The staff were very pleasent and accommodating, the pools were nice and clean, unfortunately the beach in front of the hotel is terrible, there is no beach directly in front of the hotel and the rest of the bay is covered in oil and quite unkept.

An old hotel which is still holding on to dear life. Service is average. The only good thing is the tolls are decently priced for the size they offer.

The Briza was lovely, great room, and perfect for a honeymoon. A little bit out the way but within walking distance of Chaweng. We wanted to bring the bed home it was that comfy. Nice and chilled!

The hotel was nice, but needs upgrading as the room was partially updated, but they should have done it all, as it looks odd. Identity was not clear as looked old and new as the same time. Hot water was not working for 2 days of the stay. Service was good overall and porters took our bags to room which was great as there were lots of steps and our room was at the end of the complex. The door to room was old and opening the door was an art. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. I think the worst part was we went to the BBQ and fire show on the last night. We thought as we were going on flight to the net island we would be safe at the hotel. I had the seafood BBQ and the food tasted and looked overcooked. I ate some but left quite a bit. In the night is was very ill and in the morning i told the staff as we left. She rang the manager and she said that they could not do anything as nobody else has been ill and reported it. It was 6am as we had an early flight. I have been to many hotels and if this was the case, they would have accepted my word. I was not after the refund of the meal as this would not help my situation. But more the acknowledgement of their failure to provide quality food on the night, especially considering the rating of the hotel. I ended up being ill for another night. I could not eat for another day and i had a trip to Phi Phi island the following day. I was up all night, but with medication i was able to go on the trip. I dont think the hotel realised the impact their poor food had on my experience and holiday. I would say it was very poor service and if nobody else complained, as most people dont, they would not accept responsibility. Also, they put the onus on my to email them to see if anyone else was ill, before they would do anything. That is just terrible customer service. Who ever the manager is need to be retrained and taught about how to treat customers who have had a bad experience.

Nice resort but can do with some reservations. Amenities can be improved too as what is offered is below its own concept standards. Only 2 bath towels provided, adding hand or face towels would be good. No pool towels in the plunge pool room, having it would be nice. Umbrella is damaged so can’t use it properly, room maid should check these things. Only 2 pillows provided, having 4 pillows would be nice so each person can have 2 pillows for comfort sleeping. Rooms with Plunge pool should have its own on/off switch for guests to operate instead of having to call reception to turn it on every time we need to use it. The water flow in the bathroom shower and wash basin is not consistently flowing with pressure, it low and high water pressure.

The check in was smooth. Plenty of stairs so we ended up helping the porter which was fine but was pretty ugh carrying it up, checking out. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in (106) was nice for a short stay. Loved level 2's facilities they have 2 fridges. One for each floor. That was a pleasant surprise. I didn't see any tissues provided nor toothbrushes. No hot water in level 1 bathroom. We got caught in a downpour one night, and hairdried ourselves warm after showering again in cold water. Housekeeping was prompt n thorough everyday. My only one gripe was they switched off the pathway lights after a certain time and personally for someone drunk to come back, stumbling down the stairs is just an accident waiting to happen. I had kids so I was worried about them tripping after coming back from dinner n walking in Chaweng. I just don't think it's safe for the older travellers too. The breakfast was basic. Order off a breakfast menu. But overall, for a food nights rest, good bed, ac and wifi.

The staff where very friendly and helpful the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was a little poor could do with a bit more of a selection. The location was great for us not to busy and not far from the busy area with bars and night life. I Would definitely recommend a trip to Wat Plai Laem temple. We hired bikes from the hotel to get there.
