JI Hotel (Nanjing Confucius Temple) Reviews

Whenever I travel, Quanjin is always my top choice, and they never disappoint. Not only is the environment and hygiene consistently spotless, but the front desk service is also incredibly warm and attentive. Most importantly, it's just a few minutes' walk from the Qinhuai River and Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple), which I wanted to explore.

The location is incredibly convenient, with a subway station just around the corner. Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is right across the street, and there's a shopping mall and a 24-hour FamilyMart next door, making it super easy to visit Fuzimiao anytime. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. Even better, takeout can be delivered directly to your door! I'll definitely be returning! 😊

This hotel is in a great location, very close to Fuzimiao Temple and the subway station, making it perfect for tourists visiting Nanjing. The cleanliness was excellent, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with any issues. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Nanjing.

The hotel is modern, with new facilities and user-friendly smart devices. However, its street-facing location means the soundproofing isn't great late at night, especially as Fuzi Temple is directly opposite and can get quite lively in the evenings. On the plus side, the staff are incredibly warm and their service is very attentive!

The room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy. Considering my mother's mobility issues, I booked the Ji Hotel directly opposite the North Gate of Fuzi Temple, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It was so easy to pop over to Fuzi Temple for meals, and we found a wide variety of delicious food there. My child particularly enjoyed the noodles at Li Baixie; they were quite tasty! In the evening, we also walked just over 600 meters from the hotel to dine at Xiao Chuniang, which was decent. After dinner, we simply strolled around the neighborhood. It was just a weekend, but the area was so crowded and bustling!

The location is absolutely fantastic! Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) is right on your doorstep, making it super convenient to head back to the hotel and unwind after a long day of exploring. The breakfast area is a bit small, but the variety and quality are excellent! Highly recommended! We managed to tick off all the must-visit spots with ease.

The service was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite Fuzimiao and just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. The front desk staff were very accommodating; they helped store my child's traditional Chinese medicine in their refrigerator and even delivered our takeout orders to the room. You'll find an abundance of local street food and a large shopping mall right next door, making the area incredibly vibrant and convenient for exploring. Overall, the location is simply superb. What's more, the cleaning staff, front desk team, and the service in general were all exceptional. Everything was absolutely flawless, ensuring a truly wonderful and pleasant stay.

The stay met our needs, and the enhanced security was a significant bonus. The room was minimalist and uncluttered, with only essential power outlets, which I appreciated for its simplicity and for simplifying personal safety checks. The door featured a double locking system, with a sturdy door chain as the secondary lock. My friend and I even tested it: even if the main lock was opened with a room card, the chain could not be disengaged by reaching through. The smart robot that delivered takeout directly to our room door was a fun and novel touch.

(Just a minor suggestion: the showerhead was a bit too high, which wasn't ideal for shorter guests, and the shower holder felt a little loose. Hopefully, these can be improved.)
