"The Running Horse is a very good personable country pub with rooms which are very well appointed with comfortable beds.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and we had a business lunch in their semi private room which was simple but excellent.
The only reason I marked them down a little was because of several carpet stains that I do feel should be removed - or if not removable then they should put in a new carpet as they were large and off putting.
Highly recommended!"

"We were looking for a place to stay whilst we visited Winchester and decided to go here.
The room was spacious and the air con was lovely on a very hot day.
The bed was lovely and comfortable and was nice and clean.
Will definitely book you again to experience the spa side of things in the future"

"Friendly staff who were helpful with giving advice about local activities and restaurants. Lovely garden, big comfy bed and well furnished room. Slight mix up about payment on leaving, but resolved with out too much hassle."

"The location is perfect and walking distance to main sites. The Japanese restaurant is also wonderful. The room is clean and spacious. However, data access and wifi is limited. Overall it was a very wonderful experience staying at Kyoto room"
