GGuest UserA hotel that must be praised! There is nothing wrong with it except that it is expensive! In fact, from the perspective of cost performance, it is really worth the money!
From Figure 1, you can clearly see that the hotel occupies an island (Is it the only hotel that I can take this angle? I am proud). It takes 7 minutes to walk from Kii Katsuura Station to the pier. The reception of the hotel is next to the Nakatora Store. You can contact the hotel in advance and pick it up at the station. After that, the staff at the reception will send you to the pier to take a boat to the hotel.
The hotel is a modern and fashionable new Japanese style, very beautiful! The most basic room type we booked is also very large and the room is beautiful!
The hotel meals are very good, one dish after another, and the tableware is also very beautiful. There are Japanese and Western breakfasts, and some buffets. We stayed for two nights and chose different types. The dinners for two days were also different, and they were all very good!
There are free drinks in the lobby and the rest area on the room floor in the afternoon and evening. There are wine and snacks in the lobby at night, and popsicles are available for free 24 hours.
The hotel hot spring is large and beautiful. The men's and women's pools will be exchanged in the morning, and there are foot baths by the sea and foot baths on the mountain. There is a trail on the mountain, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Ki-no-Matsushima at the end.
The hotel service is impeccable! Everyone is very enthusiastic. The smile of the driver at the reception is unforgettable. When we checked in, Song Teng enthusiastically explained the use of various facilities to us who did not speak English. Every employee in the restaurant served us enthusiastically... Thank you to every employee!
I will go to this hotel again if I have the chance!

YYutunyueWhen I wake up every morning, the sun shines on my butt. Outside the window, Qiaohang Rock is soaked in the sea water before the tide recedes. Usually, not many people stay in the hotel, but the night of the 17th was an exception, because the rocket 🚀 was launched at 11 am on the 18th, and many people drove RVs here. The front desk of the hotel was very nice, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was conveniently separated into dry and wet areas. There was no meal, but the supermarket in this station was very delicious, especially the Red Angel Roasted Sweet Potato 🍠, which is worth a try.

It’s summer in Japan and the swimming pool is empty & closed.?? Surrounding landscaped areas not well maintained.
Rooms & corridors delight you with a musty aged smell that takes time getting used to.
Positives:
View of surrounding coastline excellent, sunrise beautiful.
Room’s good size. Buffet Breakfast decent with options
Afternoon & Evening free snacks & drinks a bonus.
Negs:
Customer service adequate but can’t say a lot of enthusiasm.

AAdrianoI'm a little bit disappointed considering the price they ask. The only unique benefit of this hotel is the cave onsen, which is amazing. The room seem to have been refurnished a few years ago, so it's only slightly worn. The hallways and common areas however are stuck in the 1960s and smell of aged PVC floor. So if you like japanese retro this is your place. Honestly the cheapness and age of these common areas is unacceptable. They need to urgently renovate these areas, then it would be a very nice hotel.
Also the amenities are sparse. There is no welcome drink or complementary drink bar, compared to almost every other japanese Hotel.

CChin KongVery nice seaside hotel located within walking distance from train station. They plan the breakfast and dinner so meticulously that they ensure you enjoy different set meals everyday. For early birds, you’ll get a complimentary drink for dinner. Staff are friendly and approachable. It also comes with onsen and complimentary coffee and noodles.

TT.LiIt doesn't feel like it will pick up a tour group, it is very suitable for self-driving tours; the hot springs are well maintained and the sea view is very beautiful. Even at night, the garden around the hot springs is also very beautiful. You can enjoy the hot springs peacefully.; the service attitude of the hotel staff is also super good.

HHayley122I originally wanted to book Daogui or Wanqinglou, but they were full during the New Year and the price was very expensive. I chose this Japanese-style hotel and was pleasantly surprised! You must book a hotel with breakfast and dinner included. Each dish is very distinctive, and you can see the careful management of the store. I stayed in a double room with sea view and a Japanese-style room, and I was very satisfied. They were spacious and comfortable. When I opened the curtains in the morning, I could see the sea view, which made me happy physically and mentally! It is close to Moutian Island and not far from the station. There are not many people in the town. Be careful not to walk to the car lane, as the cars drive fast~

YYouziのbinvThe location of the hotel is relatively remote, so don’t be misled by other guests’ reviews. You can walk 1.4 kilometers from the station to the hotel 😓 It actually takes a long time to walk, and you have to go through 3 tunnels, especially the one near the hotel... The sun was so strong at noon, and there were no lights in the tunnel. It was so dark that I couldn't see my fingers. It was quite scary. However, the hotel staff were very nice and enthusiastic, and most of them were elderly uncles.
The room is very old, like it was built during the Showa period. There is no way to check in before 3pm. However, the open-air hot spring is very good, surrounded by mountains and sea on three sides, and the indoor hot spring is extremely hot... I checked in at the end of November and almost fainted in it. If you want to go to the station, the hotel has a free bus to take guests from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning, so be sure to plan the time in advance. The hotel's breakfast is quite rich. If you are not particularly picky about taste, you can still eat it!
