"It's clean, the space is comfortable, and it's very close to a convenience store and a car rental company. It's also a short walk to take the highway bus. There's also a big supermarket where you can buy ingredients for cooking. The most important thing is that you can see the beautiful Mount Fuji just around the corner."

"The dirt floor was renovated to a nice feeling, and the kitchen was equipped with facilities that could be cooked enough if you brought in ingredients.
The bath was moldy, so I would like to make it negative, but the three rooms on the second floor, which became the bedroom, were very clean.
There were three washbasins, so it was good to stay in a large number of people.
I would like to use it if I have a chance to go nearby."

"Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The host came to greet us at the door, and ensured our comfort. We did not speak the same language, so we used translators to communicate with each other. Everything at the house was extremely clean. He will help you with any problems. He tried to help order us a taxi, but then drove us to Fuji Station. He was extremely kind, and I would love to stay at his home again in the future."

Outstanding
SSTReceived the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear.
The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed.
We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat.
Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure
CC.H.Very nice hotel with great service. The garden is really nice to walk around with river flowing through it. Rooftop onsen in the evening as the sun sets is the highlight of the trip. The drum performance at night followed by bingo game was really captivating. Shoutout to Yumi who guided us to our room and explained all the hotel amenities and services. Food is extensive though taste wise in find not as tasty as what was offered in Tokyo. Tips: wake up early to take pic of Mt Fuji as I noticed by 11am the mountain was already hiding within the mist.
GGuest UserOverall, we were extremely satisfied. It's conveniently located right behind Mount Fuji Station. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely Nordic design. The twin beds can be combined into one, which is perfect for families with kids. The shower has excellent water pressure, making it very comfortable.
DDean Darron AlbertusThis accommodation is superb, facilities are amazing, units are huge, gadgets are phenomenal, views of the mountain is spectacular, free shuttle service is fantastic.
The service is excellent, there is one tiny area of improvement, due to my lack of understanding the complex transport network in Japan, my land arrangements were somewhat daunting. When asking for help/advice at reception, the staff’s knowledge of what is available in what is a major tourist destination is lacking. There is a free shuttle bus that does a loop every hour and would have ben ideal to go to the lake area, however we only discovered this once there, and this was after asking the staff directly.
But all in all , I will be back
PPpemikaI arrived late at night from Fuji Station and had to pay 3,700 yen for a taxi. I was surprised when I got there because the house was located on a hill and the road was very dark. I asked the taxi driver to wait while I walked down to check. Luckily, the lights were on and I found the host waiting to welcome us warmly, even though it was already late.
Owner had already prepared hot water and asked what time we would like to take a bath. She even guided us to a small onsen. The host was very attentive and kind.
Although the place looked a bit scary at night from the outside, the inside was very warm and cozy. When I woke up the next morning, I felt completely rested. The room was clean, and the host’s hospitality made the whole experience feel so worthwhile. I felt like the money I spent was totally worth it—it gave me not only comfort but also beautiful memories.
The atmosphere was like staying in a countryside vacation home—quiet, peaceful, and heartwarming.
If you’re planning to rent a car, this is definitely a place I’d recommend. There’s a parking space, and it’s not crowded at all.
I truly want to recommend this place!
GGuest UserThis was the most disappointing hotel stay of this trip, and quite possibly the worst service experience I've encountered in all my visits to Japan. We arrived at 8 PM only to be informed that the hotel's hot spring was closed. What was truly outrageous was their nonchalant suggestion that we take a taxi to an external hot spring to 'enjoy' ourselves, at our own expense. Is that considered customer service? To make matters worse, the staff member seemed to think this was perfectly reasonable. I was genuinely speechless by his attitude. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and requested a Chinese-speaking staff member to translate, he simply disappeared, only to return much later without offering any satisfactory solution. As for the room, it was truly an embarrassment to Japanese hospitality. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel; the value for money is abysmal.
The only silver lining was waking up to a magnificent view of Mount Fuji right outside our window. I must, however, commend Ctrip; they provided solutions for this dispute even late at night, and their proactive follow-up was truly exceptional.
GGuest UserThe hotel I booked when I went to Fuji-Q Highland was spacious and comfortable, about 10 minutes from the subway station. The hot spring ♨️ was very comfortable, and the hotel waiters were very friendly. The barbecue on the first floor was delicious, and it snowed the next morning. It was a perfect experience.
OOopotatooGreat hostel! Most people staying there that I spoke to were climbing Mt Fuji via the Yoshida trail so the staff were very helpful with that, and there’s loads of information on their board about it (although little info on the other trails so if you’re doing another one like I did then make sure to research about it beforehand).
GGuest UserLocation is perfect for people with cars!!! There's plenty of food options down the road including McDonald's KFC, daiso just next door, convenience stores across the road, petrol station at the traffic junction, and of course Mount Fuji view from the hotel room!!! Mount Fuji view is not easy to catch during winter season as the sky gets misty easily, so being able to view Mount Fuji in the morning upon waking up is just perfect.
Complimentary onsen for hotel guests too, which is payable for public (see picture for price list).
Hotel also provides fresh towels and amenities set every morning by hanging a bag on your door, which I think is rare for Japan hotels as most of them advocate ”save the earth” so no change of daily linens.
Only slight issue is that the hotel is quite dated, which can be seen from the carpet stains along the walkway and walls etc. But still functional so not a major problem to us!
天天天就想玩We stayed one night and hired a driver for the trip. The view around there is beautiful, waking our just a few meters away there is a donki donki, where u can buy some things. And Walking along the street there are a few restaurants. Good point is we booked a family villa. There are two floor and two toilets.
The bathroom is relatively small but ok for most Asian size.
Hotel breakfast is just simple bread and cereal. So i would suggest to eat breakfast not in hotel. You can grab some food in hotel, but probably you will need to plan for another meal soon . But that’s totally not a problem at all as if you are travelling around the attractive places , you will easily find good food to fill your stomach . Overall this is a very great place to stay if you have own transport
