"This is the best hotel i stayed so far. I give rate 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Me and my family love to stay here especially my 3 years old daughter because this hotel is so kids friendly. Everything is good about this hotel. Food is good and many choices. The staff is friendly. I love the environment, very cozy and suitable for family staycation."
"The ratings given are in the context relevant for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel.
I have rated Hotel Lam Seng as GOOD overall for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel.
Pantai Remis is a typical small Malaysian town where the different races live side-by-side and each goes about with their lives in relative harmony."
"The room was comfortable and well-equipped. However, unlike before, the hotel no longer offers free dedicated parking for guests. Guests now have to purchase parking coupons on the spot to avoid getting fined. Otherwise, everything was perfect for me. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in my hometown for business or Eid celebrations. Thank you."
"Stayed for 2D1N on a weekday with my wife and 1-year-old baby. The room and hotel were satisfying, with a strategic location—walking distance to many restaurants, a Speedmart, and Lumut Waterfront. However, the beach was not suitable for swimming due to oil and dirt. The breakfast buffet was also not great. That said, I still think this is one of the best hotels available in Lumut, and I would consider staying here again."
"Surprisingly nice bathroom, lighting is good, and nothing to complain about for the budget price.
Great location as it is just across the road from the famous Cheong Via Gong Plian - ( Pie ), I bought 30 pieces of them, and I queue was for 30 mins to get it ."
"This hotel is in a great location in Sitiawan, the rooms are big and clean! The front desk ladies and handsome guys are very enthusiastic, and they are all Chinese (from Fujian), so there is no problem communicating in Chinese! The hotel is very safe. The room service staff will not open the door to enter the room unless you actively request to clean the room after checking in! The Indian restaurant opposite the hotel downstairs is very unique, delicious and not expensive; the Binbin Bak Kut Teh restaurant diagonally opposite downstairs is even better. The Bak Kut Teh with fried dough sticks is delicious and authentic, and the stewed pork kidney is also very unique! There is also a 711 convenience store not far from this restaurant, which is very convenient for buying some travel supplies. Sitiawan Hotel is highly recommended!"
"I'd booked for this hotel via online in trip.com apps. The rate for online booking is RM 92.47. Due to my late check in, I asked my friend who stayed nearby to the hotel to check in the room first. As a normal practice, my friend put a deposit for RM 50 at the counter. To be surprised, the staff issued a receipt of the deposit and room rate for RM 84.15. There's a difference of RM 8.32. As far as I'm concerned, we'll get a lower price when booking online rather than walk in.
The cleanliness of the room is not in perfect condition as the bedsheets and the floor are dirty. I'm sorry to comment on this as to ensure the hotel management asked the housekeeping staff to do their jobs properly."
"Very spacious & comfortable room. If you want to pray, there is a lot of space, ready to gather again. The TV is ready to watch YouTube again. Wifi is also fast. Very strategic location 🫶🏻 will repeat again soon 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The room has a fan & aircond 👍🏼👍🏼"
"The room is very humble but has the basic necessities such as body shower, air cond, towels etc but not toothbrush and knowing it is a budget hotel, then just acceptable. Not oku friendly as dont have lift. HOWEVER, the view in front of the hotel is INSANEEEE. Near the jetty for going to pangkor which is a pluss. Very worth the price! Shall book back if coming again"

Great
BbillykunI stayed here to recuperate after breaking my ankle, and I felt that they were always considerate, such as when boarding the boat and the location of my room. All the staff members had excellent hospitality. Best of all, the facility is surrounded by nature, which allowed me to forget about everyday life and relax. Next time I'd like to participate in the activities as well.
SSaadiah21Avi Stay Pangkor is a cozy and affordable accommodation option on Pangkor Island. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering good value for money. It’s conveniently located near shops and local eateries, making it easy to explore the island. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Ideal for budget travelers looking for comfort and convinience
SSheremetovWe stayed at this hotel in February 2020, everything was fine, we liked everything. After 5 years we decided to repeat. It turned out in vain. We arrived in February 2025, we got room 102 on the 1st floor, last time we lived on the 2nd floor. Everything was significantly outdated, the bed linen seemed clean, but was very washed out after prolonged use, the fasteners on the glass partition in the shower had rotted, the entrance door and the door to the toilet close and open poorly. At night we woke up in an anthill. Hordes of ants were walking from the wall to the bed. Pros: good location, the sea is across the road, a good pool, water, tea, coffee were brought to the room every day, cleaning was also every day, the water was hot, the Internet was sometimes available.
BBen 911The hotel is decent with nice service staffs. They are always ready to help you. The room condition shall be improved, particularly cleanliness.
In general, the hotel is ok if you have budget constraint. One good thing is there are beach fronting.
SSiyam MiahThe location was amazing. The vibe and surroundings were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The villa itself was great, but the service could use some improvement. It's a beautiful spot, and with better service, it would be even better.
NNaz Kamala quick one night stay with affordable price. one way to teluk nipah. not so distance but need transportation to get from jetty to the hotel. comfy bed, clean shower. coffee, tea & hot water at the lobby, but accessable up to 10:30 p.m. only. there's duty free shops, convenience store nearby - just a walk away.
AAnonymous UserHygiene Issues
Unpleasant experience that the bathroom had visible mold, and there was a strong smell lingering in the air that even spread into the room. Additionally, the bedding caused skin irritation, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. Hope management takes immediate action to improve Hygiene standards.
SSyzLnMy family and I went for a staycation to Teluk Batik. It’s quite near to the beach. There are a lot of parking but make sure you download “Park@Perak” apps to avoid from “kena saman” 😅. Overall the room is quite spacious but unfortunately my room got no mirror in it. Just one mirror in the toilet. The room is also convenient for my family to stay. Overall 3.5/5
GGuest UserThis is my first trip to Pangkor Island. I had book this hotel last minute in Agoda after I bought the ticket for last ferry 7.15pm from Marina to Pangkor. I had choose this hotel because I had see the review is not bad with 5star review for all the review in year 2020 and they rank 5th for overall best hotel in Pulau Pangkor. When I arrive at the hotel, there is nobody there for me to do the check in. I am thinking the staff maybe out to buy or having their dinner. But after a while 2 of the staff is back in the property and told me they are not expecting any guest so they went out to buy dinner. After thinking a while, it is not surprise as they not expect anyone today. First I only do the booking not long ago so they may not had received the email from Agoda. Second, today Malaysia recorded the highest day for people infected with Covid-19. As this 2 reason, they sure will not expecting any guest for the day. But this not concern me at all, because I am having great time while staying at this hotel. Below are all the reason which I will highly recommend this hotel to who had read my review here. 1. The hotel rate is reasonable. The room is chalet/villa type which the room rate is cheap. 2. This hotel had been newly renovated so it is cosy to stay. Please do not read any review before year 2020. They had renovated the hotel in 2020, all the furniture is new and the stay is cosy. 3. The staff and management is very friendly. They will assist you in what they can. 4. There is a fews bicycle to use for free at the hotel. 5. The location is very good. Walking distance to the Pasir Bojak Beach. And there is a lot of Chinese and Malay restaurant nearby. (Fully recommend “Chao Seng Seafood Rstaurant” nearby) 6. There is a few motor bike or car rental outside the hotel which for sure will be convenient for you to ride around the island. (Recommend to take a bike and you can ride the bike for island tour) I feel so relax and happy for my 3d2n trip while staying at this hotel. Will come back to stay here for my next trip to Pangkor Island again. Again, Tripadvisor had not disappointed me when I am searching for a hotel stay to a place which I am not familiar. I hope with my review I can make this property to more higher ranking so that everyone will be happy to discover this hotel.
CCazuhI slept in this hotel during my stay in Pangkor.
I recommend it because it is near the Ferry which makes it easy to arrive and leave the island.
I recommend renting a scooter from this hotel, it will allow you to discover the island very easily.
