"I went in after check-in time, but the bath wasn't ready. It was in the room so it wasn't a big problem, but if you're on a pilgrimage, you'll want to complain. It's probably unavoidable due to the location of the inn, but since it's the main intersection in the town, the pedestrian signal sounds are pretty loud until 10pm. The signal doesn't change to a flashing light even after 10pm, so the sound of the engine revving when it goes from red to green is quite loud. Finally, it's great that the toilet is in the room, but it was annoying that the washlet didn't work."
