Have booked this hotel stay after reading the review and wanted to try during our this trip. Hotel person-in-charge 阿飞 contact me via WeChat and liaised on the check-in details via WeChat. He is prompt in responding and helped us to arrange and pre-booked our tickets to the snow mountain. As well as our driver to our next destination. We were impressed with the hotel after check-in. Hotel ambiance is simple and cozy. The room is nice and clean. Downstairs have washing machine and dryer for use free of charge. Hotel is located just in the heart of the Lijiang Ancient Town. Convenient to travel around to shop, eat and drink if you like. You can also ask for recommendation from the hotel staff as they are nice and friendly and prompt in assisting. Will definitely come back and stay here the next time.

The hotel reception staff ah Fei in particular has been providing us with many tourist information such as a place to visit, foods and souvenirs to bring home

The owner of the hostel is very nice and friendly. Can look for him (阿飞） for any good recommendations for foods, travel advice, souvenirs, and how to travel around locally. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, good for couple and family and even solo traveller. The location is super convenient, is within few min distance away from LiJiang ancient town.

Excellent service by the team in the hotel. Everyone is very very sweet and very helpful. Ah Fei took us for shopping in the old town and brought us to genuine shops and offered discounts. Highly recommend to stay here!!

The hotel is beautiful and clean, located not far from the north entrance. The rooms are large, lovely, and spotless. Highly recommended! A big thank you to Afei for taking such wonderful care of us at Songzhuju. He gave us a warm welcome and kindly helped carry our luggage all the way from the gate to the hotel, which was so convenient. He also guided us to many amazing spots we were interested in — from the Flower Cake bakery and great tea shops to a store where you can try on traditional costumes and take photos around the Old Town. We’ll definitely be back if we get the chance

Very Beautiful and comfy and clean hotel. also Very convenient as the hotel located near the north gate of old town. For us as muslims this hotel not far away from fes Halal restaurants which located near the north gate. The guy at the hotel, Afi really helps us alot, very fast respons towards our inquiry, and always smile to us. He arrange to pick us up at the airport which is free from the hotel and he arrage transport for us from hotel back to the airport with affirdable price. For breakfast we didn’t have any since our trip everyday start as early as 6 oclock and breakfast ready at 8 oclok. The hotel also own coffee shop right downstairs, so you can grab some coffee.

We loved the location, the room and the comfy bed. It was easy to arrange the pick up at the train station. Cassie gave us a very warm welcome with tea and organized a wonderful trip to the snow mountain and the lake for us. Easy communication via WeChat. Thank you for making us feel home away from home. When we decide to return to Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again! 🙏 P&L

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and decorated in a minimalist style. It’s conveniently located just 160 meters from the North Gate entrance of Lijiang Ancient Town, only a short walk away. The owner, Afei (阿飞), is very kind and friendly. He came to pick us up at the gate, helped carry our luggage all the way to the room, and always replied quickly on WeChat. We even contacted him while we were still in Thailand, and he kindly helped us order local snacks from Chinese websites. Highly recommend this hotel, you won’t be disappointed!

Conveniently located within the Lijiang Ancient Town, very short walk from the exit and main road. Very friendly and helpful host 阿飞. He helped to arrange pick-up from the train station and gave us recommendations on dining and attractions.

Having Afei's help was the highlight of our stay at Songzhuju. We don't speak Chinese, but Afei was happy to communicate with us through WeChat and Translation apps to check in on us, coordinate the booking of activities and recommend shows, restaurants, souvenir options, etc. Afei was quick to assist us when we were a little confused about locations, when we were feeling unwell from altitude of our mountain day trip; and when we needed to reschedule timing of activities. The location is excellent; approximately 100m walk to the North Gate which is the meeting point for all our Didi pickups and dropoffs. It is right in the hub of Old Town so it's so easy to explore on foot and very safe. There were a mix of travellers staying at this accommodation; including people who could communicate in Chinese and also people who couldn't. We were in the Luxury Queen room. Our room was exactly what we needed for our stay in Lijiang. It was on the upper level which is just one flight of stairs up; with large windows looking down to the lovely courtyard. Tea on arrival, Complimentary Breakfast (traditional food: rice noodle soup, cracker, fruit, sweet potato) and complimentary pick up from airport (included with our room type) was so appreciated and made our Lijiang trip nice and smooth. There is a washing machine and dryer which we made use of during our stay; and there is a coffee shop attached to the accommodation as well. Thank you so much Afei for all your help in making our experience and this accommodation so memorable for us.

I want to recommend this place for everyone so they have a good place good service. The hotel staying infront of north gate. The room are beautiful and they have a coffee shop inside.

This inn is very good, with convenient transportation and a rich variety of breakfast. Tang Tang will make a travel plan for us and bring oxygen bottles to Yulong Snow Mountain in advance.

This hotel is very good beause of the location not too far from main road. It is easy to walk to other nearby places. The hotel is very beautiful, comfortable and provided a lot of amenities. The staffs are very friendly and helpful if we needed them escpecially Cassie. She can speak english, so it is easier for foreigners to commmunicate as english speaker is very limited here.

This hotel location is very strategic, located in the Ancient Town but not far from the main-road, easy to access. The staff really helpful and will explain to you very details. During check in and check out they will help to bring your luggage to the main-road using the tricycle. I would recommend to those traveller that looking for affordable stay with a good location & service.
