It was very comfortable given the large temperature difference between day and night at high altitudes. The room was well-maintained, with all necessary disposable amenities provided. They even had complimentary bottled water, and there was also free purified water available in the lobby. There was a restaurant nearby, making dining very convenient; the food was delicious. Check-in was quick, parking was free, and it was great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone driving to Golmud!"

However, the lighting in the corridor needs improvement. Staying here offers a perfect experience of the Gobi Yardang landforms, with a small salt lake within the camp for close-up viewing, various delicious foods, and bonfires and fireworks in the evening. The camp also has a large slide, rock climbing, and other activities suitable for children and teenagers, making it ideal for couples and family trips. We even received a free face mask and snack gift box upon check-in. It was a delightful surprise during our Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop trip, and we highly recommend it!"

Beyond the standard budget hotel offerings, there were some nice touches: plenty of space to put things, several comfortable chairs/sofas, a humidifier, a vanity table, a full-length mirror, a dedicated cabinet for bath and hand towels, sterilized plastic slippers, a smart speaker (Xiao Ai), and complimentary brewed tea at the front desk. Breakfast was decent, though the plain congee and fried rice could be improved. The parking lot is large, and there's a delicious boneless meat restaurant nearby."
