Stunning location! Walked into the lobby and was floored by panoramic views of the cape. The hotel isn't modern or new, but it's well-maintained. Stayed in the tatami room and it's extremely spacious. Opt for the dinner buffet as there aren't lots of dining options unless you drive. Breakfast was full of Western and Japanese options. Oiishi!

The location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time. The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home. Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff. Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite. I will definitely be returning! I

Driving to the hotel is difficult. You have to go through the public parking lot, and the entrance doesn't have English signs. I went past it and had to turn back before I found it. Although it's an old hotel, it's very clean. Although most of the staff don't speak English well, they are very friendly and polite. I loved the room and the view. The hotel has a large bath and open-air bath facing the sea, and on a clear day, you can enjoy stargazing. The morning and evening buffets are delicious, with seafood, and the desserts are excellent. Very scenic views (for ocean facing rooms) and comfortable Japanese style rooms. They also have Western style rooms. The breakfast and dinner buffet was excellent with lots of tasty seafood, but they did not have the famous local oysters during our stay. Beautiful, but steep, walking trails down to Jodogahama Beach. We didn't use the onsen, but I'm sure it's very nice.

The view of Jodogahama Beach from our ocean-facing room was amazing and moving. The staff were also very kind, welcoming our children with smiles. The buffet was of a very high standard. I was also impressed by the excellent service provided by the venue staff. The all-you-can-drink option is highly recommended.
