Koh Phangan District Mountain view Hotels

A wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

I'm not a believer, but I can tell you that paradise exists, and it's right here on Earth! Everything was perfect. Since I couldn't get around easily, I called reception, and literally two minutes later, a little taxi took us wherever we wanted to go—restaurants, the pool, the mini-market. The pool is incredible, truly paradise, just like I said. The staff were top-notch, the rooms spotless, and the views, wow! A big thank you to the whole team ❤️

We stayed for 3 nights, which felt like more than enough time before heading to Koh Tao. We had plenty of time to visit the viewpoint and take photos everywhere without the crowds of day-trippers. It truly felt like we were on a deserted island! The room had everything we needed: toiletries, hot water, a fridge, a kettle, tea, and coffee. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was included, even though it wasn't mentioned in the booking. For breakfast, they bring you a sheet where you mark what you'd like them to prepare (the menu is consistent, but you can choose how your eggs are cooked and your coffee – the coffee seemed to be instant). There are two restaurants on the island: one on the hotel premises where breakfast is served, offering European cuisine. The other is further down, near the 'spit,' and serves Thai food with more reasonable prices; day-trippers often ate there. Prices are higher than on Koh Tao for obvious reasons, as there are no shops. However, there's a free daily shuttle to Koh Tao and back, which is convenient for longer stays. For example, a 0.33L beer on the island costs 120 baht, a mango shake is 150 baht, and dishes start from 300+ baht.

A hotel that captivated us! A heavenly place – for me, everything about this vacation and hotel was perfect. We stayed in 6 hotels during our trip, and I give this one first place. Beach The beach is truly a paradise, the most picturesque on Koh Phangan (we visited all the tourist beaches). The sea is ideal, clear, and calm. Grounds and Accommodation The hotel grounds are extensive, like stepping into a jungle. We rented a large two-story house, and when we opened the door, we were amazed by its spaciousness. The hotel is older, but it's meticulously maintained and renovated. Dining Breakfasts are varied and delicious, served on a veranda with a beautiful view, which makes mornings especially pleasant. Activities and Sports The hotel has a large gym, and regular yoga and stretching classes are held, which helps you completely relax and rejuvenate. Staff and Service The staff and service are 5-star+. When we left, I couldn't hold back tears – that's how wonderful and heartfelt it was. Thank you My thanks to the management, staff, and everyone involved in creating this little slice of heaven. We grounded ourselves, immersed ourselves in nature, and truly rested. Until we meet again!

I really liked this hotel. The breakfasts were excellent. You order your main dish as soon as you arrive, and they bring it out in about five minutes. Everything else is buffet style. This hotel is only suitable for those who drive a car or moped. You can rent a moped right there, and the prices are good. They have a selection of Honda Click 125 and 160 models. We rented a moped for the entire week of our stay and got a discount. Just a heads up, the uphill climb isn't for beginners; assess your capabilities and weight, as a 125cc might struggle with two people. There's a path to the beach, but since we had a moped, we never used it. Because the hotel is located high up, we often slept without air conditioning. Our room had a mountain view, and the windows opened and had screens, so we had no mosquitoes. Plus, the balcony wasn't facing a courtyard, so we could relax there peacefully without anyone seeing us. The rooms on the second floor with a pool view have one drawback: you can't open the window in the room. The ones closer to the entrance are better and have openable windows, but people walk right past them, so you'd have to sleep with the curtains drawn. Unfortunately, rooms were only cleaned upon request. It was only towards the end of our stay that we realized we could get water and fresh towels ourselves. Trash by the pool was collected once a day, or even less frequently. Empty bottles and dishes could sit there until the next evening. It was very strange; the entire property was cleaned daily, but the pool area only every other day.

This hotel is truly lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and I can genuinely recommend it. The location is a bit secluded, as the area is more of a party spot known for its Full Moon parties. When there isn't one, the place feels like a ghost town, and so does the hotel. So, if you're looking for peace and quiet, it's perfect. The service is exceptionally friendly and reliable. You have to keep in mind that there are tides, meaning the sea is shallow at certain times and you generally can't really swim. But the beach right outside is beautiful and unique.

Great stay, all of the staff were hard working, and friendly but Catalina, Moe and Aaron were exceptional and a credit to the team. Good location, comfortable room,big pool, plenty of beds, direct access to the beach, fabulous sunsets snd a short walk to Haadrin Walking Street, restaurants and its beach. The only negative was that smoking was permitted around the pool, it would’ve been a more pleasant experience if there were smoking and none smoking areas and it was enforced by staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Summer luxury resort! This place is absolutely stunning from the rooms, to the pool, to the restaurant, it really is the full package for such a good price! Our room was HUGE and the bathroom was so spacious and modern! The room even had a sofa and a dressing station with a light up mirror and chair! We spent a lot of our time round the pool which had many seating areas and beds! You can also get drinks served straight to you from the bar! The restaurant had a delicious menu it was so hard to choose what to eat everyday, everything was so fresh! The hotel even helped organise a surprise sunset dinner on the beach for my partners birthday, even bringing out a cake to sing happy birthday, and they decorated the room too! We even got a transfer drop off and pick up from the hotel to the famous full moon party on the island! Not to mention the resort is also on the beach so you can even explore the sea if you wanted! I couldn’t recommend the Summer luxury resort enough, it really was the ultimate luxury stay!!

Nice place to stay, it is on the more calmer part of the beach. The restaurant part could do more improvements, like basic English for staff and breakfast is definitely not value for money. You can find much better ones around. The room is spacious and clean every day. We enjoyed the pool as well.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotless. The staff were always incredibly friendly! The breakfast buffet was also delicious and plentiful. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's perfect if you're looking for some peace and quiet. The hotel has a lovely beach right nearby. Just keep in mind that depending on your room's location, you might have a bit more walking to do (e.g., to breakfast/pool/beach), and some of the paths can be quite steep. However, this wasn't a major issue for us. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel!
