"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I would strongly recommending EVERYONE to stay at Shangri La Nanchang. Lastly, the bell boy and traffic control staff were always helpful and friendly in treating every guest with respect. Well done Shangri La Nanchang for training all your staff with pride and respect. ❤️💪👍😊 You can watch the fountain dancing every night at 7pm to 7.15 pm and 8pm to 8.15 pm. 🎄"

Secondly, the hotel room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable beds, which allowed me to get a good rest during my journey. The service staff is enthusiastic and efficient. Both the front desk reception and room service make me feel very considerate. In addition, the hotel's dining is also excellent, with rich and varied dishes, authentic taste and reasonable prices. It's walking distance to Tengwangge, and close to many lively pedestrian streets. The hotel staff probably does not see many foreign visitors, so there was some confusion with our documents at check in. However, it was quickly resolved."

"This top revolving hotel is well located in the older part of Nanchang. It’s a block from the night “ walking street” & 2 blocks from thousand bless palace food place. Good 10 minutes walking distance to local tourist attraction “ King Teng palace” by the River. Breakfast is good but not spectacular, only one option for coffee though. Top feature was the revolving restaurant though a little aged , is still an attraction. I believe this hotel can do better to enhance its image through a little modernization. Lighting controls in our room is a little confusing. Thermostat cooling was not favourable at times, heating for bathing water can be a little delayed at times. Other than that, all was well."

"The hotel 🏨 has complete facilities. It is a good choice for parent-child travel. I prepared a small surprise and card for my daughter's birthday 🎁. I also met Fan Fan (Chrissie Fan) who came to the concert at the door of the hotel. The types and nutrition of breakfast are very attentive, and the service is also very warm and thoughtful. The three-day and two-night stay experience is very good. I saw ”old facilities and not many types of buffet breakfast” in other comments before, and I was a little worried. After testing it myself, I think it is still in line with the quality and standards of a five-star hotel~ The room environment is very good, the hygiene is good, and it is very convenient to go out to the subway station. There are service staff who call in advance to ask about needs. The service of Xiao Wang in guest service is also very good. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied overall."

"Very strange. After checking in, I went out for dinner. While gone, I got some messages on WeChat from the front desk that there was a problem. When I returned, they told me that they couldn't register me and they needed more information. This is the first time that I had to show and have pictures taken of all my work visas I have had since I last entered the country six years ago, especially since there is no problem with my current visa. I don't know if it is the hotel itself that wanted this or the local PSB when they were registering me. Whatever the reason, it made me feel unwelcome. Other foreigners wanting to stay here - you might not be welcome. The law says that they must accept you, and they will accept you, but you know that they still don't want you to be there."

"The lobby is amazing. During the entire stay, the warm reception at the front desk made me feel the hotel staff's persistent pursuit of service quality. The room 🈶 reception fruit, 🈶 welcome cakes, and cultural and creative cloth bags were given the next day. The room is very large, especially the bathroom, with a large bathtub. A square stool is considerately placed, which may be used to take care of the elderly bathing. The breakfast is also very rich, with local specialties such as clay pot soup and noodles, as well as white sugar cakes, so you don't have to go to the street to find them. The transportation is very convenient, Yongshu Road Station, and there are also some food, such as folk restaurants. "The hotel is in a good location, just opposite the Tengwang Pavilion, across the river from the Tengwang Pavilion, not far from the Bayi Bridge, and within walking distance from the music fountain of Qiushui Square.
The river view room can enjoy the light show across the river in the room, which is very beautiful and worth staying. The hotel room price did not increase much during the May Day holiday, and the price-performance ratio is still good.
The details of the hotel's sanitation need to be improved. I found a screw and melon seed shell by the window, but the cleaning lady was pretty good. She only asked me to help take out the garbage, but she still cleaned the room. Some of the hotel's facilities are a bit old, and one of the drawers of the bedside table is broken.
I don't know why the hotel's gym and swimming pool are not open in such hot weather or holidays. It's a bit regrettable, but the overall feeling is still good. When I sat by the window at night and watched the light show across the river, I felt that this room was worth it!"

GGuest UserWe drove 8 hours to get here with our two dogs. We were the only guests staying that night. The landlady upgraded the room for free and cooked ginger, red dates and pear soup for us in the evening. The room is very new and clean, and the corridor is close to the mountainside vegetation. This is a hotel that has been completely renovated from an ancient village. It has food, accommodation and transportation. This hotel is at the highest point of the village. From the balcony of the room, you can see the courtyards and different rooftops of the houses below. The landlady asked us to put down our luggage and go to the top of Meiling to see the freezing rain. It was really worth the 8-hour drive. Unfortunately, most of the photos are on the camera and can only be taken after the trip. If you take your pets out, or if you like a quiet environment and hiking, I really recommend this place!

FFudaleeThe Hotel was a bit difficult to find ( 20 minutes walking to the nearest subway-Jingdong Lu - Exit 5 or 6 - if Exit 5 turn left when you come outside and then cross the street at the KFC and walk across the street and then 800 metres straight to the hotel) but once there I was able to figure out the local logistics, so no problems after that. The facilities are Extremely clean and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The one thing I would like to point out as far as EXCEPTIONAL service goes is that on my first night there I returned to the hotel in a taxi and accidentally left my mobile phone in the taxi. The night-shift girl there spent 2 or 3 hours dealing with the police on my behalf to find the taxi and have the phone retrieved successfully. It was totally INCREDIBLE for all of the work she put into successfully retrieving the phone for me, and I will be forever Grateful for her efforts and her intelligent tactics to make this happen with a Great successful ending. This would probably never happen elsewhere. I would 110 % recommend this hotel due to the Great staff there and Super Cleanliness and Service and I have travelled China immensely.

MM481724****The most satisfying night I stayed in Jiangxi for a few days. I was very satisfied from the beginning of the check-in at the front desk. Every staff member at the front desk had a super good service attitude. When I checked in, I sent a souvenir. When I checked out, there was a souvenir. The room was also very large and the decoration was very nice. Just next to Wanshougong subway station, the location is super convenient, you can go shopping when you go out, you can go back to rest when you are tired, it is really super recommended

First of all, the location is very convenient. The hotel is situated near Xiejiacun Metro Station, which makes it extremely easy to travel around the city. Within just a few stops, you can reach major landmarks such as Bayi Square, Tengwang Pavilion, and the Gan River. The Hengmao Dream Times shopping complex is also nearby, offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This combination of metro access and entertainment options makes the hotel an excellent base for exploring Nanchang.

The bathroom was also very good—compact but functional, with a nice shower, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. Everything worked well, and hot water was consistent. Housekeeping did a good job in keeping the room tidy and replenishing supplies.
