very uncomfortable, a bit like a "torture chamber special". Secondly, I was disappointed that there was no discount on the parking garage tariff for hotel guests. But, as sleeping quality is a very personal experience, you may disregard this point and read a four point rating instead.

I stayed here for one night in mid-July. The hotel looks brand new. The room was small, but extremely clean and well-maintained. The neighborhood is quiet with a massive park directly across the street. It is a five-minute walk from the nearest Ubahn and bus stops. Even though it is not right next to the station, it was very convenient. The Limbecker Platz shopping center is attached to the Ubahn entrance. It was a great place to grocery shop and get our meals. Everything was very convenient. When I encountered an issue with my reservation, I called the hotel and spoke with Alina, who helped me resolve my issue immediately. She and the rest of the staff were very patient and kind and my partner and I had a wonderful stay.

It's good news, bad news. The Bed is very comfortable, and we slept well. The breakfast was good as well. Crisp croissants, great coffee and half a dozen loose teas is enough for us. The housekeeping is appalling. We were there a week, and the room was processed correctly on one of those days. The rest of the time there were items missing, or used glasses or cups not replaced. You can't phone reception because there is no house phone. There are no tissues in the bathroom so bring a pack. No pen or paper either. Let's hope the housekeeping issue is resolved before you visit. It's not a deal-breaker as the bed and the breakfast are both done well, and the location is superb.

I stayed here and on our second night, a member of staff came into our room, unannounced, at 0245. No explanation was forthcoming either then or later and Premier Inn Customer Service are simply ignoring it. I can only believe that the member of staff had done malicious intent either to us or our belongings. Stay safe. Stay somewhere else.

Een Compliment voor de meneer die alles netjes bijhoud bij het ontbijt. De tafels het het eten. Hij zorgt dat alles er goed en netjes uitziet tot in details en vriendelijk. Verblijf is erg goed

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich möchte mich über einen Vorfall während meines Aufenthalts vom 21.11. auf den 22.11.2025 in Zimmer 218 beschweren. Obwohl der Checkout offiziell um 12:00 Uhr ist, wurde bereits um 10:50 Uhr laut an unsere Tür geklopft, „Aufstehen“ gerufen und es wurden sogar Schritte in das Zimmer gemacht, obwohl wir uns noch darin befanden. Ein solches Verhalten ist respektlos, unangemessen und verstößt klar gegen die üblichen Standards der Privatsphäre und des Hotelbetriebs. Wäre es nach 12 Uhr gewesen, wäre das verständlich, aber nicht davor. Ich bitte um eine Stellungnahme zu diesem Vorfall und um eine angemessene Entschädigung. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Tadic

Ich habe seit vielen Jahren mal wieder in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Positiv: Frischer Anstrich, gute Betten inkl. Kissenauswahl, schönes Bad, 24-h Rezeption, gute Lage. Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat: Haare im Bett (brr...); es war sehr warm im Zimmer (Heizung / Klima war aus) -＞ Fenster zum Lüften aus Sicherheitsgründen nur kippbar; Seifenspender am Waschbecken ungewohnt hoch (kein Problem für mich, aber bei kleinen Menschen vielleicht); Flecken an den Wänden; nachts 2x von Lärm auf dem Flur aufgewacht (ein Gruß an die anderen Gäste, das ist hier ja eher kein Thema des Hotels). Frühstück: Positiv: Toller Kaffee; große Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Speisen (warm und kalt), Säfte, viel Wurst und Käse, frisches Obst und Obstsalat. Verbesserungswürdig: Welke, schrumpelige, teils harte (Aufback?-) Brötchen -＞ sorry Leute, da hilft auch die breite Auswahl nicht; nur Tomaten, kein sonstiges Gemüse; wenig Fruchtaufstrich. Buchungssystem: Trotz online Check-in wurde die Rechnungsadresse nicht übertragen und musste manuell nacherfasst werden - dann kann ich mir das auch sparen.

Alles super gelaufen, schönes Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, besonders die vielen vegetarischen und veganen Option. Toll war auch der Hotelangestellte Johnson. So viel akrebie und Engagement toll zu sehen. Wir kommen wieder, auf jeden Fall :-)
