Excellent
JJulz d’traveller*The staff are nice to accomodate us.
*The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car).
*The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee).
*The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area. They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city.
*Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees.
*The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers, toothbrush, hair dryer, kettle and 2 bottle of water.
*Last picture was epic:)
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located at the foot of the mountain. We arrived at noon and could easily return to rest after our afternoon hike. The hotel isn't large, but the service was very warm and attentive; they patiently answered all our inquiries. Due to management restrictions on Hengshan Mountain, cars can't go up the mountain, but the hotel offered timely shuttle service. Surprisingly, the hotel restaurant was quite good, including barbecue, though the prices were slightly higher than in the county town, the portions were generous. If you're planning a relaxed trip with elderly people or young children, I recommend checking in at noon, hiking in the afternoon, resting at the hotel, visiting the Hanging Temple early the next morning, and then returning for a short rest before checking out.
GGuest UserLocation is pretty central, short walk to ancient city.
Room was super clean, comfortable and modern.
I came across 4 staffs on my stay, all of them had limited English skills but all were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to help me :)
They gave a little cute welcome pack with snnacks too, a nice surprise.
Certainly would recommend this place and would stay again.
XXiaodeshimeihaodeI chose this newly opened hotel when I visited Hunyuan Ancient Town. The location is just across the street from the scenic Yong'an Temple, Yuanjue Temple, and Confucian Temple. There are various small shops, including food and hair salons, on both sides of the hotel. Parking is available in the backyard. The hotel is well-equipped with smart technology, especially the bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. I'm very picky about bedding, and the bedding here is very comfortable, and the pillows are perfect for sleeping. The hotel service is excellent. The front desk and the manager made me feel like family. The manager even provided us with a travel guide, which I'm very grateful for!
11366132****The hotel is located right by the roadside. It's a budget hotel, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, leaving a lasting impression. Our stay was a pleasant surprise, far exceeding our expectations. From the moment we entered the lobby, the staff's friendly smiles and efficient, professional service impressed us. The rooms were elegantly designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet with ample water pressure – every detail reflected a commitment to quality.
The hotel's meticulous service was particularly commendable: upon learning we were traveling by car, they proactively offered suggestions on nearby transportation. This provided a perfect way to relax after a long journey.
The excellent location, comprehensive facilities, and personalized service complemented each other perfectly, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It wasn't just a place to rest during our trip, but also a part of a wonderful memory. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit, and we will highly recommend it to our friends and family!
AAnonymous UserFacilities: Newly renovated, new facilities, no odor
Sanitation: Clean and tidy
Environment: In a village, there will be dirt on the road into the village, but it is clean and tidy when you enter the hotel. There is a self-provided backyard parking lot.
Service: OK. It was a temporary decision to visit the Hanging Temple Hengshan the next day, so I decided to stay nearby for convenience the next morning. I didn’t choose much when I looked at the hotel on the platform, thinking that the newly opened ones should have better facilities. When I checked in at the hotel front desk, I was told that I had upgraded the room type to a higher floor. Although the room is not big, it is small but complete, and it is convenient to stay for one night and the next day.
The village is quiet and restful at night, and the breakfast is basically satisfactory, with coarse grains, staple food, protein, fruits and vegetables, and yogurt.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is perfect. It is the right place to stay when visiting the Hanging Temple and Jin Temple. The room and bed are large, especially suitable for bringing children. It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.
CCaihuaxiaomeiLet me talk about the pros. The breakfast was quite plentiful and tasty, 68 yuan per person. Our child, being 15, paid an extra 40 yuan. We booked three rooms together. The rooms were decent for a five-star hotel, and the lobby was beautiful. Now for areas for improvement. Aside from the good security guard at the entrance, the service could be better. Since it's a hot spring hotel, the hot spring itself is important, but it was rather mediocre. Of the 12 pools, some were 58 degrees Celsius, some 48 degrees, and only a few were usable and small. Also, because so many people were crammed into a few pools, they became quite dirty. All three families stayed for an hour before leaving. There were too many access control points. For a hotel in such a remote area, I don't understand why there were so many access control points and card swiping systems; it was very inconvenient. I didn't intend to give a low score because the front desk gave us a complimentary breakfast, which was a concession.
