"Just arrived back from a lovely 18 night stay here at Golden Moon Hotel. Rooms have had a re vamp from last year & are very nice, although I did miss the chair . The bathroom is unchanged atm. Bedding & towels changed & room cleaned every day. We didn’t do breakfast but lots of guests did. We where in room 202 and didn’t hear any dogs, cats, cars ect Air conditioning we fully working. Bar staff lovely, Alex & his brother ( sorry I forgot) If I had a gripe or two it would be , 1 - the grids around the pool where dirty & looked like they could do with a good scrub & the grid by the steps where broken . 2 - the grass in areas was mud, so when you got out the pool you needed flip flops on to walk back to your bed , my husband didn’t & got mud everywhere, on the towels , floor ect And also the sunbed mattress looked really bad Apart from that all good. We look forward to seeing you again soon."

"Back from a fantastic week at the Hisar and no complaints from us. Arrived and our needs were met by the team with no issues. Bags helped to the rooms and ready to start a week of relaxation. One of our rooms was in the block next to Eski bar so could have some loud noise, but as we never went to bed early it wasn’t an issue for us. We enjoyed laughing at the bar across the road from the balcony. The other room was at the opposite end of the pool, great location too. Rooms were always clean with fresh towels and bins emptied almost daily. Breakfast was basic but that suited us - scrambled eggs on toast, mushrooms on toast, beans on toast, oats and yogurt, fruits, cheeses. Always something a little different each day. Pool itself was great, as a fan of the shade I’d soon worked out where I wanted to lie. The other sun worshippers also were happy. We ate lunch at the hotel most days and dinner twice - the steak was cooked exactly how we like it and was an excellent size for the price paid. Salads were huge and pasta tasty. Cocktails by the pool in the afternoon were delicious. Eski bar was great fun - pool table to keep you entertained whilst waiting to meet others and great service and cocktails. Turkish bath in the spa below was relaxing and the staff so friendly. Not one complaint from us for this trip - thank you Hisar Holiday Club. We first came 20 years ago and will be back again soon."

"We had a swim-up room in a quiet part of the hotel, and that was the best decision. Having a pool right there with a sea view made our stay truly exceptional. 😍 The property is a three star hotel and it shows some signs of wear and tear (albeit being very clean), but the services, amenities and staff are certainly worth 4 stars. The location is about 10 min from the beach, if you walk at a swift pace, but it’s so much better than any hotel that is close to a very tacky and noisy main street. Note: the beds didn’t have standard linen. They made the beds with a bottom sheet but no top sheet. It was just a bedspread left at the bottom of the bed. That was unusual and not exactly to my liking. We spoke to reception who sent the housekeeping staff over to our room. We asked for sheets but it was clear this is how they made all beds and no top sheet was provided."

"During my recent stay at Orka Boutique Hotel, I encountered numerous service failures that significantly detracted from my visit to Fethiye, a location I had limited time to explore. My scheduled check-in at 14:00 was delayed without justification, despite my early arrival at 13:30. The front desk was unprepared, and I was instructed to return at 15:00. Upon my return, I was further delayed as the room was still not ready, prompting an additional wait after intervention by my booking platform, Trip.com. When I finally accessed the room at 15:30, the conditions were unsatisfactory: the bathroom floor was soaked, the kettle was broken, and the linens and desk surfaces were unclean. Despite reporting these issues, the hotel's response was inadequate. The manager offered only a re-cleaning of the room and disclaimed responsibility, attributing the mishaps to inexperienced staff rather than systemic issues within the hotel’s operations. Frustrated by nearly a half-day's delay, I decided to switch hotels and sought a full refund, which the hotel manager regrettably declined. This decision disregarded the considerable inconvenience caused and reflected a troubling indifference to guest satisfaction. After my departure, further attempts by Trip.com to obtain a refund from the hotel were unsuccessful. The manager's refusal to address the issues substantively not only compounded the initial grievances but also demonstrated a profound failure in customer service. As a seasoned traveller who has visited numerous countries, I have rarely encountered such a dismissive attitude towards guest concerns. This experience at Orka Boutique Hotel stands out as the epitome of service failure, highlighting a significant need for managerial accountability and improved customer care. Prospective visitors should be wary of this establishment, as my experience indicates a severe disregard for guest convenience and satisfaction. Moreover, the hotel is situated in a bustling urban area, both in front and behind, which greatly detracts from the peaceful, quiet environment typically desired for a holiday. Despite its ostensibly prime location, the constant noise significantly undermines the potential for a relaxing stay. Additionally, the facilities at Orka Boutique Hotel leave much to be desired. The reception area is particularly inadequate, confined to a mere 10 square meters with a small window and no seating available. Guests are forced to stand while waiting to check in, which, coupled with the apathetic demeanour of the front desk staff, further diminishes the overall hospitality experience. This lack of basic comforts and poor customer service at the reception starkly contrasts with the expectations set by the hotel's promotional materials, highlighting a significant shortfall in both amenity provision and guest treatment."

After the scandal, they changed our room to the same category, but much better - without extra windows, at a distance so there was no noise and it turned out to be much better. Breakfast is the same every day, there is no buffet, they bring 1 omelet for two, this happened to us for the first time, the staff is unpleasant, the only normal one was the guy at the reception, thank him for his kindness! We do not recommend the hotel for the price-quality ratio."
