"I recently stayed at Hotel Clad during my trip to the Fuji area, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable—perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to that iconic silhouette was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel itself strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and serene simplicity. My room was clean, well-appointed, and designed with a minimalist aesthetic that made it feel both calming and functional. The large windows made the most of the surrounding nature, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the amenities and layout. One of the highlights was the onsen. It was such a treat to relax in the hot spring baths while gazing out at Mt. Fuji—an experience that felt both peaceful and luxurious. The onsen facilities were clean, well-maintained, and never overly crowded. The hotel is also conveniently connected to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, making it easy to enjoy a bit of shopping or grab a bite without venturing far. Despite this proximity, the hotel maintains a very tranquil atmosphere, which I really appreciated. Overall, Hotel Clad is a perfect base for anyone looking to explore the Fuji area in comfort. Whether you’re there to hike, shop, or simply take in the views, it delivers a serene, scenic, and satisfying stay."

"The hotel is relatively close to the outlets, though it's still a bit of a walk. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room to spread out our luggage! We had fantastic, direct views of Mount Fuji from the hotel. Upon check-in, each person received a complimentary bottle of water and a pumpkin soup. However, the downside is that dining options are quite a distance away, and even convenience stores require a bit of a walk."

"I was very satisfied with the accommodation, which was like a condominium-style villa. I stayed here on a golf trip, but there are still many golf courses nearby that I would like to play at, so I would like to stay here again next time. I look forward to staying with you again."

"Highly recommend edit x seven to everyone here, starting off, location to gotemba outlet ＜2km away , it was ideal and you could either take a taxi or walk which was perfectly fine ! around the area ＜10 mins walk there was other food eateries too !! the view of the room was great and was super blessed to see mt fuji every morning when i woke up hotel staff were all friendly and great and amenities to the hotel were all clean/ new !! did not try the hotel breakfast though love it here! will come back again , checkin and out process was super smooth too!"

"The property is located next to the highway, with no restaurants or shopping centers within walking distance. However, this is not an issue if you are driving. The place is new and clean. Although the staff do not speak English, they are helpful and accommodating. The onsen is small, but I'm still enjoyable and relaxing"

"The hotel has friendly staffs and comfortable futons. The onsen including two outdoor pools can see the mount fuji and is surrounded by greenery. There was also a free drink bar with manga corner that you can hang around and enjoy the mount fuji view."

"Very Big Room with Fuji Mountain View. The staffs are very nice. Once I forgot the room card and phone to went to Onsen, a staff helped me check my identity and opened the door for me. On the check-in, our toilet door has some problems and I reported to the staff. A manager came very soon, check the door and tell us there was not engineer at that moment and she proposed room swapping for us. As it's a minor problem, we declined the offer. In general, this is the most luxury hotel in Japan I've been. Really enjoy the hotel and Onsen."

"Friendly staff, large room and generally clean. Clean and large bathroom, comfortable bathtub with massage. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, not much food to choose from. Stayed two nights, and when I returned to the hotel the next day, I found a whole bag of garbage next to the small table. It was surprising that it was not taken away! The refrigerator in the room is not cold enough There are many restaurants, shopping centers and supermarkets around the hotel, which is very convenient Overall hotel comfort"
