We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Hotel itself is very close to the train station and plenty of mall and eateries. On top of that they have in house facilities to keep you entertained and massage chair to end your hectic day.
Staffs here are absolutely amazing and very easy to communicate. One of the FD helped me extend my check out till 2pm as our flight was in the evening. I forgot to take his name but thanks a lot for that.
Even the concierge staffs are so amazing and friendly, felt so safe and welcoming everytime we came in and out of the hotel.
We will definitely be back here and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Convenient location. Good housekeeping staff. Front desk staff shouted on the phone for us to check out but I have already extended my stay on my second night. Poor internal communication should never be taken out onto the customer.

Hotel is connected to Teemall so we were well shieldied from summer heat and subsequent heavy rains due to typhoon Wipha for shopping and meals. Chinese restaurant serves good Cantonese cuisine and buffet restaurant had very generous spreads like oyster with caviar and free flow wines during dinner. Rooms had great views of sunset and even saw rainbow after heavy rains! Hotel was also responsive to requests to make my 81 year-old mother more comfortable and safe like providing a chair in the shower. Also surprised me with a birthday cake, thank you Sheraton!

This is the second review from me for the Hotel.
As i mentioned before everything was amazing, i stayed 4 night with my cousins we booked two room, and everything goes well. We have very warm and nice welcome and services ( especially Olivia❤️and friends there with the same shift duty). The hotel location superb, cleanliness very good, even we try their treadmill😁. They provide hot tea, sweet ice tea and coffee at the lobby for free! Which was amazing for us🥰. You can go anywhere easily, we shop till we dropped!🤣. We can find so many good restaurants surrounding!😋
Will staying again while we come back to Guangzhou!

They have cute robot send anything to your room
The most favorite this hotel is beside shopping mall and MRT , they have connecting door between your hotel and mall , just walk through and you find MCD, BreadTalk, go to basement and they have supermarket, and so many good and delicious restaurant, go down again they connect to MRT GANGDING (line 3 orange)
Exit A (easy to go everywhere), and remember if you go EXIT C you will find electronic mall then find lift to go level 4 you will find most famous dimsum restaurants 点都德

The service is enthusiastic, the hotel is well-equipped, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and you can even see the Guangzhou Tower; the rooms are located on a high floor, which is quite impressive.

I believe cleanliness and service are the most crucial aspects of any hotel, and this Sofitel truly excelled in both. The front desk staff were highly professional and courteous. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional warmth and hospitality from the Guest Relations team – Kitty, Tina, and Luna. These three young ladies provided outstanding service. Even during the post-checkout follow-up call, they patiently inquired about my experience, and any concerns were promptly addressed. Very impressive! The hotel's breakfast spread was extensive, offering a wide variety of delicious options that clearly appealed to many guests. Overall, a fantastic hotel experience.

Perfect stay! We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel mainly because of the fantastic service. Thank you 小余 for going above and beyond to help us in the late night!
The location is great - a short walk to many huge malls in the area, and also quite close to the Guangzhou Railway Station. It’s also right beside a train station (though we didn’t take the train).
They have all the amenities you can think of here, just ask and you’ll receive. Hotel rooms are clean, water pressure and temperature is perfect.
Free cocktail during your stay here, also free breakfast, tea, and supper. Includes instant noodles, cereal, snacks, pastries, fruits, dessert, etc etc.
Can’t rave enough about this place :)

Having booked the room through Ctrip, the hotel proactively confirmed my arrival time and the purpose of my stay before check-in. Upon learning it was for our wedding anniversary, they kindly arranged a complimentary cake, which was absolutely delicious (chocolate flavor!). The room's facilities were impeccably maintained. The overall color scheme was classically comfortable, and the suite's layout was very well-designed.
Turn-down service has always been a hallmark of Mandarin Oriental. However, I was a little disappointed that the Guangzhou MO surprisingly didn't provide a sleep spray on the bed or offer memory foam pillows, which I've come to expect. Nonetheless, the spa and the Mandarin Cake Shop were truly commendable.

As a family with two young children, including an infant, we chose a staycation this time and booked the hotel's Grandview Mall play package. We arrived very quickly from Panyu. Our Ctrip membership benefits came in handy, allowing us a complimentary room upgrade. We checked in after a short wait and enjoyed afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. The upgraded room was very spacious, giving our infant plenty of room to crawl around, and our older child was also thrilled. The only slight disappointment was the lack of a baby crib; we've stayed at major brands like Hilton and Holiday Inn before, and they always provided them, but this hotel didn't. We had to request many pillows and blankets instead. We were too tired to try the swimming pool, so both the adults and kids just enjoyed a relaxing bath in the room. The next day, we visited the Grandview Aquarium, which was very convenient. We had the buffet breakfast and an all-you-can-eat dim sum selection at the hotel, and the dim sum was of excellent quality. I've known about the Grandview Marriott for many years and have shopped at the mall countless times, but this was our first stay. I noticed many international guests, which suggests it's a popular choice for tourists. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

GGuest UserVery close to the Chinese teacher, two hundred meters into the campus, the location is very good, in the Huashi subway station C exit upstairs, there is a lot of food downstairs, there is also a supermarket, very convenient, added the housekeeper WeChat, took me to two places, the room allocation is very user-friendly, I chose the all-girls dormitory, there are few people. The rooms, bathrooms, and facilities are very new and equipped with everything. Suitable for long-term rentals and short-term stays. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

The staff were incredibly thoughtful; I couldn't make it back by the 12 PM check-out time, and they kindly extended it for me until 2 PM.

It's also conveniently close to attractions like Canton Tower and the Guangdong Museum, making dining, entertainment, and transportation incredibly convenient.
What truly impressed us was the hotel's service: During check-in, they helped us activate a free membership, and any issues we encountered were promptly resolved. They even offer complimentary laundry service, with cleaned clothes delivered right to our room. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating when we needed to store our luggage and asked for bottled water. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave our child a small toy when we checked out. Absolutely fantastic! 👍

AAnonymous UserThis experience was not exactly the best we’ve had. We are a family of four. We booked a Duplex Suite for the whole family, and based on the photos, everything looked perfect.
But no – when you arrive at the place, it’s completely different.
Be aware that this is an old building, so you can’t expect everything to be new. There may be a musty, old smell. It wasn’t the best experience we’ve had — they use plug-in air fresheners to try to cover the odor.
The worst part is that you can still smell it no matter what. In the large bedroom, it’s the worst!
It didn’t feel clean even with the daily housekeeping. They don’t mop the floors or vacuum — you can still see hair lying around. Cups aren’t cleaned or tidied either. Most of the time, you have to ask, or it won’t be done.
We also noticed that the towels weren’t very clean — there were stains all over them.
The toilet also had some issues flushing properly.
There’s a serious lack of charging outlets, and most of them don’t even work.
This hotel really needs some upgrades.
That said, the suite was large and spacious, with plenty of room. One thing we were happy about is that they provided a good amount of bottled water every day.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is good, close to metro station but not close to 珠江新城, my room size doesn’t has a desk to work, the shampoo botols is sky high attached in the bathroom (not easy to take) but they have alternatives. Good thing is they have excellent service staff but the downside is there’s no room phone, only can communicate via WeChat.

GGuest UserThis hotel is attentive, the environment is very good, the facilities are complete, the staff is warm and professional, the room mattress is very comfortable to sleep, in the bustling area of Tianhe, not far from the Gangding subway station, the traffic is super convenient, check out free of inspections, free deposit, save a lot of time, wifi is also very good, it is recommended to stay!

The room was better than expected! It's not noisy, and the hygiene is pretty good. An auntie comes to clean every day, and the cleaning and replenishment of items are also very standardized.
The bedding and towels are relatively dry and comfortable.

I saw this hotel near Zhongshan Third Hospital on Ctrip with a special price of only 90, so I confirmed with the owner that there were rooms that met my needs and decided to book this hotel. It was already very late, but the owner was still very patient in helping me find a room that met my needs and also upgraded the room type for me for free. The hotel room was clean and the location was also very good. Although it was near Zhongshan Third Hospital, it was a quiet place in a bustling city.
