Cclark_wPerfect, but the old lady at the front desk of the bath is indifferent, completely unable to reach the service level of the general hotel, does she not get paid at work?

Amazing
CChristine TsoiFor anyone travelling along the Tateyama Alpine route, I would highly recommed a stay on the mountain so you can enjoy the scenery without rushing. We love Ryokan (Traditional Japanese Inn) because they always offer delicious course meals (dinner & breakfast) and a public bath. We even enjoyed a free flow of local sake and liquor at dinner! The Midagahara Hotel even offer hiking guides, boots and stargazing guides after dinner. It was a shame that we did not take the hiking trail due to the weather condition (foggy and low visibility), but the stargazing part did not disappoint - we were able to see a sky full of stars by our bare eyes. If we could withstand the cold we could have seen the Milky Way. The hotel shop also offers a wide range of local specialties. We had a nice sleep in our Japanese style room and woke up to a sea of clouds. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Tateyama Alpine route.

RringryuThis room should be rarely occupied, let me comment It is a low-priced hotel in Tateyama Kurobe Scenic Area, and it also includes 2 meals, which is very cost-effective. Advantages: Breakfast and dinner are very rich, and I basically can't eat them all. The view of the restaurant is also good. It is very close to the Midagahara bus stop, just a few steps away, unlike the Thunderbird Sawa where it is more inconvenient. You need to make an appoin**ent with the front desk when checking in to get on the bus the next day, otherwise they won't stop (I saw colorful clouds when waiting for the bus that morning) There is a large bath, and it is quite comfortable to take a bath There are snacks for sale, so you don't have to worry about having nothing to eat at night Although I didn't book a hotel in Murodo (that one is also expensive, the price per person is three or four times higher), but the altitude is only 400 meters different. If the weather permits, you can also stargaze at the hotel entrance Disadvantages: There is no toilet in the room, but the price of this scenic area is generally such a configuration, which is in line with the cost-effectiveness.

Bbrian looIf you have never seen the snow-capped mountains, you can go and see them. Please come back today. There is no need to stay in a hotel. The hotel facilities are relatively old and the price is poor. A nearby hot spring hotel with two berths and one night is a better choice

GGuest UserThe room is Japanese-style tatami, and three people live more comfortably. The dining is also ok in terms of the conditions on the mountain, and you can eat enough. The inn is at least two kilometers away from the room. It is basically a step or a stone road. It is about three mountains high and low. It is a bit tired, but the scenery along the way is quite good. The hotel is right next to the geothermal heat, the hot spring is original, the hotel is close to the mountaineer campground (the last picture was taken at the entrance of the hotel, zoomed in, and the small colored dots are camping ⛺️)
