"Perfect in every way. Spent 5 days there for our daughter’s wedding. The event planning was seamless and within 5 minutes of getting to the inn after the ceremony everyone was so impressed with how elegant everything looked. No matter what we needed the staff was right there to help. Accommodations were perfect for our group. Really everything from the delicious breakfast, cozy setting, fireplaces…. Everything is set up to make for a relaxing but luxury experience. Highest recommendations go to deer mountain inn. Can’t wait to go back"

"We love the northern Catskills, and this location on Hunter Mountain is great. We don't ski, but we come off-season in the spring or summer or fall, when the area is beautiful and green. We have stayed here a number of times. We like the look and feel of the hotel, and the staff is friendly. This is a typical skiers hotel, with matter-of-fact rooms, but they are large and well laid-out, and the hotel offers a nice deal on a family double room. We ask for a valley view, which looks out across the small town. The one issue is the food. The restaurant has no character and the food is bad. We usually drive into Tannersville for dinner."

"We were here for the first time this week, to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We came for dinner, although after being here will try to make it back to stay ASAP. Every person we interacted with was professional, friendly, and went above & beyond to make our anniversary special. Our server (who I'm so sorry, I wish I remembered who it was because they were so wonderful) made several menu recommendations, all of which were very good. In fact, everything was very good, and we agreed that while we've eaten at some special places before, this is now at the top of our list. They were very helpful in making suggestions and substitutions as I am gluten free, and neither of us could believe the bread was gluten free, it was that good. There was a couple planning their wedding a few tables over from us, having the best time, and I can see why - this would be a fantastic place to have your wedding. The atmosphere is so charming, the food is delicious, everyone who works here seems to be dedicated to providing a great experience, and honestly no detail seems to be not thought of. 10/10, will definitely be back. Thank you!!"

"We stayed here for one night while attending the NORA Hunter Mountain off-road tour and received a discounted group rate. The location was perfect, the room was clean, comfortable, and better than I expected. The staff and restaurant were excellent, I really enjoyed the pizza, and our waitress was fantastic. My only suggestions would be to add a microwave to the rooms and keep coffee available throughout the day. The light continental breakfast was appreciated, but everything was packed away fairly early. The only reason we didn’t stay longer was the room rate. I completely understand that resorts have seasonal and event pricing, and I may simply not be the target guest for that pricing. Had there been an opportunity to extend our stay for another night or two at a reduced off-season rate, we probably would have stayed and explored the area a little more. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay, were treated very well, and wouldn’t hesitate to return if our travels brought us back to Hunter Mountain."
