The room is OK, but the big bed is relatively small. domestic five feet
However, please improve the detailed procedures for deduction of hotel services!
1. If you stay for three days + stay for one more day, you will be deducted an extra day’s room fee of USD 4,300
2. It is agreed that the deposit is 300 per day, 900 for 3 days, and 2700 US dollars will be deducted directly for check-in
This math skills are really not good 🤷♂️
The room is quite big, but the king-size bed and sofa are not suitable for family travel, so you still need to book a twin room. The bathroom is very small, unlike a five-star hotel, and the facilities are just ordinary, without toothbrushes and toothpaste. It is surrounded by Fifth Avenue and various commercial streets. There are many restaurants around, and there are many people. Good restaurants need to be booked.
Service around hotel restaurant drinks luggage n counter very good. Beautiful interior foyer. Room big n comfortable. Bit of construction in location. Only issue rang 2 times for room clean up n removal of room service cart which didnt happen.

Others food have : many kind of bread , cereal , banana ,orange . Yogurt, cookies . For evening have free wine , nuts, chips ,grape.
For hotel surprise , when you open the lift can see the instrument wall paper , and also your room ! As a pianist , we request for piano theme . And .. it’s surprising me! I love it , simple but nice !
For location , it’s fantastic! Many Restaurent beside hotel. Including next door pizza , japan store , healthy wrap food ++ no problem for food lover !
Few market shop around too . Very good . Get any food you like ! Me and my daughter (8) love the curry chicken with rice at Ernest Klein market . It’s hot and just take how many you want. Quite good for Asians . For sure insure many food for you to pick, including fruits.
Don’t ask me about price here ! Absolutely very expensive for Malaysian ! But very normal in US . Almost every single meal about USD 20 + . And tax here very high , a waiters told me to pay extra 20% by the bill . . And also empty hot dog about USD 10 beside the road stall .
Everything here is just good , train station anywhere . From hotel maybe just need few second to reach !
For hotel, this is the best ! And don’t forget they provide umbrellas as well! Here sometime very hot and sometime raining !
The room is not big but very clean. The toiletries are very conscience, it is fresh, and it is very large, and it has not been used up for 8 days. The above is an advantage. Unfortunately, the store has encountered the wrong credit card for this trip. I should be polite. Strictly speaking, it should be a stolen brush. I separated two orders for fear of flight delay, the first order for 3 days and the second for 5 days, and all the accommodation fees have been paid in advance. When the hotel said that it would pay the deposit, I understand and cooperate. But after paying the entire deposit of 700 knives for the first order, the hotel will swipe 200 knives from my credit card every day at 4 am without knowing that I will. There is no reason. After I challenged, I was asked to guarantee the credit card amount so that I could deduct the money. The hotel has been pushing me to explain after expressing doubts, and one day when I repeatedly asked for an explanation of the bill, I promised that I would reply within an hour, and the phone explained the bill. But I didn't get the call until I asked the store for a third time to explain the bill, and no one checked it out to find that it was a mistake, but no one ever said a word of sorry. Until the next day, I wrote a handwritten letter and three cans of candy perfunctory. The letter content from beginning to end without a word of sorry, I said that I am grateful to stay. Ha ha. This is really a very low score from the service of the hotel. I want to remind fellows that when you should be tough, you must not be too good to speak.
Since it is not a chain brand, it seems to be a grade lower than that of Hilton. However, the old hotel has its own old taste. Although the elevator space is small, the bright copper panels reveal the charm of old New York. The lobby is small but exquisite. , The room is much bigger than expected, there is no sofa in the twin room, and the refrigerator is not available for some reason, but you can call the customer service to send a kettle. From the welcome to the front desk to the room staff, they are basically greeted with smiles. Ctrip did not appear to be overcharged at the checkout when booking the room, and only charged a few dollars marked at the time of booking. Not to mention the location, walking distance to Central Park, Metropolis, Museum of History and Natural History, etc., it is especially close to MOMA, three or four minutes, it is much quieter and more convenient than living in Times Square area.
Very good experience. For the first time, stay at the 1 Hotel Central Park. The front desk is very nice and everyone smiles. The room is not a luxury type, but it is very clean. The location is also very convenient and it is very convenient to go to the airport.
We liked everything, the location is good, the staff is kind and friendly, the bed is very good, the breakfast was great, the pool is very good, I just didn't give it a 10 because of something that I explain below

GGuest UserThis hotel is actually Courtyard by Marriott. The rooms are not big, but they include microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.! The floor provided by the hotel is relatively high, and you can see the Hudson River and Times Square. The location is also great, and you can walk to Times Square, the Museum of Modern Art, Fifth Avenue, and Central Park. If you are willing to walk to attractions, the Met and Summit One are both good. The breakfast is also good, but I found black bugs in the bathroom.
__cmb4392258000123739The location is superb; if you're looking to catch a Broadway musical, this is undoubtedly one of the best choices. For such a prime spot, it offers fantastic value for money. Our room was a good size, and the bathroom was also quite spacious. Having a fridge and microwave in the room made our week-long stay with my daughter very comfortable.
KKimKim Dight IuffredoWe decided to change hotels from our original in hell's kitchen to this one close to the park. We stayed for 3 nights in march 2024. We had a twin room on the 6th floor. Room 650. The entrance is quite grand and the lobby is really big. We checked in around 1600 hours. It was easy and we were aware of the additional charges, tax , deposit and resort fee. We'd read the reviews about the lifts being busy and some out of order. This was not an issue for us. Easy enough to walk the 6 flights of stairs as necessary. The check in staff were friendly and polite. We asked for a kettle for our room. This was delivered as were tea bags, sugar and milk along with paper cups. The room was ok. The beds were a good size. The view was of the street. The windows opened. The bathroom looked ok too. It had a bath tub. I wanted a bath. The shower was in the bath. On the surface, everything looked clean enough. The decor was a bit tired. There was a safe in the closet. The bedside lights had usb sockets and plug sockets. Very useful.
Once we were settled we started to notice issues. The bath plug didn't close. It was a push down plug. I didn't get to have my bath! The walls in the bathroom were dirty. When the shower water dripped on the tiles you could see black mould running down and into the bath tub. The mirror in the bathroom was peeling. We saw a bug running across the table area! We spoke with the cleaning staff and they said they would clean up the dirty tiles. We also spoke with reception. Someone was sent to our room to fix the plug in the bath tub. They didn't fix it. They removed the casing on the tub and just left it on the side. We reported this again and everything else we came across that was faulty or not acceptable. The staff were very polite and apologetic yet nothing actually got fixed. The edges of the room were really dirty.
The lounge area on the ground floor is really nice and the bar is well stocked. The loos though were not very clean and you did have to queue to get in to them. Access only with a room key.
The actual hotel is connected to the Manhattan Club Hotel. We used the bar on the 26th floor a couple of times. It was really nice.
Upon check out we reiterated the issues that we had and staff were very apologetic and returned our deposit and resort fee. Maybe that's why a resort fee is added to these hotels. You feel like you are getting something back when in fact I don't believe a resort fee is actually that fair. Are you paying for the use of a kettle? The bar? It is listed what the resort fee entitles you to. As I mentioned, I was aware of this.
Would I stay here again? Probably not, despite the great staff and fab location and cheap room rates. I understand there is a refit of the lifts going on. Not sure about cleaning and updating of the decor. Something needs to be done to improve this hotel. I think it was probably quite glamorous back in the day.
AAnchengThe toilet had leaks issue (the room in level 48). Called hotel to fix it but the first engineer was not able to find the issue. The second engineer was able to find the issue but we were leaving New York on the same day. The leak from the toilet is quite gross.
Called hotel for help for the toilet leak issue but one of people took the call just ignore the request (he did not take an action but he said he will )
DDaven AlexanderHappy overally with the stay, but I would recomend using a card for the deposit that you can lock.
At 1:00 am, THREE WEEKS after my stay, the hotel attempted to charge $50 on my credit card that I used for the room security. There was nothing that should have been charged, and the hotel advised that ”it was just our system” - no explanation why the ”system” was attempting to charge my card, and there were no incidental charges to the room.
I'm glad the fraud guard on my credit card declined the transaction, since I may have missed the charge if I were not alerted to the possible fraud.
AAnonymous UserIn my opinion, The hotel has gone down in the last few years. We were freezing all night because the boiler turns off on the middle of the night and had to be reset by an engineer. Unfortunately not worth the money.
