This was a great stop for us. Although a little dated and the hotel could do with an overhaul it was clean, staff were outstanding, a lovely park area and lots of walks. The hotel is right on a public transport system so the bus collects you from the carpark. Great addition. Our only problem was the water pressure but we noticed them working on this. The balcony was great for sunsets and sunrise 🌅

If this is not your last minute or emergency stay option, better to spend your money on something that worths.

Disappointing stay – definitely not a 4-star hotel The room was very old and dated. It was also so small that I couldn't even open my suitcase properly. Instead of a balcony, they should have chosen a slightly larger room. The bathroom was incredibly cramped – you could barely move – and it was also filthy. There was also a very nasty brown stain in the toilet that couldn't be brushed away, which felt really unhygienic. According to the website, this hotel was rated 4 stars, but that's absolutely not the case. There was no air conditioning, no coffee maker, or even a kettle in the room. There were also no extra pillows. When we asked for them at the reception, we were initially told they weren't available. Only after insisting did we finally get them, after a considerable wait. The receptionist was on her own and had to fetch them from other rooms. The breakfast was very meager and rarely replenished. The ladies serving breakfast were unfriendly, and many items were already gone. Finally, the location is very remote, on top of a mountain and far from the center. The value for money is absolutely not worth it. For what you get, you pay far too much. Definitely not recommended if you value comfort, cleanliness, and service.

The location was great, but the hotel is quite outdated and in need of renovation.

Great place to stay for a day, surrounded by nature. The city is a bit far away, but you know. We had no hot water all morning, so we were there overnight and couldn't shower. Unfortunately, we told reception, but they can't arrange this. A bit strange. The interior is a bit dated and could really use an update.

We liked everything, the location is super) 🙂 the only thing is that the sound is very loud, especially if the toilet is flushed in another room

The hotel is on the top of the mountain and is relatively old. Breakfast is average and there are no commercial facilities around. Suitable for overnight stays.

Alles war insgesamt sehr schön – Zimmer, Service und Ambiente haben uns gefallen. Besonders im Restaurant fand ich die netten Hinweise gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung sehr sympathisch. Allerdings endete das Frühstück um 10:30 Uhr und unser Tisch wurde sofort abgeräumt, sodass auch die Speisen auf unseren Tellern weggeworfen wurden. Man wollte also Verschwendung vermeiden – in Wirklichkeit hat man aber genau das Gegenteil gemacht und die Verschwendung auf die Spitze getrieben. Das nennt man wohl Ironie in Reinform. 😏 Mein Vorschlag: Ab 10:30 Uhr das Buffet schließen, um neue Entnahmen zu vermeiden, den Gästen aber noch 15–20 Minuten Zeit geben, damit sie ihre Teller in Ruhe leer essen können. Das wäre im Sinne von echter Nachhaltigkeit.
