The hotel is a bit far away from the city center, and it takes some time to reach the old town.

Booked a hotel on our way to Italy. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Easy check-in. Small but clean room. Ideal for a stopover. The hotel did charge us for accommodation again, but Trip.com refunded this in coins.

The rooms are functional and well-equipped. The self-check-in option is convenient if you arrive after 10 pm. Check-out is then unnecessary.

Definitely the best ibis hotel we have been to. Its an ibis budget, so everything there is basic as per the clearly shown pictures on their website. My two rooms were extremely clean and the hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly which was a great plus. Being asian, we are used to being rudely treated, so this was a welcome change! Only gripe was that the aircon in one of the rooms was not functioning well and blew semi-hot air, but the window could be opened, and that worked out well for us. Super happy with the stay!

I stayed for four nights. The hotel has everything you need to keep you going. I asked for a quiet room and got one. The breakfast was good, with people working hard to keep everything tidy. The location is definitely out of town. There is a bus route from the end of tram route 3, but it only runs until 7pm, and not at all on Saturdays or Sundays. The walk from the tram terminus is a good mile long. In daylight you can walk part of the way through a pleasant, old, wood, but I wouldn't want to go that way after dark. I did find the automated check-in a bit of a challenge but I got in eventually.

The hotel is perfect for short stays: free parking, clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I made a mistake with my booking and the staff helped me to find a solution and avoid any problems. Very friendly environment and overall good service for the price

A practical and modern hotel in the style of a Motel One. It's very quietly located with parking available around the hotel or nearby on the street in the commercial area. Helpful staff. Keys are available for check-in after 10 p.m. Breakfast is served on the ground floor.

We stayed at the B&B West Freiburg from December 31st to January 1st, 2025. We were not at all satisfied with the breakfast; there were no rolls or apple juice left. Either there was no one tending the buffet, or the lady at the reception desk was in charge and neglected her duties. I pointed out the missing rolls to her. She replied, "I didn't see them." After another 10 uneventful minutes, we left the breakfast room. The entire time we were in the breakfast room, the lady was on her cell phone.

I came across this hotel while renovating my apartment. Freiburg-West wasn't far away, so you can quickly get to the countryside, but the connections to Freiburg are also excellent. I had a bright, welcoming room and immediately felt at home. The rooms are quiet despite being located in an industrial area. The staff were friendly and helpful, regardless of who was on duty at the reception. The hotel advertises a rich breakfast – and rightly so! You have to search for restaurants or order something. I would love to come back!

Unusual for an Ibis Budget hotel. The Ibis Budget concept is clear, and you know what you're getting. Here in Freiburg South, you receive a very warm welcome, and everyone, both manager and staff, is very friendly and helpful. However, you sense an extra layer of spirit. Everything is clean to a very high standard, the hallway and room smell incredibly fresh, and you immediately feel at home. The rooms appear to have been renovated relatively recently, and I've never had amenities in my room at an Ibis Budget before, but I have here. The breakfast selection and presentation are more thoughtful than at many others. I was truly pleasantly surprised and can warmly recommend the hotel.
