Pros: location near the river's pedestrian promenade, beautifully decorated nautical-themed rooms, and non-smoking rooms that are truly free of cigarette odor Cons:no English-speaking and not very friendly staff, no access to washing machine or drying machine, room card not working, so I had to call the staff every time I opened the door from the outside, and they couldn't fix the card in 3 days

Small city , good for 3 days , russian vibe , kind people

The hotel is out of the central tourist area but easily accessible via bus and subway. However, there are some construction noises every single morning around 6am to 8am during our stay, and that was quite disturbing. Free afternoon tea is just a self-service snack corner (with only 2 choices of snacks). Overall, it's just ok but no complain with the cheap price.

The facilities were very old. The hallway carpet and the room floor were stained, bumpy, uneven, and unclean. There was dust in the corners, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom sink had a lot of rust stains under it, and it was secured with wire. I wanted to call the front desk, but the phone in the room didn't work. The room had no windows, the lighting was dim, and it smelled a bit damp. There were no other rooms available, so I just made do with my two nights. The only good thing was that it was right next to the river, very close, and convenient for boat rides. The breakfast was very simple and not very tasty, but it was filling. The boiled eggs were cold, and the pickles were not good, not as good as the zha cai (pickled mustard tuber). In short, they were not tasty.

The experience was very good. The shower head had a large amount of water, and the wash was very comfortable. It was quiet to rest at night. There were morning and night markets nearby, and the transportation was convenient. You could stroll along the river at night.

I thought it was the perfect value, but it turned out to be cheap but not good. After two days, I was so nauseous I just went back home to sleep and put it off. Choose carefully; there are plenty of clean hotels at this price.

I booked this hotel because of its special style and the unusual accommodation experience. The front desk staff was very cold when checking in, and it felt like they were not well trained. The room was also a bit strange. There were only two bath towels in the triple room, no bath mat, the water flow system on the floor of the bathroom was blocked, and there were no bathroom shoes. The toilet door could not be closed, and it was very inconvenient to take a bath. The style of the hotel is very good, but it lacks maintenance and management. If it can be improved, the overall experience will be 60 points.
