"Most of the objects, streets, and facilities are from at least a dozen years ago. Half of the shops on the entire street are closed, and many of the shop doors and windows are damaged and covered with thick dust. The hotel seems to have not been updated for decades. All the facilities have a long history. The wardrobe is a product of the 1960s and 1970s. The air conditioner is new but cannot be used. Fortunately, the staff are very enthusiastic."

We travel a lot and it’s hard to find good pillows , these are great , bed giant and very comfortable, even toilet paper quality is great . "At first I didn't like the look of this hotel. There was graffiti outside and my room was cold. I spent most the night looking at more expensive hotels. The next day I was glad I didn't change to another hotel. The heater in the room eventually did its job. The location turned out not to be so bad. The breakfast was good. The desk staff were very helpful. It worked out well, but next time I would book a hotel near Pocitos."

"Run down hotel. Location is not very safe. We arrived by car and there was no one outside to greet us and tell us where to park to do our check in. There was a. Security person who showed up later but he was talking with someone else. Meanwhile some unsolicited characters showed up. The concierge was on his break. After I asked the people parked on the reserved space to please move, I was able to check in. This must have been a nice hotel but if feels old and stale. The towels in our room where very used and thin. The bathroom downstairs is old and unkept. Not worth staying"

"Very dirty hotel, the photos do not reflect the reality of the hotel, the rooms lack maintenance with dirty and moldy sheets. Breakfast was another disappointment, with only a few options and no fruit. When we arrived we thought about looking for another hotel, but losing $660 for 3 nights is not easy. It has enormous potential, but it needs to be managed by professionals or acquired by a network. Don't waste your money on this hotel, there are other much better options in Montevideo for the same price (Sofitel, Montevideo...)."
