"We stayed at Moalboal Tropics and were very happy with our choice! The hotel has a beautiful, green area full of palm trees and cozy corners. The pool is clean and large, with a fun waterslide for those who like a bit of action. There are also massage chairs — a nice bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Breakfasts are simple, not very varied, but everything is fresh, tasty, and filling — you definitely won’t go hungry. The staff are very polite, always smiling, and ready to help. Everything is clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi works well throughout the property.
The hotel is conveniently located: close to the Gaisano Grand shopping mall and the bus stop for trips to Oslob and Cebu City. You can easily get to the sardine run and turtle beach by motorbike or tricycle — it costs around 100–150 pesos."
"Service is great, the staff are very helpful. We booked local tour and transportation there for a reasonable price and is very convenient. The hotel private beach can even see sea turtles!"
"A wonderful hotel, next to the sea, a 3-4 minute walk, also not far from the location where you can eat. We had a wonderful room, right in the house where the ladies themselves live, who run the hotel, lovely 3 sisters. We left, we didn't even lock the room, everything is completely safe, There are 3 more rooms nearby, like a bungalow. The garden is very beautiful on the territory. A kind dog Geloxy lives in the house. There is water in the shower, the bed is comfortable, we took a bike and went to the nearest beaches, the nature is of course incredibly beautiful.
There are a lot of turtles in the sea and of course sardines, it's spectacular.
We will definitely come back!"
"Casablanca Inn was exactly what I needed. Beautiful property. Very clean. The salt water pool was wonderful to relax in. The staff were all amazing. All of them willing to help with whatever I needed. The owners were lovely! Nick and Raquel hit it out of the park with this place. Check it out."
"This resort has a relaxed and peaceful vibe, not too crowded, yet well maintained and located just in front of the sea. Garden is beautiful, swimming pool very nice with two slides that kids love, you can snorkel at their beach, we even saw a turtle. Rooms are clean and comfortable, their menu is extensive, you just need to find your favourites. I would definitely go to Hale Manna again!"

"Really lovely friendly people, directly on the white sand beach away from the hustle and bustle. Supplying simple food and drinks as you sunbathe. Hosts organise all transport and activities at your request and at no personal cost. Fifteen minutes trike ride into town at a reasonable cost!"
"This is the perfect hotel when you visit South Cebu. The Sardines Run, Turtle view and coral are all in the front of the hotel. No need to rent a motorcycle or hire a tricycle."
"A VERY good hostel. Not close to the road or the shore, it offers a service of free shuttle, so it’s not that bad. And the walk is 15, so not the end of the world either.
Most importantly, it is one of the very few hostel that whatever the time of the day, you can see employees working on the place. Cleaning, fixing, building. We can sense that the place is loved and care for, and it feels good. Also great kitchen and rooftop. And the staff helped me on specific demands. I extended my stay."

Great
GGuest User1000% recommend. Probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. I booked an extra day when I was there as it was so chill and easy to relax in. Dorm rooms and showers was super clean and comfortable. Every staff member was so lovely and welcoming and easy to talk to and always went out of their way to help you. They also know people by name which is so nice when there is so many guests, just such a family friendly vibe. The pool and swim up bar was a plus. Free tea, coffee and a water dispenser available all day. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and hopefully will come back one day!
GGuest UserI can confidently say this is the best hotel in Moalboal, it outperforms other 3-4 star hotels in the area. I know this because I spent my last two nights at another 4-star hotel, which really difference. The location is very good, with restaurants and bars steps away, The prime location puts restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, Rooms come fully equipped and impeccably clean, while the staff go above and beyond with their genuinely warm service. As a solo traveler, I particularly appreciated these qualities and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling alone.
KKarinaKVery beautiful hotel in Greek style, white and blue. Immersed in flowering trees. The hotel has 2 residential floors and access to the roof. The view from the roof is very beautiful. The room had a kettle, refrigerator, welcome coffee and even tea. There is constant access to drinking water in a cooler on the floor. The water pressure and temperature in the shower are good. You can dry things after the sea in the backyard under the roof (constant protection of drying clothes from the sun or rain). We liked it, the shore is close. The photo shows the view from the roof of the hotel.
Pph37czThe room was pretty clean and there was an aircon inside. Bedsheets were not clean enough. This hotel doesn't offer a towel.
As for common bath and toilets it was also not clean enough, there was toilet paper inside cabins but they don't offer a shampoo/shower gel as well. There was hot water in the bath.
Located too far from bus station and cheap food markets but just in 5 mins walking distance from beach.
The staff was welcoming and friendly.
于于The hotel is strategically located, with the seaside and natural ecological environment. With the PADI Dive Center, you can book a variety of deep dive, snorkeling projects, and the coach is enthusiastic, the service is very thoughtful, for our sake, I feel so lucky to meet such a hotel. In terms of food and beverage, the hotel itself has a lot of food and drink supplies. Due to the tired diving every day, it is regrettable that we do not drink happy hour cocktails. Because on the beach, there is a short road that is very bumpy. If it can be repaired, it will be more perfect.
GGuest UserGreat place to be.
Amazing beach that’s called the Mushroom rocks. You can observe it during the stay.
Amazing view from the beach or from the rooftop bar where you can see the other island, sea in all of its beauty. Aaaand don’t miss a chance to observe the stars out of terrace. It’s amaaaaaazing.
Restaurant’s right on reception. The food is tasty, especially we liked spring rolls and Wild Orchid omelet. You can chose any table you like (right in front of the beach, on a cafe territory, the rooftop bar or the number balcony.
Pool on common territory is wonderful. Clean, different depth, instagramly. But the best thing, there are no people or maybe few.
Nice staff on reception and kitchen.
Clear, comfortable room. Nice place to come back!
AAnonymous UserI had a pleasant stay at this hostel and really enjoyed the overall experience. The staff were friendly and the service was great, which made me feel welcome. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent — fast and reliable, perfect if you need to work during your stay.
That said, there’s a little room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and amenities. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a fishy smell that could be addressed to make the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, I’d recommend this place, especially for those who need good internet and friendly service, and I believe with a few improvements it could be even better.
GGuest UserI booked this hotel after reading other people's reviews. I was shocked when I got to the room. The big bed was made of two mattresses. There was no mattress or quilt, just a thin sheet. When I asked for a quilt, they gave me a torn blanket. They said that was all they had. The sheets and blankets were also for singles. The air conditioner was a window type, which was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The rain shower had its own ideas and didn't give you a good shower. The water heater was electric and it was hot and cold. Domestic guest houses are better than this.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel!!! We were there from 30.04 to 5.05. Cozy hotel with polite and attentive staff. It is not very new, but everything is in good condition.
The hotel is located on the 1st line, a restaurant with very tasty food and cocktails right on the shore, which adds to its romance. Here you want to spend time contemplating the water, the sky, and people’s lives. The hotel has a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a pleasant massage in a gazebo, etc. for an additional fee. Very green, with its own small beach.
We lacked a kettle and cups in the room, but you can buy boiling water in the cafe, which a hotel employee will bring to your room.
About a 30-minute drive away, we recommend visiting a conningere and spending 2 hours by car to swim with a whale shark, and you can swim with turtles and sardines near the hotel yourself or order an instructor.
We had a great time!
JJulianOnTheGoMy toilet wasn't working, so I moved rooms where the toilet was also not working. Not a great start but it got fixed. These guys have roosters as neighbors which didn't do me a lot of good in terms of getting to sleep well. The location also isn't great, everything is going on at the beach and with a tricycle it still takes some time to get there. The staff are helpful and really kind though.
