"An unexpected 5-star gem in an 'off the beaten path' location. Meticulously restored and maintained, beautifully furnished. John was the consummate host and an excellent chef (breakfast was delicious, and early at our request). From the convenient off-street parking, to our very spacious two-room suite, to the complimentary beverages and snacks, and all the little extra amenities more common to a luxury hotel (as well as a hot tub), it was perfect. And quiet."

"This is a lovely place in every way! The beautiful house is part of a family farm of 400 acres. It is private and quiet and has a great walking area through a towering patch of bamboo that leads to an old family cemetery. My bedroom was in a grand library and had its own bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I slept with the windows open and woke up hearing birds singing. The breakfasts were delicious and the proprietor was thoughtful in asking about food preferences. She is a wealth of knowledge about local history and landmarks. This BnB has also been recognized for “f Green” initiatives and boasts a charging station. This is one of my favorite BnB’s I’ve been to yet."
